Very excited firstly, only to be disappointed and disturbed to find the words fuck the police throughout polytron’s Twitter! Being based in Montreal, it must be convenient to call for petitions against the very people protecting impoverished, dangerous communities while thousands of miles away! This is unfortunate since the game looks special! But this is a pass for me and anyone who truly cares for minority business owners and less for vapid virtue signaling!!
Oh the hours I spent on this one. I will have to get it again since my 360 died so long ago. The soundtrack by Disasterpeace ALONE is worth it. I'm so happy it came to Switch! Thanks for this LEGEND of a video man!
It’s a bonafide classic. I own it on everything it’s available for as it seems to be part of my life like a great album or movie. I would love a physical release of this. The music is just next level. It was my first introduction to Disasterpeace. I have most of his work now too. I couldn’t imagine this game without the soundtrack. If you haven’t guessed I love this game.

Fez looks so amazing. Great review. I was curious before your video and now I’m sold. I’m going to buy it right now. It’s nice to have an amazing chill game. I’ve played 800 hours of Animal Crossing during the pandemic but I’m a little tired of it right now and looking for all kinds of different games. Animal Crossing is amazing but I need something new to play when I’m tired and just want to relax. I find it very difficult to find a relaxing game that’s amazing and I love.
I bought this game on steam for Mac, then again years later for my PS Vita. After seeing this review and it reminding how truly rare it is to have a game that just nails it on every level, I might have to do a hat trick on this one. Soundtrack is absolutely stunning and I recommend picking it up on Bandcamp or iTunes as well.
I also played this on the Xbox 360 and it was, and still is one of my top 5 gaming experiences. I adored this game back when it released and even more so now. Every now and then a truly unique and amazing game comes along and Fez is one of those games. What a masterpiece! The soundtrack is available online and......just like the game, is a masterpiece 😊

I was out of playing games for a few generations, the newest home console I had prior to my switch was the og Xbox, so I missed so much. Love that ports like this are coming to the switch and helping me to catch up on the classics. Back in the room now and following this review I've picked Fez straight up
I didn't know this game had been on the 360(of course I never really got into playing games on the 360) but I saw it on the eshop earlier today and the short clip I saw of the gameplay made me smile..not alot of games do that anymore,so I'm definitely picking this one up..I was surprised you guys gave it such a high score..that's one reason I like this channel is you guys are truthful,if a game sucks or certain parts of it suck you come out and say so..since you guys gave this game such a high score I know that I won't be wasting my money with this one and you have affirmed my initial feeling of it when I saw the gameplay 😁

After seeing indie game the movie, this was always on the back of my mind. Really unfortunate this guy got canceled. He seemed to be strugling with a lot of issues. Like most genius people do. I hope this get a physical release so it can get a nice spot in my collection.

I was in love with the demo on xbla as a child but never had the $15 to blow on it. I already had an Xbox One by the time I could dream that dream. So glad to see this game comeback and I can’t wait to finally get into it.
What a heavenly game! I bought it back in the day on the Xbox 360 and on PC, next on PS4 and now again on the Nintendo Switch. It's a testament to how good this game actually really is from the sound(track), gfx to gameplay, it's one of the OG indie darlings!

Back in the day I was too busy playing Grand Theft Auto to check this one out. Now, this looks perfect. Excellent review, I'm going to pick this up. It reminds me of Toads Treasure tracker, which surely was inspired by this game.

Fez is SUCH a good game. The sense of depth while still LOOKING 2D is just... wow. Really hope this does well on Switch. Shame we won't get a sequel. Please do "There is No Game: Wrong Dimension" next. I played the first one years ago and was so happy when I saw the sequel was coming to the Switch.

I was half expecting a Captain Toad Treasure Tracker rehash. boy howdy was i wrong. what wonderfully unique beautiful to look at puzzle game. I dont gush over games often, but this deserves it.
This is probably the most chilling YET challenging game i´ve ever played.I tried to find that feeling ever since, but had no luck with maybe one exception: Yokus Island Express. No pressure, no annoying enemies that pop up out of nowhere and change the tone of the game - just an surreal adventure, chilling music, pleasing and consistent (!) visuals. (Kinda like Celeste, but without nerve-wrecking jumping combos haha) I thought this game will never reface, since the dev had a meltdown and panned Fez2.
Bought it day one back on the Xbox 360. Didn't know it was on Switch, i just bought it now on the Switch store, great game made even greater now i can revisit it and play on the go.
I’ve never heard of it before, but going to pick it up now. It seems a bit like Captain Toad and I enjoyed playing that. Thanks for switching me on to a new game 🙂

@@TheLightlessMoon Captain Toad isn't really the same thing. The switching doesn't do anything to the environment, it just helps discover/see things better. Even then I think they said they were inspired by those cube dioramas (I forgot the name of it), and Rubix cubes. Nintendo usually doesn't get inspired by other games but by real world objects and concepts. Fez feels closer to Super Paper Mario, which came out before Fez but I don't think they really inspired each other.
I absolutely loved this game on the Xbox, and I will absolutely be picking this one up on Switch. As another commenter says, the Switch and indie games is a perfect match, and what I primarily use the console for.
It's on PC also. Hopefully it'll be released on the XSX in 4k 60fps - I'd prefer that solution or accept the Switch version if it goes on sale (bigger reduction 'cos I'm tight). Great review, thanks. Now I can add Fez to my wishlist.
Definitely a masterpiece. This game was what threw me into the pixel art back in 2012. I will be picking it up again on switch and I deeply wish that Phil change his mind and complete the sequel one day. Despite all the happenings we just want the Fez 2.
I remember looking at the icon on App Store and wasn’t even bothered to check what it was. Not sure if that was a good move, but I aim to rectify that mistake as this looks absolutely amazing
So I had never heard of this game. I think it came out in the void where I wasn’t playing games much. Also possible bc the OG Xbox is the only one I ever owned. This looks sublime and amazing and is immediately at the top of my list to buy.

i used to play these 3d world puzzles all the time on my phone. this brings back big memories.

This game is definitely in my top 5, it's THAT amazing. Polytron did an incredible job.

Definitely a masterpiece. This game was what threw me into the pixel art back in 2012. I will be picking it up again on switch and I deeply wish that Phil change his mind and complete the sequel one day. Despite all the happenings we just want the Fez 2.

I remember looking at the icon on App Store and wasn’t even bothered to check what it was. Not sure if that was a good move, but I aim to rectify that mistake as this looks absolutely amazing

The same thing happens to me with some games. After this video I’m buying it. Dead cells is one of my favorites and I didn’t think I would like it.

So I had never heard of this game. I think it came out in the void where I wasn’t playing games much. Also possible bc the OG Xbox is the only one I ever owned.
This looks sublime and amazing and is immediately at the top of my list to buy.
I am so tempted to buy Fez again I have it on the 360 and yet to complete it, yup sitting in my back log on that console too lol
