      No, but youll have money so long as you understand and care for your personal finances. Youll be away from your kid 6-12 months every year and a half or so, youll be in the field from 1-4 weeks every other month or so and possibly have workdays that stretch from 5/6am to 4-9pm depending on your unit.

    USMC here, morning PT, sometimes no time for chow/food. Sit in rooms all day or train in the immediate area mostly, if not in the field or on a range. Final formation and were cut for the day. Then you do whatever you want in the local area or even not local (so long as you are available for accountability the next day)

      markqwize draper me too bro. Just do what you know will make you happy, don’t listen to anybody else. Only you know the extent you’re willing to go and that may be a lot further than your family could even fathom. Take care and RLTW

    I have a meeting tomorrow with a army recruiter. What should I say or ask to a recruiter or what should I not ask a recruiter?

    • @TheInfantryLife
      @TheInfantryLife  8 років тому +3

      I would ask them about the job you wanna do, if you have one in mind. ask about bonuses, gi bill, when you could actually leave for basic, things like that. also, don't let them talk you into a job you don't wanna do.

      pushups, situps, and run bro. that shit is going to be very important during your time in basic. you need to pass the test to get out of 30th AG to begin your training.
