This game is great! I picked it up when it released cause I loved the art style. The game is fairly simple and controls very smooth. The music is well produced and almost therapeutic at times making it a very relaxing game. I wouId call this a must play for retro 2D platformer lovers. And you get to have a big fluffy doggy!

Did you guys review this game as a result of me recommending that you do so? Also, don't you think the combat in F:SOC feels alot like that of Smelter, despite the game belonging to a different sub genre?
So I’m a little confused. I can’t just play the game straight through, I’ll have to return to replay levels but with a higher difficulty to move forward? This game looks awesome and I would love to play it but if the only way to play is to replay levels then it’s a no for me.
It will be nice to play a more straightforward action platformer for a change as I am becoming a bit burnt out on Metroidvanias at the moment. Edit: Pity that there is no physical. I may wait for news on that before dipping in.

I don't understand all the positive vibes from this game.... yes, the artwork and design are really neat, buy this game is boooooooring! Combat is extremely repetitive and the "puzzles" are easy enough for a 5 year old to figure out.... i dunno, i think o have just played too many of these types of games
