That's because you're not a 'human being'. The minute you signed the contract you stopped being a 'person' and started being an 'asset'. You are property of the US government to be used, and possibly expended, as the exigencies of the service demand. The only difference between you and a truck tire is that the company commander doesn't have to write a letter to the family of the truck tire. And it's been that way since Gaius Marius professionalized the legions of ancient Rome. I say that as a former asset [a tank crewman in my case] who came very near to being expended in the service of United States way back when.

It's a cake walk - they reduced all the standards for zoomers and females and snowflakes.
Ya know I heard that in 2003 too and I doubt it was true at all.
These are the cupcakes that fill our schools and colleges.
And yet y'all had it easier than me...😂😂😁😁
Dam cant relate imagine being infantry instead of Cav
People like you are so annoying - stop pretending you're better than infantry. Nobody cares if you're a Cav Scout man & you shouldn't care if someone else is Infantry. Do your job, do well & move on.
What's cav
@@hardanalljr.3138cavalry scout lol
Cav are still pogs lol no blue cord cowboy hat and spurs 😂
@@billyfletcher9388lol tell'em brother.. they hate it so much
Infantry training is OSUT
aww OSUT stories....cute
Try to explain it to civilians and they just look at you
God Bless the United States Army
So why does he sound so soft
Don’t judge a book by its cover!
All the 11B's on this thread having a circle jerk over being Infantry....haha. It wasnt that hard and it was more mental then physical. The lesson learned from Infantry was the only barriers that exists is mental.
Okay I'm not saying this dude is fake... He states a lot of facts... But he literally said basic is 3 months and then for infantry it's another 3 to 4 months. That's 100 percent not true and def not something you'd get confused with or not remember. It's clearly 4 months. Nothing more nothing less...
0 truth to this
Nah this seems pretty accurate not gonna lie
Not really
My issue with the infantry was all the shitty assholes with huge egos. Too many dickheads trying to get off, never had anything going for them, then they get put in a leadership position and that's what happens. If it weren't for article 15, half the NCO's in my old platoon would be walking around with their jaw wired shut.
final FTX is what he is talking about
No one will understand
👍
Infantry is not a camping trip. Infantry is to defeat the enemy in austere conditions. Stop 🍷 ing.
He's been in only 2 years and acts like he's reflecting on a 20 yr career? Has he even deployed anywhere or been in actual combat? No mention of that in this interview. He actually sounds like those stolen valor posers looking for validation
Most vets come off like that, especially infantry.
I don't even admit to being one because of it.
@@outdoorsman7324 if he is still in he is not a veteran
@@jeffreymacintyre2711 , that has absolutely nothing to do with my statement.
Try to stay relevant. 🙄
What do you mean? He only talked about basic training and OSUT, that was the purpose of the video. He went through the training so he's explaining what he experienced. I don't see anything wrong with that.
young men. no matter what they do their first 6 years of manhood always have this stoic way of talking about their experiences
this guy is cringe. way he talks, sits, describes, etc
No way this guy was infantry he doesn’t know shit about what we do in a day
I'd rather learn a trade and sell drugs on the side.
Damn this dude is dramatic.
you are not rucking 25 miles a day in osut.....
