And Now that I have gotten to record with this product to test it's performance, I now 100% know my excitement was justified.

My new DM6 Seismic Kick Drum Mic from Earthworks Audio is finally here!!!! After using it i can honestly say it is a #gamechanger of a mic that COMPLETELY lives up to it's hype, AND MORE! The DM6 is a condenser microphone with a Super Cardioid Pattern. It’s designed to capture the most powerful of bass drum lows, a crisp attack, and incredible punch without missing a single nuance of your kick sound due to it’s 20HZ to 20KHZ frequency response. Designed to rock literally "out of the box". When you add your flavor of EQ, however, is when you understand what I mean by "and more". Responsive, clean, and powerful. Live this could be the only mic you ever need.
What’s even better is during testing I got to pair my DM6 with my awesome new SR 117 which is hands down the best hand-held vocal mic I have ever used. Turns out it's a ridiculously amazing snare mic as well. Another game changer of a mic from Earthworks Audio as it's also the dialogue mic for this video shout out.
