After the 90's its amazing he can remember his own name!!!! Went to see him in Stoke last night and its the best gig ive ever been to,he took the roof off the Vicki Hall and filmed his first solo DVD there
"you've heard of Robbie Williams then?" "yeah I live across the street from him," lol, classic, some of these interviewers lack researching skills, and who hasn't heard of Robbie Williams....
Young Slash couldn't get out of the place fast enough. As for Phil Taylor darts player, I lived in stoke 20 years -I assumed she was referring to 'philthy animal' phil motorhead... Lemmy and Robbie couldn't get out of the place fast enough and stayed well away. Sad but true.
I didn’t live in stoke but not far away. I worked on the Gas there though. Longton and Chesterton. Lived in Canada for 50 years. My accent has changed a bit but my wife and I still call each other duck. 😊
@slash4real872 how's it trolling? No mention of Staffordshire Oatcakes for 1 , then doesn't even know the 2 main teams of the city , doesn't know the slang term when greeting someone, An you want know why I say he's not a Stokie 😆 okay , so what makes him a Stokie ? What , he was born in Stoke ? Moved here ? Then left at such a early age he don't remember anything about the city. I'll stick to my first comment , he can be whatever the fuck he wants but he's definitely not a Stokie lol
Slash you're English mate and you always will be but let's face it the weather is better in LA ps thanks for the music as as a teenager I loved your guitar playing Like slash is watching this lol
Possibly. But he was always going lose his accent regardless eventually. Look at how young he was when he moved to LA. Had he moved to LA in his 20s then maybe and I mean maybe, he may have kept his accent.
Had to respond! We don't just say duck its alrite me duck/alriteduck, no one I knew cares about Port Vale! Phil Taylor epic darts player really nice guy too! And Robbie! Also should have mentioned the best thing about stoke OATCAKES! Should of kept the accent Slash they would have learned to love it!

Tbf, Slash's parents moved him out of Stoke - he was just a kid.

He's obviously been away from the area for a pretty long time and he must have been fairly young when he shipped out to California.

Ducks more of a derby thing cus im from derby my family use it its kinda annoying
Hannah Wootton I'm from stoke and duck is very stokey
No it isn't
LOL :)
tap on 1;57 LOL
Stoke is nere derby by the way
Hannah Wootton Stoke is nowhere near derby, it’s near Staffordshire
Stoke to derby is about 2 hours away it’s far
Eh? Lol
No it isnt, and duck is stoke slang not derby
Stoke is IN Staffordshire. Stoke to Derby is a 45 minute drive. The term “duck” doesn’t originate from/only get used in Stoke.
