Stock 2wd buggy has found it's way into Danish Offroad too. For a few seasons it has been the biggest class. For several reasons. - It's much easier for the hobby driver to go racing somewhat competetively without tons of practise. - the running costs are lower as the car and tires doesn't wear as quickly - the racing is really good because the speed is manageable for most. We even see some of the fastest guys run it because of the good and close racing. The class came about as 2wd Mod died, and many found it difficult in low grip conditions etc. It was made a stock class to see if the interest was there and after a few races it was decided it should be an official class at out races. Definately here to stay.
Long live the 3+ hour podcast! You guys did a bang-up job. Can't agree more with Max - give me a challenging track that allows for racing other racers!
Really they need to make more then 1 fast line around the track , that just makes a follow the leader scenario and wait for a mistake. They need to get creative and make the inside an off camber with a berm on the outside or a jump section that can be tripled on the outside but only doubled on the inside or things like that. In general more outside berms would be ideal so give 2 fast lines through the turn
