She's a legend. She is an absolute embodiment of strength, unrivalled courage, and the voice of an angel. She's a warrior. Sinead didn't sell out for anyone and did all that she could to dress down her beauty, not rely on it, like singers today. That kind of light will never be dimmed down, though. I pray she finds peace.
She dressed down because she had been sexually assualted and harassed so many often. Not cuz she was trying to be "Not like the other women" (singers today)
Damm! I love your message. It makes me cry. Sinead was a real fighter, a real heroe and very talented. She was a true teller :( against the elite and fucking system
Magical. And haunting. Has the lilt and cadence of mournful songs in a lyrical Irish folk tradition. Tremendously sorrowful to lose such a powerful, unique artist. There will never be another like Sinéad.
I'm still grieving even though it has been more than two months. I realized after her death that I wasn't just a super fan of Sinéad going back to when I heard her for the first time at age 16. I realized that I am her acolyte, and she my spiritual mother, the Universal Mother. She has done as much for me to influence my approach to life, my compassion for others, and my desire to still be here on this crazy earth as anyone else I have actually known. She rests in glory: Sister, Mother, Friend, Lover, Teacher, Prophet. Shuhada Sadaqat. Thank you.
I've heard so many versions of this lyrical poem but Sinead's was the most beautifully haunting, when I heard the news that she had passed this was the first song I thought of.
I compared Sinead to James Baldwin. Another one that was eloquent far beyond his years. They were great listeners. They listened to the centuries of their peoples suffering...and they sang, or wrote of that message. We can't imagine the power, we can only listen to these great listeners.

Agreed. She was always a beacon of truth, courage and hope. What a true blessing she was.

The best Acapella voice ever. Unrivaled. Sinead you are inspirational. RIP

Exactly. Well said.
She absolutely does not get the credit she deserves for that voice.
Agreed!
This song means so much to me, I played it on repeat when my dad died, and then my sister, and then my mom. ❤️🩹

RIP my queen. No one has or will ever match her vocal talent! 🙏
The one and only. Her singing acapella is unreal. 🥰
Otherworldly.
the raw honesty of this irish singer leaves noone unmoved. May she rest in peace
Rest in peace. Pure legend.
She was the soul of Ireland. She really was. My God, she was. I'm so glad she's finally free.
I could not agree more! She really was. It's a pity that she did not get the right help that she deserve.
One her best songs, probably the best version.

Rest in Power Sinead. You soared high and burned bright for many!
This song is especially poignant now that she's passed. An angel on earth. Now an angel in eternity.
Just stupendous - no-one sings acapella like her.
Crying from the heart ❤️
Sinéad is such a poetess. What an amazing voice and she sang this song with the deepest passion. Sinéad is amazing.
Toute jeune et déjà un talent exceptionnel, la meilleure voix au monde, la plus belle âme.
