Val Kilmner should be given after the fact Oscar for this movie.. Not to mention Top Secret help me through a depressive period in my life, it was hilarious & let me escape my mind....
Here's how good an actor Steven Lang is.i had no idea until I looked him up that Ike Clanton was the same guy as the villain in Avatar. THAT is phenomenal acting.
The best part in this scene is how the very second Wyatt's pistol isn't pressed on Ike Clanton's forehead he starts talking shit to Wyatt, as if his pants weren't just filled with his own feces.
Man, Doc is such a team player to have on your side. Wyatt is out there alone facing them all down, and the first one to show up and instantly even the odds is the one guy who has no business in that fight.
That shotgun blast and checking everyone was the the biggest part of this scene. Everyone getting their personality in check and that 10 gauge goes off, then it’s putting petty differences to another place.
I remember reading that Ike Clanton’s descendant’s actually sued the movie studio over Clayton’s portrayal, saying Clayton was mostly a rancher who only was loosely associated with the Cowboys, and mostly to get their protection from cattle rustlers who were constantly stealing from him.
LOL... They are full of crap. Ike was just about as big a coward as presented here. He rustled cattle out of Texas/Mexico and sold in AZ because it was far easier to rustle than to raise. Ike was a full on criminal that played at being a rancher. Although his association with the Cowboys probably was beneficial in the same way that working for the mafia means you don't suffer the mafia's depredations.
Doc Holliday is the baddest man to hold a six shooter in this movie. Everything he says and does is just so bad ass!!!! Mr. Kilmer did an outstanding job!!!

I love this movie to the moon and back and Kurt Russel is excellent but Doc Holiday takes the prize. “ how about a spelling bee “ had me rolling 🤣😂
A lot of great scenes in this movie. And in my opinion, this one is the best.
"I have two guns...one for each of ya"...😂😂😂PRICELESS
Val Kilmner should be given after the fact Oscar for this movie.. Not to mention Top Secret help me through a depressive period in my life, it was hilarious & let me escape my mind....
I'm not usually into westerns but I love tombstone everbody was great but val kilmer was amazing I don't know how he didn't get an Oscar for this role
The collection of great actors is on par with the greatest of the 20th century
Here's how good an actor Steven Lang is.i had no idea until I looked him up that Ike Clanton was the same guy as the villain in Avatar. THAT is phenomenal acting.
He also played Babe Ruth.
"Not before I turn your head into a canoe ike"! 😲🤣🤣🤣
Kirt Russell's Mustache won an award in this movie
The best part in this scene is how the very second Wyatt's pistol isn't pressed on Ike Clanton's forehead he starts talking shit to Wyatt, as if his pants weren't just filled with his own feces.
“I’ll see ya soon.” As he slinks off with his tail between his legs.
1 of my favorite roles by Kurt Russell.
The other 2 of course have to be Rudy Russo in "Used Cars" and who can forget "Boy", in "Gilligan's Island."
In That scene Wyatt had the best Lines..."make your head a canoe" Classic!
Love how he flicks Ike away with the barrel of his pistol.
Man, Doc is such a team player to have on your side. Wyatt is out there alone facing them all down, and the first one to show up and instantly even the odds is the one guy who has no business in that fight.
BILLY!!! He'll k'!l me!!!....lol gets me everytime....
You're not as dumb as you look Ike...lol
Ike was such a coward. A fake tough guy.
That shotgun blast and checking everyone was the the biggest part of this scene. Everyone getting their personality in check and that 10 gauge goes off, then it’s putting petty differences to another place.
"You are not stupid as you look, ike" 😁
One of my favorite westerns about real lawmen and real lawless Ombres!
Val Kilmer actually deserved an Oscar for his role in The Doors
and for this one too

This entire movie was so well crafted! Classic!
"You're friends might get me in a rush but not before I make your head in to a canoe, you understand me!?" "You're not as stupid as you look Ike!" Damn if that didn't have me laughing 🤣
