Every character sucks; but is also OP, and in a good place. Dont be fooled the tier isn't indicative of how good the character is ... F's look like A's guys What did I just watch?!?
Dog ngl I think Wrastor just sucks ass unless your a gigga pro. I've been playing melee for over a decade and I cannot win a single ranked match with this stupid bird. I'm getting clapped by random aerials at like 90% while I cannot get a kill even at 140% unless I land the very specific hitboxes of the very specific moves designated to kill. Wrastor's air smash attacks seem horribly underwhelming and don't kill at reasonable percent's unless sweetspotted, and the combos are not intuitive at all. It feels like none of my aerials have any hitstun on them whatsoever and send at super hard to follow up angles. I also don't see anyone else playing this bird. I'm like 0 and 14 for ranked matches and I haven't seen a single other wrastor. I know he's supposed to be hard to use but GOD DAMN! I think I'm just done with this bird. Only thing he seems to have going for him is the slipstream, which is pretty powerful but doesn't seem to make up for his shortcomings. It just feels impossible to figure this guy out without studying extensive guides and hitting training mode save states for 9000 hours.
Exactly. They said there was going to be single player and then pulled it because of development costs were underestimated. It seems like Dan was in a rush to release the game and I hope they don’t run out of money because I love Rivals 1.

On a less serious note, provided the characters remain the same as in the demo, then it's clear that maypul and wrastor are on a tier on their own, while clairen is much weaker, she still has like a decent matchup against the top tiers, but that's all it really is, kragg is another one that is too high, mostly because of how easy it is to gimp him, the boulder is crazy good, but the issue is in how easy it is to stop him from pulling it up in the first play, forsburn I think is another one that is insanely good and people just doesn't have the mindset and the hands to properly use, is a character that is well balanced and hard to play, loxodont I kind of agree is bad, but mostly because he is the one character that doesn't have some insane bullshit mechanic that allows him to stand up, he just plays too honest of a game, rewardless, still a good character all things consider.

The odd thing I keep hearing wraster is so good since like the first but I played the demo for 10 hours and the live game for 8 by now and i haven't fought a single wraster I'm 1150 if that means anything.
Shouldn’t there be videos of Arcade Mode right about now?
Played a couple games with my friends of rivals 2, crazy unbalanced but had a fun time regardless (I was winning)
You were wrong in multiverses
So you are saying there's no bad characters
This game is really the epitamy of "If everyone is super, no one will be". Every character has such good things going for them even the "worst" character feels great and like every match is winnable.
@@erupter76500 thank you for your help! I have a laptop sadly so I guess I won't be able to play this game oh well 😊 have a blessed day!
@@JesusFreak711uh- you can only play the game from Steam, which is only available on a pc/laptop. You just a need an enough powerful one or having an enough powerful graphic card to run this game smoothly.
@@P0chuL1ver I figured it out thank you though! God bless you!!!
Void bro what's the name of game?
I think you're opinion that if a character is good enough, people will play them, is wrong. If there's an easy option with way less work to win available, people won't play harder characters.
VOIIIIIIIIID 🤩🤩🤩🤩
People may disagree but for me, i find orcane to be one of the most fucked up characters to fight. They are so good at everything imo
Orcane is very good but suffered and will suffer again from weird character syndrome, so very few play them despite their power
The way puddle controls the stage is crazy got to learn how to get around it
@@madman4043Really? Honestly % wise of characters i go against, Orcanes probably around 40-50. And a bit of people iv fought that use other characters, end up switching to Orcane as a backup
Forsburn seems like a case of ZSS sux 😂🎉
I tried playing the demo but it looked like I couldn't with a keyboard, and I don't have a controller.
Is it possible?
I’m pretty sure you can play with a keyboard
It's possible, just unpleasant.
If you turn on Dpad movement, it should be playable at least, but yeah not ideal due to missing the analog joystick input.
You might look into how to replicate a smash boxx style layout on keyboard if you are serious about doing it; those controllers are digital-only input controllers made for Melee that have angle modifier buttons to allow more than just 8 directions for movement. There are several top Melee players that use those style of controllers, so it is definitely more than just playable. Unfortunately I have no experience trying to set up a keyboard to replicate it, so I can't point you towards more resources
@@drummaniac30 yeah but at that point he should just buy a controller
@@landlandss7188 that's probably the best option, but you never know lol some people can't afford one or live in a country where electronics aren't as accessible so maybe keyboard is the only way they can possibly play
I have played the first game A LOT and also have a pretty decent amount on the second game. I feel like the second game gets rid of a lot of things that made the first feel special, like a completely different game in a way I don't like much
Was it because of the 2.5D transition? What changed?
@@bruno213Rivals 1 has no ledges, no shields (but does have parries), no grabs, and no knockdown, so it’s a VERY fast game. Recovery is also quite different without ledges. Some people really like that speed and hyper-offensive focus.
@@unseenasymptote4976 So do you feel that it adds or takes away from the game? Personally, I hate ledge trumping, seeing as I'm an avid heavy weight user. I know it's a means to offer stage control, but it can get tedious with wacky character gimmicks.
@@bruno213 for me its a lot of things they did. shields being added takes away the only parry thing that made it feel fresh and different, grabs being added took away some character specific moves that had some kind of grab as a special move. ledges being added took away from the unique way of recovering the game had. also yeah, the art being different to me took away that cool pixel art they had. movement in general just feels way weird too
@@bruno213 I’m not very good at platform fighters, so I preferred how in Rivals 1 it felt like I had less to worry about. That said, I’m also still getting used to Rivals 2, and I never really played Rivals 1 online because I had crappy internet, so it’s not really a fair comparison.
I’ll need more time to decide how I feel about the changes.
It need to come to Xbox
Bro i swear. Shit is killing me
When they will lunch this for xbox?
year or two
No wonder Clairen feels too good.
did this guy just say lox doesn't get combod as hard LOL
Ranno is suprisingly kinda hard to play
I’d love to play this game but not on pc
LETS GO VOID ♥️
wait void doesnt play ranno? wtf? lol
Every character sucks; but is also OP, and in a good place.
Dont be fooled the tier isn't indicative of how good the character is ...
F's look like A's guys
What did I just watch?!?
Me who plays ranno and clairen🤠
4:38 talk tuah lotta people
Dog ngl I think Wrastor just sucks ass unless your a gigga pro.
Hey Void. You should try DBZ Sparking Zero! There’s a lot of tech you can learn.
Kinda crazy the best smash4 shiek player isnt maining ranno lol
I simply and respectfully must disagree my good sir
Ranno in S+ is wild. Definitely good. Not the best.
F and L for forsbun and loxidont
Loxodont haters damn
Lox pisses me off.
Man, would be nice to see real rivals content instead of 100 shit week 1 tier lists.
Make this 3 months post launch. Boring to do every day
Lol leff HARD disagrees with the lox placement
Leffen put Lox 2nd to bottom in B tier? What are you on about?
I play lox and forsburn lol im cooked
"i have morals" bro you play bugs in multiversus.....are the morals in the room with us now?

Ranno way too high. Wrastor should be a tiny bit higher. Everything else is a reasonable take.

Beat me to it 😂
Talk Tuah
Replace "very very" with really for better speech.
Im really confused that they launched this game in such a beta state. The UI is booty and they have no tools for new players outside of a steam post
Exactly. They said there was going to be single player and then pulled it because of development costs were underestimated. It seems like Dan was in a rush to release the game and I hope they don’t run out of money because I love Rivals 1.
its a video game. not a movie. who cares how it looks? the gameplay is fast and crisp.
isn't this just a demo?
@@luiegiiithey didnt say there would be story mode, the arcade mode is available rn isnt it?
@@Spnsr-db9mv it released today
Please can we stop saying "smash" attacks for everyone game that's NOT smash bros?! People look up to you and your gaming opinions so let's try to make these platform fighter games stand out on their own for once. Call it what the devs names it like super attacks, strong attack, etc
🤓
Bruh everyone knows what a smash attack is. It just makes it easier to explain. Its like when you use a well known brand for a product even if its not that brand
It's really not that serious my guy. Its just universal language people use because its easier to understand. Its just like in traditional fighting games with the use of DP (Dragon Punch). It started with Street Fighter but now its just a universal term people use.
Yeah bro. That's like people saying DP in fighting games other than streetfigher. Also rivals 2 took so many mechanics from melee... so yeah?
I can't take this tier list seriously, mostly because is from the perspective o someone that supports statutory rape, I still hadnt forgotten that you advocated for nairo after watching his 30 pages of smoke, all because of nepotism, way to ruin your reputation, but that's smash amarite, shame on you.
What?
@@azizkash286 don't pay it much mind, I just felt like choosing violance today.
