- Many of you have been requesting deeper dives into some Philippine topics, including the REAL ESTATE MARKET. I will be researching and recording videos on many topics and offering them to members, some exclusive and some early access. Youtubing costs money, and the ROI is not great for most, so this will help me produce more in-depth videos on certain topics.

I watch some of your videos and some I don't. Doesn't UA-cam already pay a lot of money to you for your hard work, so why the membership? I've never paid for a membership and never will. You do a good job and good luck
UA-cam used to pay better but I hear many from many genres saying UA-cam revenue has taken a big drop. Competition is 1 reason

Good to see you, Rod! I have watched for a couple of years. I have been in Lapu-Lapu for 5 months; leaving at the end of September to go home and decide if I want to relocate permanently. No traveling around this trip, just trying to see if I can live day-by-day and be happy here. No decision yet. Thank you for all of your informative and inspirational videos!

Thanks Jim. Revenue from yt has been dropping for most I think for over a year. Competition from fb, tiktok, and others plus so many vloggers competition also.

Rod for your single subscribers who are looking into moving to the Philippines do you also offer consulting? That might be a huge benefit to a membership.
On a rare occasion I get a request philrose.
One of those pogo outfits recently moved to the UK. and have been busted for all kinds of law-breaking with its top people jailed. Why moving from the Philippines to the UK to run that kind of outfit seemed a good idea is a complete mystery,they were probably being watched from Day 1.

I think you can set up your T-Shirts though tee spring , if I’m not mistaken a lot of UA-camrs use it , they will help you Design your shirts and I think they will make shirts on a “ for need “ basis, meaning they won’t make shirts on a bulk order, just on a individual order, I don’t have the watch time Or subscribers yet to participate but this is what I hear. Enjoy your new phase of your channel, I’ll look into joining myself soon 😊

A Merchant Marine apprenticeship on cargo ship is good opportunity to live overseas
I tried to get a job on a ship in Houston in the 90's. No experience though. I called a few shipping companies that told me it was a recession and not hiring. Needed some card from the coast guard. They would not give me one unless I had a letter from a ship company saying that they would hire me. Would have been an interesting journey Lamont.

As one Utuber said of his channel in the Philippines. He only expects 10 percent at best of those that watch his channel to travel to the Philippines. Of those 10 percent how, many would choose to become a member? As a viewer I have never become a member of any channel, no matter the subject. Perhaps it will be a positive for you? Ten percent of the total would be 4500. One percent of ten percent would only be 45. Utube must have run the numbers in order for them to make the suggestion to you. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Subscribers vs regular viewers is a big difference also. There are some topics and research costs that a few will appreciate.

I like your channel and watch frequently. I won’t pay extra to watch any online content though. Whether it is by membership or subscription. Hope it works well for you though. You probably do YT as a paying hobby you enjoy. What I would pay for though is a real estate guide/advisor on good places to stay/rent that was objective. Flat fee and no commission to keep from being slanted.
