I expect an Echos update to include a Steel Path version of Netracells that can be run over and over again with only 5 chances per week at the Tauforged shards, but still able to get the Arcanes.
Honestly the arcanes cost a ton of plat and at this rate I would expect early adaptors to be actually getting off cheap. While I did buy mine for a hefty price, I support your sentiment 100%, it is ridiculous. I only bought them because I am lazy and had expendable plat, not because I genuinely thought it'd be this ridiculously low drop tables. This needs to change.
The melee arcanes you can buy from bird 3 shouldn't be in the reward pool for netracell missions. You only get 5 tries a week, it's just an unnecessary grind and making the price be insane in the market.
Exactly! I dont want cheap, easy to get iems as my only 5 times a week reward! Its so insulting that half the reward pool is uselss for something we cant even farm
In the month this update has been out I have gotten 6 adapters, 3 normal archon shards, and loads of the same rare and uncommon arcanes. It's been quite frustrating. It would be great if DE, say in the next update, remove the rare and uncommon melee arcanes and replaced them with something else more useful, considering how trivial they are to get outside of Netracells, especially with Gargoyle's cry going on and them being available for rep from the Kavia.
Always sucks to see DE artificially lengthen grinds by just adding so much filler. It's like they're afraid of people completing the content island too fast but they don't know how to make anything other than content islands
@@maskettaman1488 every expansion update is going to be like this, new place, new game modes, new rewards, saying "content island" is not a good enough critique, at least netracells have some longevity, plus arcane gambling for melee arcanes is coming probably with an echos update, so they only care about keeping people playing when a new update just released what DE is failing at is not using these newer locations and game modes in the currently established star chart modes, like no steel path incursions on the zariman and others, no new sorties with these new tiles and modes, no new arbitration or sanctuary maps, not using the sentient tileset outside of railjack and one kahl mission even though they could plop some archon hunts in there too

That would be like claiming that calling Warframe a videogame is just a "critique" lol The fact that none of the modes or mechanics they've added integrate in to the core game is literally because they built it to be a content island. You go to the island to do the island mechanics to get island standing to buy rewards. That is the ONLY way they know how to add content any more and it's making the game less and less enjoyable

"Content island" usually means that the rewards you get within the content island only help you do better within the content island of missions/play, thus you have no reason the play the island outside doing better in the island itself. Classic examples are new MMO raids or areas that introduce a special damage type or mechanic that only exists within the raid or area, and whose rewards have special protection against exactly those issues. Sometimes the "reason" for doing things this way is given by the devs as "wanting to give veteran players something to do while not wanting beginner players to feel they NEED the new rewards". etc. With shards, legendary melee arcanes, and melee arcane adaptors in netracells, all of which help to advance the play in literally the entire rest of the game this is literally NOT a content island by its conventional definition. You seem to be complaining that it is another area where you get standing in a new faction. What exactly do you want? Can you give a specific example of how you would do it better? I could go for something different too, especially where the majority of the exp is not tied up in a pure easter egg hunt designed to level the time it takes for everyone. This is the second new area where hunting for easter eggs (in this case voca) is very prominent. I don't hate it as much as some people, but I would hate it if they always do that. They have to realize that choice sets the type of gameplay - optimizing for finding the do-dads - just as much as "mission types".
I have no idea why the legendary arcanes don't also have a chance to drop from the 60 eye fragmented one; if not from both versions, at least the steel path version. It makes no sense that the hardest thing in Warframe only has a cosmetic as a unique item in its drop table.
To be fair, every single time they locked powerfull items behind actually challenging content, a good chunk of the playerbase starts reeing about how unfair it is

No, hardest thing in Warframe having only a cosmetic as a reward is finally warframe having endgame. Let us have content that is NOT SUPPOSED TO BE FARMED. Just work towards achieving it. Do it once, get reward and bragging rights, move on. Not everything has to be a farm.
@@gallonofcats1097 Have you never played a looter before? Even raids etc. are replayable for rewards without that, there is no reason to do it. Putting extra resources into something that is only worth completing once is just silly. On top of all of that, its a pretty ugly cosmetic.
Until people realize that these are nowhere near as useful as energize and the demand peters out. AE is still useful to this day despite how much easier energy is to come by.
The non-legendary arcanes really shouldn't be available as a reward for the netracell, given the fact they're bought with standing, as well as dropped from both the new murmur boss and the whisper miniboss. Also-- a really poor oversight on DE's part (unsurprisingly really), but if you've already done the 5 for the week, and then decide to help a friend (found this out during the first week, since I did them solo the day of release, then helped a friend on friday do his), and you decide to kill the whisper as well? Well you just straight up won't get any reward. Even for the whisper being killed.
The drop tables that came with the newest updates are completely out of line. Netracells giving Arcanes that you can buy with standing are a complete joke. There is nothing more demotivating than spending over an hour doing your weekly five Netras (thanks for "fixing" Steel Path without bumping up the spawn rates, DE) and not even getting a single shard or even a legendary Arcane. It really is two steps forward, one step back with DE.
Agreed, everyone is fawning over this update but the drop rates on everything are just awful. Bounty rewards are shit, Netracells give out basic enemy drops, and they aren't even telling us the arcane dissolution rates.
Completely agree on demotivating part. 2 weeks in a row i've gotten 1 adapter, 1 archon shard and 3 normal arcanes i could buy with rep, or get from any other mission with grimoire on it. Things that should not even be on the droptable tbh.
Droprates in missions and netracells are awefull. And it baffels me they didn't up the droptabels SP nodes ATLEAST? They did it with the Voruna and Citrine update, so why not on these nodes?
@@Daniel._.. my biggest complaint is how they handled the new archon shard buffs. It would’ve been great if they had explained how the archon shards worked in the patch notes. Just tell us that the topaz shards are supposed to be multiplicative instead of letting the community spread misinformation after saying that the shard has been fixed when it’s still broken.
Knowing DE they will be making the legendary melee arcanes easier to obtain as such I kept one copy of each and have been selling the rest for big plat numbers. Worst case I can buy them back when the price drops in a year.
They said that they refrained from adding the new arcanes in Loid's shop because otherwise people with many duplicates would just dump them and roll for the new arcanes on day 1. I'm pretty sure they will add the new melee arcanes as an option in Loid's shop in the future.
Something important to mention before you break your bank for legendary melee arcanes: the Cavia arcanes will be getting a pack at a later date. Pablo said as much in the devatream before Whispers, logic being that they didn’t want arcane hoarders to clean house and not have to play the new content for the arcanes. TLDR: don’t feel bad, arcane dissolution will save us

Same way DE said they'd "pause" decreasing riven disposition to the new incarnon adapter weapons and would reconsider on Grendel prime release, only to come with the excuse that none of the new incarnons are "meta-defining" (one quick glance at torid incarnon tells you otherwise). Needless to say that the rivens for those weapons still go for high amounts of platinum, I wonder if these 2 things have any connection... I wouldn't trust what they say until it happens.
@TheTundraTerror Because the plat that people spend on mods, goes directly back to the source, being DE. Same with those stupid plat > credit bundles, and the mod/relic packs, or god forbid, the awful exchange rate for endo packs in the marketplace. Arcanes aren't ever for sale in the marketplace. Ever notice how greater focus lens items aren't tradeable anymore? Only way you can get those (without crafting them or getting them through bounties) is from the marketplace now, and extremely overpriced too.
DE could solve a lot of the RNG issue by removing the non legendary arcanes from the netracell loot pool and either increasing the drop chances of duplicate and crescendo or adding other rare items to the drops.
Just want to say that you're my favorite warframe youtuber. Your information, and presentation of said information are top notch, and I appreciate your balanced opinions.
I can accept the adapters since they are exclusive outside the shop (that I know of), but as someone who's basically soloing Gargoyle's Cry, it feels really bad to get uncommon and rare arcanes after my 2-hour weekend binges of the boss. Even a vosphor cache to replace the arcanes would feel better.
For me, the issue would be solved, if DE would change the drop table in the following way: 1. Remove all non-legendary Arcanes 2. Up the percentages for all remaining items accordingly. Nothing more needed. Everything but the trivial Arcanes is fine. I am happy with what I get and can truly enjoy this mission every week. I have real progression to look forward to and would be 100% content.
Ran every Netracell since it came out. Only had ONE melee duplicate drop.. not even a crescendo.. drop rates are wicked. So from my RNG it would take approximately two years to max out melee duplicate. They should also take out any arcane we can get from Assasination...
i had run it same amount of time and got 2 duplicates and 1 crescendo at the end of the day is just numbers it can go either way , besides is not like they are that op they average if anything
Good thing neither of the Legendaries really seem to hold up to scrutiny. Duplicate has a very niche restriction on it, leaving it very awkward other then for maybe a half dozen particular gimmicks. Crescendo holds up a bit better, but is also tedious to actually build up. Probably only really shiny for people trying to level cap with pseudo-exalteds (all of whom then have to sac a helminth slot or do specific operator stuff to reliably build it up). Even moreso with Tennokai being added at the same time, so poeple doing combo-building heavy attack builds would be more likely to use the TK proc to just not spend the combo then wait 6 seconds for initial combo to recharge itself. For more regular use, Exposure is just well, a free 240% damage mod with a quality element in itself, a bonus for condition overload, and won't mix into your other mods.
The limit should be removed. Personally, i want to run netracells because they are fun for me. I like playing the 'harder' content and would love to see more added in the future. It sucks that we only get 5 chances. Why run the mission if there arent any rewards, right? Its a shame some of the best content gets reduced to 5 and done.
DE is scared that people will stop playing their newest content island too soon so they artificially make it take longer with things like filler drops and limiting how much you can actually play. It is 100% anti-player and exists only to make their engagement metrics look good
@maskettaman1488 it's silly. I would farm for shards for everyone. If they just gave us drops, it wouldn't shatter the economy or anything. It would give more for players to do. There’s 3 different looks for the main cell itself, the chest and jar gives you archon shards or common arcanes but the third one give you arcane like crescendo and duplicate
This is the sort of data that needs to be forwarded to Megan and Pablo. As always, the Kengineer delivers the information and shows us why the drop tables are pobber poop. I see no reason why the arcanes in Bird 3's shop are also in the Book Boss nectracell tables. Obnoxious roulette wheels like these are exactly why I can be found on (Apollo, Lua) and killing one demolisher per round. Keep the hits coming, Kenny. 🤔👌
To put in perspective, i have played around 250 times effervo due to gargoyles cry, in *250* runs and over 15 netracell runs i have only gotten 2 duplicate and 1 crescendo. I even got 3 tauforged but legendary arcanes are just insanely rare
I personally don’t care about the new legendary arcanes. Duplicate is too niche and crescendo is a bit too tedious. Whenever I get one I just immediately pawn it off in trade chat for free 100 plat.
honestly: My big issue is that: 5 runs PER WEEK with high odds of getting things you don't want (E.g. archon shards when you want the unique arcanes or arcanes when you want the shards) IMO here is what I'd prefer: Option A (preferable imo): No cap Reasoning: - The cap makes it so there is a static chance per week to get what you want. You can't just grind MORE if you want something specific. - It gives lategame players something to grind when they have completed everything else - it feels terrible to get a "junk item" (aka something you don't need) from something on a timelimit (Given, you feel like you missed out) Notes: - maybe add even more stuff to the loot-pool to balance it out e.g. rivens, umbra forma blueprint, all of the arcanes from other areas, steel essence? and to make it more of an infinite grind for "rare stuff" rather than it being for specific items - An endless grind aka "an end-game" is something people have been asking for for...well forever and this seems like a perfect start. Maybe add some more missions with the same loot-pool/level for each enemy faction for variety and we might finally have the coveted "end-game" (IMO) Option B: Remove the common arcanes from the lootpool Reasoning - Realistically, you aren't running a WEEKLY mission for items you can just buy from a vendor for a fraction of the effort - common arcanes (Regardless of quality) feel a bit insulting to get at this level of content. Option C: Implement a Pity system (E.g. "necracells") that you can but items from the loot-pool with Reasoning: - I think RNG + WEEKLY content is just a bad mix and a recipe for something that isn't enjoyable for many players, sure some will get lucky but if you don't it can really ruin the experience. This ensures there is at least some guarantee of value to players with bad luck - Allows players some freedom with their rewards
When you run them so many times and are so used to not getting tau forged and then you check archon shards and a tauforged made its way into your inventory
DE should perhaps add the option to ask Tagfer to "search for netracells" containing a specific type of loot with a cost in resources like an archon shard or "arcane dust" and echo vocas, to tamper with the next week's loot able making it favour your choice, a sort of upfront pity system, to reduce these insane estimates. Making the boss fight have a chance to drop the legendary arcanes or at least the steel path boss only would also be nice.
@@TheMrAlan44 the chance to get one is 5,6% so the chance to not get one is 94,4%. You have 5 tries per week to get the arcane, so you need to multiply the chance to not get it 5 times: 0.944*0.944*0.944.... so after 5 tries you have 74.9% to not get it, which also means you have 25.1% to get it. On average you would get it every 4th time and you have 4 weeks in month, so 1 every month.
Things have gotten a bit better now with the 4:1 tauforged conversion coming with the next update, but the legendary arcanes are a big bruh moment still

The second week of Netracells being available I used up all of my luck at once and got a Tauforged Blue from the Archon Hunt, and 2 Tau Reds, 1 Tau Amber and 1 Blue, and then a melee Duplicate Since then I usually only manage to get at least 1 Tau
I'm actually not bothered by these drop rates as much as I might have been in previous updates. Provided that DE follows through with adding these new arcanes to the dissolution system in a timely manner. I'm just going to break down the ones I don't need and continually reroll that until I get what I want. And I can also dump my rep into that system as well. It's not ideal but it does mitigate this issue a little bit
Except people can go weeks with only obtaining normal arcanes that are easily farmed or bought and dissolution is not a good enough excuse to provide those arcanes.
Pablo has specifically said he doesn't want to make 60 eyes a viable farm for anything. It's supposed to be optional content to challenge the 'sweatiest' players.

in my first 10 netra cells, i've gotten 2 tauforged amber 1 tauforged red, and one normal red, 2 melee duplicates, and so on in adapters and other various mods..
For doing this netracells mission for the start of the update i havent even gotten a shard , its just common melee arcane and melee adapter. So expectations are very low
I’ve gotten 4 melee duplicates already & 4 Tauforged red shards & I want the Tauforged Blue shards lol but drop tables feel alright since I haven’t gotten any blue ones lol
how about this implementation : >> you will always get at least a normal shard common a new Ayatan scultpure around 8k Endo of worth plus a normal Shard uncommon 1 of 2 new Legendary Arcanes plus a normal Shard rare Tauforged Shard plus a normal Shard legendary new Tauforged Shard plus a normal Shard As you see you will get in any case at least a normal Shard and thats way better than it is at the moment . With bad RNG you might get nothing, really nothing you care for, for a whole week . This way you will have at least 5 normal shards guaranteed and that is the idea or should have been from the start. Dont mess around DE, for once.
okay as someone how got 3 red shards *as a gauss* one of them being the upgrated rare in the FIRST week coming back to it i was thinking i was unlucky that out the 6 chances i had i only got 3
What I'm hearing is that I should _immediately_ sell any of the Legendary Arcane drops I get before this gets "updated" in the future. I'm gonna be swimming in Plat!
I think all they really need to do is remove all the standing cost arcanes. The 30 some percent chance to drop these arcanes should be split between the archon shards and legendary arcanes. The melee arcane adapter is 50k and so pretty worth it, I don't mind this, but this should remain the same drop rate. Then you have archon shards and the 2 legendary arcanes making up 80% drop chance between them. Currently just over a third of the time you get essentially junk, that you can trivially farm for elsewhere or buy with a minimal standing cost.
I just got back into warframe after about 2-3+ years because of cross save and I caught up on all the story and all the stuff I want is gated weekly I want to start ramping up my builds but because I’ve only had access to for two weeks I have 4 archon shards. I don’t mind low rates but at least let me farm them you know.
I guess I’m just lucky, after around 10 runs I landed one of each legendary which doesn’t feel right in terms of variance it’s possible that there’s a certain amount of bad luck protection maybe
how many missions would it take to get a single shard on average? the statistic of missions/year feels almost little useless to me since I only play every once in a while
The legendary arcanes are insane. The absolute MINIMUM time required to max rank one of them is a whopping 5 WEEKS if you get it as the reward from all 5 cells for the week (not happening)
2 commom archon shards, 4 melee adapters, none plat arcane and lots of garbage arcanes since netracells dropped. Yeah, maybe more like 10 years for me.
I was wondering about why DE haven't released something for melee multi hit after duviri update, then they did release the arcane on this update which is a good thing, but then the arcane drop rate itself is way worse than energize, which is I always love grinding in warframe after I came back playing back at 2020 after hiatus for 3 years because of u know back then so many stuff r kinda need a long time grind to get them, but then they fixed those things, now... it back to that state again, which is makes me doesn't even care to play anymore after a couple of weeks of trying ti grind that arcane sure we got other things while grinding for *_JUST_* that 1 arcane, but if that 1 arcane itself is almost impossible to drop, what's the point? it's like searching for a needle in a stack of a haystack, but in this case the stack is as huge as The Void *_Legendary_* tier arcane, drop almost impossible, n we need 21 of them? what a joke, well good thing I also play other MMORPG, so I can just ditch warframe again, n go hiatus again well... suit the name, Legendary which is almost impossible to get, tbh I never ever thought about buying something from another player as my 1st resort, which is ofc because it feels like p2w, but now I kinda change my mind for how to actually get that Melee Duplicate Arcane, buy from the lucky ones who doesn't care about the arcane itself
I feel the melee arcanes it drops from netracell should be limited to melee crecendo and the other rare one if they're gonna keep them in because the rest you literally get from multiple other game modes and can outright buy right now
its been confirmed that cavia arcane are getting added to the arcane gatcha machine eventually, though its unclear when exactly that will be, if its going to be in 6 months or 2 years, who can say.
I did the archon hunt this week and i got a tauforged amber (20%) , then i did two netracels and i got 2 tauforged amber, what are the chances of this happening again?
You forgot go mention the arcane adapter which also can be bought, I have 4 of them now.... Drops so far: 1 tau, 1 adapter, 1 leg. arcane, 2 shards, the rest were melee arcane I already have R5 of, so .... my RNG is not good.
Ok am à compagny i put out new content with a HUGE influx of players constantly doing the new thing. What do i do. Give good drop chances so everyone Burnside out doing that one thing, or do i give medium to low chances so i can adjust later on, making sure not all players dropped the hot new thing and leaving right after. Its going to get better give it time.
they should just let you combine regular shards to make a tau, i have about 30 tau and 110 regular shards ive beengrinding since archon shards came out probably after about 2 years they will make it easier to get or just add it to the packs for vosphor
Honestly... I really don't mind netracells. It's very easy missions for some loot that is somewhat high in demand and useful. Unlike other missions this is a breeze to do and loop is pretty much secondary to me there :D Happy to get every melee duplicate tho as it still sells pretty well currently

No, hardest thing in Warframe having only a cosmetic as a reward is finally warframe having endgame. Let us have content that is NOT SUPPOSED TO BE FARMED. Just work towards achieving it. Do it once, get reward and bragging rights, move on.

@@gallonofcats1097 Have you never played a looter before? Even raids etc. are replayable for rewards without that, there is no reason to do it. Putting extra resources into something that is only worth completing once is just silly. On top of all of that, its a pretty ugly cosmetic.
Crescendo/Duplicate could be the "new" Energize/Grace
out of both of them only Crescendo is better one unless if DE let Duplicate to affect Super Critical damage/red crit damage.

The non-legendary arcanes really shouldn't be available as a reward for the netracell, given the fact they're bought with standing, as well as dropped from both the new murmur boss and the whisper miniboss. Also-- a really poor oversight on DE's part (unsurprisingly really), but if you've already done the 5 for the week, and then decide to help a friend (found this out during the first week, since I did them solo the day of release, then helped a friend on friday do his), and you decide to kill the whisper as well? Well you just straight up won't get any reward. Even for the whisper being killed.

The drop tables that came with the newest updates are completely out of line. Netracells giving Arcanes that you can buy with standing are a complete joke. There is nothing more demotivating than spending over an hour doing your weekly five Netras (thanks for "fixing" Steel Path without bumping up the spawn rates, DE) and not even getting a single shard or even a legendary Arcane. It really is two steps forward, one step back with DE.
Agreed, everyone is fawning over this update but the drop rates on everything are just awful. Bounty rewards are shit, Netracells give out basic enemy drops, and they aren't even telling us the arcane dissolution rates.
NGL the only compliant I have for the update is the drop table for this mission, the shite arcanes don't belong there
Completely agree on demotivating part. 2 weeks in a row i've gotten 1 adapter, 1 archon shard and 3 normal arcanes i could buy with rep, or get from any other mission with grimoire on it. Things that should not even be on the droptable tbh.
Droprates in missions and netracells are awefull. And it baffels me they didn't up the droptabels SP nodes ATLEAST? They did it with the Voruna and Citrine update, so why not on these nodes?
@@Daniel._.. my biggest complaint is how they handled the new archon shard buffs. It would’ve been great if they had explained how the archon shards worked in the patch notes. Just tell us that the topaz shards are supposed to be multiplicative instead of letting the community spread misinformation after saying that the shard has been fixed when it’s still broken.
Knowing DE they will be making the legendary melee arcanes easier to obtain as such I kept one copy of each and have been selling the rest for big plat numbers. Worst case I can buy them back when the price drops in a year.
They said that they refrained from adding the new arcanes in Loid's shop because otherwise people with many duplicates would just dump them and roll for the new arcanes on day 1. I'm pretty sure they will add the new melee arcanes as an option in Loid's shop in the future.

Something important to mention before you break your bank for legendary melee arcanes: the Cavia arcanes will be getting a pack at a later date. Pablo said as much in the devatream before Whispers, logic being that they didn’t want arcane hoarders to clean house and not have to play the new content for the arcanes.

They literally allow people to buy all the new Tennokai and Tomb mods for plat but they're worried about people being able to get Legendary melee Arcanes? Okay.
Same way DE said they'd "pause" decreasing riven disposition to the new incarnon adapter weapons and would reconsider on Grendel prime release, only to come with the excuse that none of the new incarnons are "meta-defining" (one quick glance at torid incarnon tells you otherwise).
Needless to say that the rivens for those weapons still go for high amounts of platinum, I wonder if these 2 things have any connection...

@TheTundraTerror Because the plat that people spend on mods, goes directly back to the source, being DE. Same with those stupid plat > credit bundles, and the mod/relic packs, or god forbid, the awful exchange rate for endo packs in the marketplace. Arcanes aren't ever for sale in the marketplace. Ever notice how greater focus lens items aren't tradeable anymore? Only way you can get those (without crafting them or getting them through bounties) is from the marketplace now, and extremely overpriced too.

DE could solve a lot of the RNG issue by removing the non legendary arcanes from the netracell loot pool and either increasing the drop chances of duplicate and crescendo or adding other rare items to the drops.
We may have arcane dissolution now, but I expect DE will still improve the drop chances for the legendary melee arcanes

This is assuming you don't get a bug where the Necramite doesn't spawn or spawns but can't be destroyed
Or that the waypoint for it doesn't trigger and it spawns 600 meters from your current position. That was not fun...
I can accept the adapters since they are exclusive outside the shop (that I know of), but as someone who's basically soloing Gargoyle's Cry, it feels really bad to get uncommon and rare arcanes after my 2-hour weekend binges of the boss. Even a vosphor cache to replace the arcanes would feel better.
For me, the issue would be solved, if DE would change the drop table in the following way:
1. Remove all non-legendary Arcanes
2. Up the percentages for all remaining items accordingly.
Nothing more needed. Everything but the trivial Arcanes is fine. I am happy with what I get and can truly enjoy this mission every week.
I have real progression to look forward to and would be 100% content.
Probably be way better if the rare arcanes got out of the drop table and the legendary arcanes had a higher chance.
I've done every netracell possible up to now and not gotten a single shard only the arcane adapter and bottom tier arcanes

Ran every Netracell since it came out. Only had ONE melee duplicate drop.. not even a crescendo.. drop rates are wicked. So from my RNG it would take approximately two years to max out melee duplicate. They should also take out any arcane we can get from Assasination...
i had run it same amount of time and got 2 duplicates and 1 crescendo at the end of the day is just numbers it can go either way , besides is not like they are that op they average if anything
Good thing neither of the Legendaries really seem to hold up to scrutiny.
Duplicate has a very niche restriction on it, leaving it very awkward other then for maybe a half dozen particular gimmicks.
Crescendo holds up a bit better, but is also tedious to actually build up. Probably only really shiny for people trying to level cap with pseudo-exalteds (all of whom then have to sac a helminth slot or do specific operator stuff to reliably build it up). Even moreso with Tennokai being added at the same time, so poeple doing combo-building heavy attack builds would be more likely to use the TK proc to just not spend the combo then wait 6 seconds for initial combo to recharge itself.
For more regular use, Exposure is just well, a free 240% damage mod with a quality element in itself, a bonus for condition overload, and won't mix into your other mods.

The limit should be removed. Personally, i want to run netracells because they are fun for me. I like playing the 'harder' content and would love to see more added in the future. It sucks that we only get 5 chances. Why run the mission if there arent any rewards, right? Its a shame some of the best content gets reduced to 5 and done.
DE is scared that people will stop playing their newest content island too soon so they artificially make it take longer with things like filler drops and limiting how much you can actually play. It is 100% anti-player and exists only to make their engagement metrics look good

In the month since the update, ive gotten 1 Crescendo and 1 Duplicate
There’s 3 different looks for the main cell itself, the chest and jar gives you archon shards or common arcanes but the third one give you arcane like crescendo and duplicate
This is the sort of data that needs to be forwarded to Megan and Pablo. As always, the Kengineer delivers the information and shows us why the drop tables are pobber poop. I see no reason why the arcanes in Bird 3's shop are also in the Book Boss nectracell tables. Obnoxious roulette wheels like these are exactly why I can be found on (Apollo, Lua) and killing one demolisher per round.

To put in perspective, i have played around 250 times effervo due to gargoyles cry, in *250* runs and over 15 netracell runs i have only gotten 2 duplicate and 1 crescendo. I even got 3 tauforged but legendary arcanes are just insanely rare
I personally don’t care about the new legendary arcanes. Duplicate is too niche and crescendo is a bit too tedious. Whenever I get one I just immediately pawn it off in trade chat for free 100 plat.
Go higher next time. Can easily get 130 minimum for them

My big issue is that:
5 runs PER WEEK
with high odds of getting things you don't want (E.g. archon shards when you want the unique arcanes or arcanes when you want the shards)
IMO here is what I'd prefer:
Option A (preferable imo):
No cap
Reasoning:
- The cap makes it so there is a static chance per week to get what you want. You can't just grind MORE if you want something specific.
- It gives lategame players something to grind when they have completed everything else
- it feels terrible to get a "junk item" (aka something you don't need) from something on a timelimit (Given, you feel like you missed out)
Notes:
- maybe add even more stuff to the loot-pool to balance it out e.g. rivens, umbra forma blueprint, all of the arcanes from other areas, steel essence? and to make it more of an infinite grind for "rare stuff" rather than it being for specific items
- An endless grind aka "an end-game" is something people have been asking for for...well forever and this seems like a perfect start. Maybe add some more missions with the same loot-pool/level for each enemy faction for variety and we might finally have the coveted "end-game" (IMO)
Option B:
Remove the common arcanes from the lootpool
Reasoning
- Realistically, you aren't running a WEEKLY mission for items you can just buy from a vendor for a fraction of the effort
- common arcanes (Regardless of quality) feel a bit insulting to get at this level of content.
Option C:
Implement a Pity system (E.g. "necracells") that you can but items from the loot-pool with
Reasoning:
- I think RNG + WEEKLY content is just a bad mix and a recipe for something that isn't enjoyable for many players, sure some will get lucky but if you don't it can really ruin the experience. This ensures there is at least some guarantee of value to players with bad luck
- Allows players some freedom with their rewards
When you run them so many times and are so used to not getting tau forged and then you check archon shards and a tauforged made its way into your inventory
DE should perhaps add the option to ask Tagfer to "search for netracells" containing a specific type of loot with a cost in resources like an archon shard or "arcane dust" and echo vocas, to tamper with the next week's loot able making it favour your choice, a sort of upfront pity system, to reduce these insane estimates. Making the boss fight have a chance to drop the legendary arcanes or at least the steel path boss only would also be nice.

I’ve done every single netracell so far since release, and I still have not gotten a single Melee Crescendo drop.
You have about 25,1% chance per week to get 1 melee crescendo. So on average every month you get one.
How did you obtain 25.1% ? Would be curious to see the calculation
@@TheMrAlan44 the chance to get one is 5,6% so the chance to not get one is 94,4%. You have 5 tries per week to get the arcane, so you need to multiply the chance to not get it 5 times: 0.944*0.944*0.944.... so after 5 tries you have 74.9% to not get it, which also means you have 25.1% to get it. On average you would get it every 4th time and you have 4 weeks in month, so 1 every month.

I got a crazy run this week with 2 Tau and 2 normal shards.
Yo seeing that it’s 2.5% means I got crazy lucky getting 2/5 tauforged archon shards this week
The second week of Netracells being available I used up all of my luck at once and got a Tauforged Blue from the Archon Hunt, and 2 Tau Reds, 1 Tau Amber and 1 Blue, and then a melee Duplicate
Since then I usually only manage to get at least 1 Tau
I'm actually not bothered by these drop rates as much as I might have been in previous updates. Provided that DE follows through with adding these new arcanes to the dissolution system in a timely manner. I'm just going to break down the ones I don't need and continually reroll that until I get what I want. And I can also dump my rep into that system as well. It's not ideal but it does mitigate this issue a little bit
Except people can go weeks with only obtaining normal arcanes that are easily farmed or bought and dissolution is not a good enough excuse to provide those arcanes.
Then why there is some people already sell full rank Melee crescendo just weeks after this new update?

Pablo has specifically said he doesn't want to make 60 eyes a viable farm for anything. It's supposed to be optional content to challenge the 'sweatiest' players.

Got three melee arcanes today. No shards but one crecendo and Duplicate.
The Silver and Gold Melee Arcanes have no right whatsoever being in the lootpool.
But how else will DE stretch out a half-assed update if not for filler drops and artificial play caps?

in my first 10 netra cells, i've gotten 2 tauforged amber 1 tauforged red, and one normal red, 2 melee duplicates, and so on in adapters and other various mods..
Its kinda annoying that it says that archon shards are the common drop but Ive gotten 6 melee adapters in 10 runs with not a single archon shard

uncommon 1 of 2 new Legendary Arcanes plus a normal Shard
rare Tauforged Shard plus a normal Shard

As you see you will get in any case at least a normal Shard and thats way better than it is at the moment . With bad RNG you might get nothing, really nothing you care for, for a whole week . This way you will have at least 5 normal shards guaranteed and that is the idea or should have been from the start. Dont mess around DE, for once.
okay as someone how got 3 red shards *as a gauss* one of them being the upgrated rare in the FIRST week coming back to it i was thinking i was unlucky that out the 6 chances i had i only got 3
Could a possible solution be each curse you hold is 1 reward? I usually solo these and run all 4 by necessity
The drop chance/rate of everything in Warframe needs to be doubled then it would be reasonable.
What I'm hearing is that I should _immediately_ sell any of the Legendary Arcane drops I get before this gets "updated" in the future. I'm gonna be swimming in Plat!
In 10 runs i got 6 arcanes 2 bugs that canceled the run and 2 archon shards
I think all they really need to do is remove all the standing cost arcanes. The 30 some percent chance to drop these arcanes should be split between the archon shards and legendary arcanes.
The melee arcane adapter is 50k and so pretty worth it, I don't mind this, but this should remain the same drop rate.
Then you have archon shards and the 2 legendary arcanes making up 80% drop chance between them.
Currently just over a third of the time you get essentially junk, that you can trivially farm for elsewhere or buy with a minimal standing cost.
I just got back into warframe after about 2-3+ years because of cross save and I caught up on all the story and all the stuff I want is gated weekly I want to start ramping up my builds but because I’ve only had access to for two weeks I have 4 archon shards. I don’t mind low rates but at least let me farm them you know.
I got 4 melee duplicate in 1st and 2nd week, but no crescendo
I guess I’m just lucky, after around 10 runs I landed one of each legendary which doesn’t feel right in terms of variance it’s possible that there’s a certain amount of bad luck protection maybe
Out of 15 missions i got 1 tao shard ans 2 normal, the rest were mostly arcanes
how many missions would it take to get a single shard on average?
the statistic of missions/year feels almost little useless to me since I only play every once in a while

My first 5 netracells dropped 1 melee duplicate, 2 crimson archon shards and 2 of something so useless I forgot them already

The fact that they have all the normal farmable arcanes in the netracell drop table is insane. Makes the run not even worth the effort if you get one.
The legendary arcanes are insane. The absolute MINIMUM time required to max rank one of them is a whopping 5 WEEKS if you get it as the reward from all 5 cells for the week (not happening)

I was wondering about why DE haven't released something for melee multi hit after duviri update, then they did release the arcane on this update which is a good thing, but then the arcane drop rate itself is way worse than energize, which is I always love grinding in warframe after I came back playing back at 2020 after hiatus for 3 years because of u know back then so many stuff r kinda need a long time grind to get them, but then they fixed those things, now... it back to that state again, which is makes me doesn't even care to play anymore after a couple of weeks of trying ti grind that arcane
sure we got other things while grinding for *_JUST_* that 1 arcane, but if that 1 arcane itself is almost impossible to drop, what's the point? it's like searching for a needle in a stack of a haystack, but in this case the stack is as huge as The Void

I feel the melee arcanes it drops from netracell should be limited to melee crecendo and the other rare one if they're gonna keep them in because the rest you literally get from multiple other game modes and can outright buy right now
its been confirmed that cavia arcane are getting added to the arcane gatcha machine eventually, though its unclear when exactly that will be, if its going to be in 6 months or 2 years, who can say.
That will atleast take six or more months. It will probably happen when the next bigger content expansion drops that includes more new arcanes.
Eventually, these rare arcanes will drop from Vosfor packs. Keeping the good stuff rare when a new area opens is common.

You forgot go mention the arcane adapter which also can be bought, I have 4 of them now.... Drops so far: 1 tau, 1 adapter, 1 leg. arcane, 2 shards, the rest were melee arcane I already have R5 of, so .... my RNG is not good.
Ok am à compagny i put out new content with a HUGE influx of players constantly doing the new thing. What do i do. Give good drop chances so everyone Burnside out doing that one thing, or do i give medium to low chances so i can adjust later on, making sure not all players dropped the hot new thing and leaving right after.
Its going to get better give it time.
they should just let you combine regular shards to make a tau, i have about 30 tau and 110 regular shards ive beengrinding since archon shards came out probably after about 2 years they will make it easier to get or just add it to the packs for vosphor

Honestly... I really don't mind netracells. It's very easy missions for some loot that is somewhat high in demand and useful. Unlike other missions this is a breeze to do and loop is pretty much secondary to me there :D Happy to get every melee duplicate tho as it still sells pretty well currently
After 3 weeks of doing all the netracells (haven't finished this weeks set), I have 1 super rare arcane. So only 41 to go.
The basic melee arcanes being in the drop table was a mistake, in my opinion.
