Absolutely. Always laugh when I see content creators or people on Reddit say this can't be done with pubs. I've done the Elite version with pubs every week so far with no problems (outside of the first couple hours after it came out, when people were still gauging how it all worked: mostly too many newbies that didn't realize the immortal liminus would kill them so fast)
It's all luck based. There's a lot of people in public who just expect to get carried. Reminds me of the one time I went into an eidolon hunt in public. Somebody was frost, for some fucked up reason. So I'd rather do it solo, or with friends I know can do well on their own, than have to babysit.
Another tip: There are no restrictions for companions, so you are free to bring your favorite/best companion. For me, I usually run a sentinel with Duplex Bond and Verglas with Shivering Contagion. The extra crowd control really helps me with survivability and Mirror Defense. EDIT: I also run Sacrifice on the sentinel just in case. It actually saved my runs a few times.
A little tip for Mirror Defense: If you spawn the Necramech eximus within the last 5-10 seconds of the round, its spawn animation will eat up all the time left in the round, and it'll die during the transition to the next wave without you having to do anything. The next wave will then start with 1:45 on the timer, and you can repeat this at the end of rounds 2 and 3. Then you can challenge the one on the last round normally Likely a bug, will probably get patched, but a really useful tip to shave that time off even if your squad isn't necessarily capable of defeating the mechs normally
I think it's good to encourage players to experiment and learn how to to use various weapons in the game instead of the same 4 ones your most comfortable with. It also means the more weapons/Warframes you master (as in learn how to properly mod and use them) the better your chances are of getting a 'good' Loadout in Archimedea or Duviri.
@@undisabled1552 Not a great solution, now if you wanted to try more challenges you can't. You unlocked elite DA? Well, play it next week. Everyone will be pressed to try it with all the challenges, or not do it at all. It will be frustrating because you don't want to underevaluate your own capacity or you won't get another shot. If they did that the unhappiness from the community wouldn't be worth it.
When I was a wee baby Tenno, the year's anniversary alerts were running, one with a Melee Only modifier. This immediately introduced me to the variety of ways people would bypass such modifiers, if they didn't feel like not having guns: Wuclone, Xaku, gunblades, archguns, even a two-man Vauban blender. That's when I understood that Warframe at its best isn't a shooter, it's a very convoluted problem solving simulator The challenges set by Deep Archimedea take that problem solving to the next level Very informative video as always
7:50 Elite crew members have a trait where killing an enemy heals all nearby allies by 500 over 10 seconds, which includes the defense objective. Not a lot, but it's something. Also, these on call crew members seems to bypass some damage restriction on the enemies, I give them Kuva Zarr, and it hits those Necramechs pretty hard. If the mission didn't restrict your item wheel, they'll make your run easier.
Back when we had the event in which we could fight the wolf of saturn six over and over again for free, I gave my crewmate a kuva zarr, flew to his spawn as fast as possible with wukong and just watched as my buddy 2 shot him. When I tried using the same zarr build myself, it just sucked. I farmed a bunch of sets of his hammer.
One thing Ken neglected to mention: Your equipped Heavy Weapon (aka Archgun with gravmag) IS deployable in Deep Archimedea and AFAIK there's no variable restricting their use. very useful info to have if you got stuck with a crappy loadout
One thing you kind of glossed over is that archguns are not considered for the gear selection either, so if the transference restriction is in play you still have access to a fairly strong heavy hitter in case your other weapons are weak and not built out. As long as the double whammy of no operator or gear wheel items are not on there's no reason to not have a competent weapon available for at least a significant amount of each mission.
I think the best tip i can offer for public matchmakers is always assume you have to do everything yourself. This means if you see revenant in your selection but theres a mirror defense in the missions, pick the CC warframe instead. If your the only CC player then you picked well, if someone else also picked a CC then you just win more. Every warframe these days can survive and deal big damage, selecting warframes that do only these things in public matchmaking is almost always being a detriment to the squad
Another damage source worth discussing--your sentinel. Verglas is a reasonable heat-stacker, and adding Fired Up to your sentinel config gives it an extra heat mod. It's enough to whittle down enemies passively, even if your guns are poor, and can make up for bad weapon choices.
I failed my first elite archimidea this week because of it. Our khora went down because of them. Then i tried tanking them for long enough to get the revive off, but i failed
Fortunately they are vulnerable to some CC. Limbo Stasis trivialised it last week; and this week I found out that Creeping Terrify's 80% slow applies to them, which is great because it's Nekros' Helminth subsumed so you can put it on any frame, and get a pretty good Armour strip to boot
They should at least get a hard-core nerf to their immunities. I hate how last week when I got Khora as a choice that even when I passed on the "-75% ability duration" debuff that I used Khora's Ensnare (one of very few crowd control abilities that works on the Liminus enemies) with about 231% ability duration, which should give Ensnare a 30-second duration, but because of how broken overpowered those things are Ensnare with a 231% ability duration only lasts 1-2 seconds on them. I get this is supposed to be end-game content, but this is just plain ridiculous and unreasonable.
Strait up lazy artificial difficulty, pre determined loadouts is more frustrating than challenging, that being said it's definitely worth doing and it's alot of fun, hope they add more content with reeards like this
Now that Chroma has had an augment mod added that really helps keep his Vex Armor up, I would love to see a breakdown of how his Vex Armor stacks up to other damage abilities, including the reworked Eclipse
Since you can skip one parameter and still get all the rewards, I think Kullervo is extremly good in these missions. Got a shit weapon/warframe choices ? Just take Kullervo with rest of parameters, take any melee weapon from the selection and mod it for heavy attack. Big damage and good survivability in one. It kinda sucks againts some enemies (murmur boss, some flying enemies), but I had a lot of succes with this in pubs. This is my go to strategy if RNG decides to give me bad options.
Baruuk is also a great "I hate all of this, just let me have one degree of freedom" pick. Requires no weapons and doesn't mind most of the debuffs. Building Dante for his book is also a pretty solid move. It'll be weaker than Kullervo or Baruuk in terms of damage output, but the support options he has can make up for that if you're in a public group.
I had Rhino, Braton, Brakk and Praedos this week, so opted to skip the abbreviated abilities modifier. He worked really rather well against the boss, despite my somewhat halfbaked build for him.
this would be a lot more fun if there were more weapons viable at high levels, right now it just feels like a lottery of if you're allowed to be helpful or if you'll need to be carried
All weapons are "viable" at high levels. Even the Cronus can kill a Rogue Necramech if you invest in it. What you meant to say is "as good as the Torid Incarnon"

As someone who doesn't want to deal with "friends", I'm just approaching Deep Archimedea as a maybe each week. If it looks like I can have a good run, I'll do it, otherwise I'll just do 5 Netracells. The only advantages of doing Deep Archimedea are that it will be faster to get a full ranked Crescendo and Duplicate and extra Archon Shards. For the first, I don't really care, I'll get them eventually. For the second, now that we can FINALLY combine shards into Tauforged (should have been in the game from the start, despite Ken's other video), I'm at the point where I don't even need the shards anymore and I'm just building up stockpiles for frames that I might eventually get to investing in.
I got octavia this week as a choice so... Basically just carried She even obliterated the assassination boss lmao Thank god no one uses her so she'll never be nerfed Edit: yes I didn't take the duration modifier 50 vosfor is actually useless when you can get hundreds from just farming void cascade and dissolving arcanes

i unlocked that last week and it was super easy. last week i had inaros and furis and jsut ran through it, this week i had only boar as usable weapon, built it up, used a revenant with tharros strike in the flex slot doe to duration decrease and it was super easy again
Every time I've tried to played this mode I've asked myself why am I even doing this I should just go play dead cells or any roguelike that actually properly does randomization. This and duviri just feels so out of place and poorly implemented for me. I'm glad they are trying something new but I hope they don't continue down this path going forward. They already had good challenging endgame mode in the past they just refused to fix the bugs or add to it.
the issue i take with the dealing with modifier section of the video where you say to use certain frames or weapons to get around them is that the mode limits what you can bring and you really only have one flex spot. this can be a problem when you have multiple bad modifiers like low duration, no operator and limited ammo.
There's actually a lot that can be done with just that one flex slot. Carrier or scavenger mods are a great tool for the ammo issues. Loss of operator can hurt if you rely on it for your energy econ, but still utilizing the passive energy cost reduction of Zenurik alongside arcane energize, arcane steadfast, energy nexus, archon stretch where applicable, or even the energy regen aura if needed can buy you just enough leeway to make it through. As for duration, that may just be what you burn the flex slot for it you rolled only frames that very much need that stat. And if you're rebuttal is "Well what if I dont have energize or steadfast? What if my build needs X or Y that the modifiers are blocking." Well then... You might not be ready for Deep Archimedia. This is a weird time as it's been commonplace that whatever new version of endgame added with every patch has been doable with a relatively non-optimized, run of the mill build that a lot of long term players just have the items for sitting around. Deep Archimedia is not that. It is supposed to be a challenge. You're suppose to have to work for it. For instance, I rolled Wisp, miter, Dual Furis, and Ruvox the week. My wisp prime is a bit under where it should be, so I couldve absolutely taken the time to put some form in to get her fully prepped. My ruvox isnt even fully evolved and I couldve finished that out. However, I specifically made the point of finally getting the miter incarnation genesis (which was an hour in duviri farming Tasoma), then put a potato and 2 forma into this gun that I hadn't touched since I got it to level 30 and promised myself I'd get around to the incarnon eventually. Even then, it still took 2 or 3 runs to complete. Yes, DA is hard and requires you to work for your build. That's the point.
@@stefanlewis7773 Or it's actual endgame content finally and you're just bad. Warframe has one of the least predatory F2P models on the market, yet you're saying they just randomly abandoned it? Cope.

After the first week, I've been able to start off with Elite Archimedia the last few weeks. I got a lot of really bad options this week, so I dont know if I really want to do it this week.
You can: -Ignore one equipment requirement because you don't need the 50 vosfors reward at 37 points -Mod for viral, corrosive, cold and puncture (increasing critical damage and survivability) , radiation and blast (cc for non-overguarded enemies) and status duration to support your team or atypical elements for priming murmurs (like gas blast magnetic void and nukor's microwave). -Make your frame a tank with auras that supports your team and use guardian derision (yes I forgot it exists too) and draw fire away from your team -Subsume banshee's silence, which is a must have in defense and assassination. It can block all eximus' abilities, like the draining auras and 3 shields that make them immortal, the homing sparks and ice globes that are annoying af as well as necramechs' abilities -Be shameless and use voidrigs more than your setup -Be even more shameless than me spamming kullervo and build revenant with mesmer shield to make your squad inmortal
Excellent video! Now I have a detailed, well-considered rationale for not touching this game mode with a 10 meter Bo, lol. No shade to Tenno who enjoy the challenge (or maybe suffering?), there's just no amount of loot that could make me want to do this.
Being given a good frame, but no ability duration for the things that make that frame good is fantastic. Being given a single useful gun but 75% less ammo returns from drops is fantastic. Being given a good melee, but losing energy every second you're close to an enemy is fantastic. Being presented with all of these options simultaneously is fantastic. This game mode is fantastic.
Thanks for the vid! I have far better grasp in terms of their challenge and reward pools. Unfortunately, all my friends quit warframe and I just got back from rather long rest. I guess it's a time to call back mates from discord and rank up the sanctum first.
You forgot to mention it but you also have your deployable archgun as part of your Loadout too! It's saved me on a couple occasions. Can't be used if the no gear modifier is on though.
There's actually 4/5 different loadouts that aren't limited by randomization: Companions and possibly companion weapons, and archguns. Some pets get a decent amount of kills, and others can help with survivability or damage. Archguns aren't amazing, but if you have a riven for them and/or a frame who can buff them, they can possibly be better than the randomized gear.

Okay, now I’m interested in that Tank Loki build. I’ve been putting off doing Cavia ranking, but I’ll get to it as soon as I’m done with Necraloid ranks. Only a few hundred Void traces left to go… Thanks for the info!
Loki is great for tanking, because he has augment for transposition and invisibility. With not maxed duration (only 3 not tau shards for duration) invulnerability is about 12 sec for you and around 24 sec for allies, base cost 25 (IIRC if you will max duration it will cost about 30-35 energy), no cooldown nor limitation on simultaneously being on several characters. Plus you can use augment for 4th to mimic Nyx's chaos. You also can try to cheesy place a decay with augment for back up death save. Plus, because you only need duration and a little bit of efficiency to compensate debuff from mods - you have spare mod slot(s) to put whatever you want else. And Loki's invisibility is not channeled - so say hello to zenurik.
The only downside I have to the alchemy archimedea is the invincible variable. It's tedious to do but even more so solo because the spawns and drops are built around rng, so you'll have what I did when I first tried it solo, where I spent 45 minutes running around trying to bait the game into spawning something I could actually KILL because the enemies remaining were all covered in an aura that I didn't have an amphor for. I shouldn't be watching my watch waiting for the invincible minion to spawn the big huge threat of the map just to have something to kill to MAYBE have a chance at progressing the mission, because otherwise it's a game of chicken where I can't kill them and they can't kill me. Increase the spawns/drops, and I'll have zero issues that I feel need addressing. This is a great game mode otherwise.

Found this gamemode on accident, went in normal archimedea 1 point short of elite. What a surprise. I havent sweated so much in warframe since arbitrations were first added.
Deep Archimedea sounds fun ... but I doubt I will ever be able to do it. I simply don't put enough time into Warframe to have a large arsenal and endgame builds ready to go. I don't even have Primed Surefooted yet.
we did this run yesterday in our clan. so we head 4 player. ech was fine with leaving behind the last reward (50x arce dust). so we ended with: revenant with burston p. inc., frost with bursten p. inc., a dante and a volt. well.... was a bit easy xD
I don't have any friends and still manage to do every week of elite deep with random PUGs. A couple failed attempts are still less work than socializing with someone for weeks and convincing them to start playing WF! I'm sure Ken would agree after he runs the numbers...
I was lucky on my first archimedea last week to have my Excal umbra with wrathful advance. Melting everything even though i had scuffed weapons otherwise.
I still don't understand how the rewarding system works... So how many and which rewards do you actually get per Elite Deep Archimedea with max research points? Apart from the fixed Entrati Lanthorns and the 70 Vosfor, do you get one reward per mission or only one per fully compleded Deep Archimedea? It doesn't seem like you get a reward for each research point milestone, since that would make it 8 rewards in total and I can't remember getting this many rewards. The amount of rewards I got so far confused me... Last week I only got one Tauforged Archon Shard and one Melee Duplicate (+the fixed rewards).
@@wtfman2049 Until you get Overguard modifier and then Gloom becomes useless. Decoy has the highest target priority in the game, even higher than defense targets, that's why its useful for this stuff.
Elite DA is a hell of an ass kick but also really does kick ass. I found some work-arounds to some restrictions though. Running straight to extraction quickly can outrun the duviri health suckers permanently in exterminate. (Haven’t tried survival.) Activating the Necramech right before switching defense targets in mirror defense will count the kill even though it’s the mission clear that does the work.
Me and two randos did the elite DA this week (week this came out) fine. Didn’t even have a full group. As long as everyone pulls their weight it’s not that hard. I did all but one of the load put challenges, missing out on that vosfer wasn’t a deal breaker for me.
You can also cheese this with a single friend. One person takes a damage buff frame with optimal weapons and modifiers off while the other guy has all modifiers on and uses revenant with the mesmer skin augment for squad survivability. You only miss out on 50 phosphor that way.
Im glad people who wanted to play more difficult content got something. For me, DA sounds an awful lot like work, and i play warframe to get away from work.
Everyone has already said it. Just load in with a Revenant Prime or Dante and then follow them around like a puppy while they wipe the missions for you.
I enjoy the challenge, it's the first new mission type that's actually challenged me since breaking into Steel Path (without weapon arcanes). I don't like the load out restrictions, but I get it, we would trivialize it without. Hopefully DE can figure something out because I feel there are more old, outdated, low damage, weapons with ammo and other usability issues than there are good lvl 500 viable weapons (especially without rivens) so I can see getting stuck with nothing happening more often than not. I think DE saw this issue and built-in two workarounds; 1- forgo trash Vosfor reward, and 2- the tried and true Warframe leaching method. I don't like encouraging the second, it feels like, why even bother having the individual challenges if the meta is going to be run the mission twice while getting carried through one, and ignoring the modifiers completely on the other. Still, it's way better than doing Archon Hunts, just waiting for a health bar to go down (especially after they hampered the fun "game" of trying to get the one-shot). De will probably nerf the difficulty in some way (maybe increase rewards?) within a few months if history is anything to go by, but I'll still hold onto hope for a big rework.
Here's the thing about that one thing you can bring and sacraficing the vosfor reward. You can always mod your warframe to be able to handle this. So you can pick a primary or secondary to always be able to kill stuff. And since you always have 1 piece of gear that you own in each category, you can create an interesting synergy. My first deep archimidea i wanted to solo to get elite. My best options were excal and nidus, and i had laetum. I normally resorted to my operator to regen health, but i didnt have that option, so i used to mod that no one thought of, Life Strike
Well, about challenge. Problem is, if you don't get any good frames and weapons and there is one of 3 debuffs present (75% less duration/2 Manadrain per second per enemy/75% less efficiency). The only playable warframe option is inaros. And you have no way to deal damage, since your weapons are all trash. So you are stuck unless somebody can carry. Yes i know specters are pretty good. But if those are locked, operator won't be enough to carry you.
I absolutely love this. It's challenging enough that you can't just max it out and take all the items it says without even thinking about it, you actually have to consider all the options and at least make sure one frame or weapon is adequate for the mission, or sacrifice the vosfor to bring a frame/weapon you prefer or shut off a modifier you REALLY hate, like abbreviated abilities for me last week. I REALLY hope DE continues in the same vein of difficulty and gear restrictions to force people to actually git gud and not just use whatever the meta weapon is. My only change for this would be making the mission non-repeatable unless you're running it at an equal or higher level to any previous runs of the week, to prevent carry swaps between players trivializing the content by just bringing top tier meta gear then having a friend do the same.
@@redlord4321 Right, people act like anyone can just create an account and have a Torid Incarnon with 8 Forma, a Potato and Arcane in 2 months, EVERYONE that has meta weapons worked hard for them, they may not have created the builds, but they still had to built the normal Torid, still had to grind SP Circuit for the Adapter, grind the currencies, unlock the challenges, forma the weapon 8 times, not to mention all the steps that are not directly tied to meta but still take a long time (unlocking Steel Path, farming Arcanes and Adapters, farming and maxing lvl 10 mods that are expensive as fuck, etc), it takes a long time to get there, and these people deserve the "power" they have. I'm gonna be real here, chief. This ain't it. Most of the new melee arcanes aren't great. A solid boost, I like a couple of them, but I'm in no way hard up for farming them. Archon shards are great. It's still easy enough to run 5 netracells plus an archon hunt plus the one in the shop without dealing with obnoxious gameplay modifiers like, "No energy, lul" or "Use the Stug with Ivara in that defense mission." I just ... don't care about these dumb challenges DE keeps pumping out. Modifiers suck. The most fun I've had in Warframe in like ... 4 years now was Eidolons. I remember fighting the first one, getting wrecked and not knowing what to do. Googling the solution, farming for weeks to kill it, and then realizing that killing ONE was just the START. Then there was the second, I couldn't even survive against it. Me and my friend ran duos on them, farmed up the first Eidolon until we got the parts for a decent amp, worked on frames that could tank the energy draining wave and the eidolon's damage. I started using Madurai as my main focus school instead of Zenurik, and it was FUCKING HYPE when we killed a Hydrolyst for the first time. Deep Archemedian? There won't be any fanfare for that crap. It'll be, "Oh, joy, I have to use a weapon I hate, a frame I hate, and these modifiers make the game harder and less enjoyable, so I can get rewards that make... what easier?" Eidolons we were grinding towards an end goal, a big boss monster to finish off and then farm. DA? ...nothing. There's nothing. Other than getting that ugly eyeball to prove we did it, there's nothing.
Great video, really well explained. Unfortunately after watching this I have zero incentive to actually play Deep Archimedia - it seems like a misstep by DE that excludes the everyday player who is there for some fun, as opposed to those that have active clans, time to grind up equipment and actually grind this mode. It just sounds terrible for the game as alienates the general playerbase. Duviri at least seems more inclined to include all players.
Don't take it the wrong way, but there already is gazillion things to do just for fun, while i understand your POV, it is crucial to also understand those players who want more difficulty/challenge and rewards.
@MagikarpMan but your everyday player is most likely an endgame player if they have deep archimedea available to them, they just do not live for the sole purpose of playing warframe.
@@beegyoshi1685you don't need to live for the sole purpose of playing Warframe to do deep arch media, if Ur an endgame player you have many weapons and many frames so eda should be no problem even for casual players. I'm a casual player and i do it just fine
DE really went all in tailoring to hardcore endgame players with this. I can tell because I feel alone in enjoying the random arsenal and the damage puzzles it presents and always go solo. Week 1 took 8 attempts and I loved every second of the challenge.
Meanwhile the "endgame" part of the game is stupidly easy, it should have been level 800-1000 enemies for elite, make it proper endgame, I put together a really bad build this week and beat EA with no struggles
@@mightymushroom4980There’s really not much of a difference between lvl 300-400 and lvl 800-1,000 enemies aside from almost requiring armor strip methods for the latter. That doesn’t make it more difficult, it just makes it so you have to put two emerald shards on every frame you choose for it.
@@SmoothTurtle840 More like their survivability barely changes but you're forced to shieldgating on nearly all frames (not very fun). I think the levels are fine rn.
@@mightymushroom4980 And people are still finding a way to bitch. I swear half of the playerbase wants to run 1 frame, and 3 weapons for the entire game, in A LOOTER shooter inspired game.
Easy ealite guide TLDR: do it 4 times, with 3 players carrying, ignoring loadout restriction, and one of them decked in full worthless gear. Bonus points if one of the carries runs a frame to make everyone else immortal and the other 2 going damage-buff. It really doesnt get easier than that.
So far really enjoying this content. I have put more forma into weapons so they are usable, tweaked builds and it's actually a challenge! Also pretty sure I've earnt more tau shards in a few weeks than from archons!! Really great game mode😊 Just need more friends 😂😂😂

None of them could speak English and none of them could understand eachother and they kept talking ik chat in their own fucking language
I just unlocked this mode and I have a question. - It cost 2 pulses to play and you can do it as much as you like, right? That's why you said you can do 2:2 team at 9:20
Yes and yes. 2 pulses unlocks unlimited tries for the week, even after getting all rewards. Each reward tier can only be earned once per week regardless of the number of attempts made.
lost me at "curated squad" we dont do that round these parts, public matchmaking or solo forever

I always just join squads in recruit. Almost always 2-3 legendary 4 players.
Oh hey bluprint
A little tip for Mirror Defense: If you spawn the Necramech eximus within the last 5-10 seconds of the round, its spawn animation will eat up all the time left in the round, and it'll die during the transition to the next wave without you having to do anything. The next wave will then start with 1:45 on the timer, and you can repeat this at the end of rounds 2 and 3. Then you can challenge the one on the last round normally
Likely a bug, will probably get patched, but a really useful tip to shave that time off even if your squad isn't necessarily capable of defeating the mechs normally
This carried me hard last week
Hopefully it stays for some time
Also, use ancient Eximus healer specters!

Between Deep Archimedea and Circuit, it seems necessary now to build every warframe and have the best variant of every weapon.
I believe that's the true end game. Have every single frame and weapon in the game fully forma'd.
Think it's easier to have a build on all warframes and then gamble on the weapons
I love using new weapons in the circuit but if I ever see the Stug once I unlock Deep Archimedia I'm going to be offended.
Having a friend you can rotate bringing meta gear with to take turns carrying each other is how i beat the mirror defense last week

That's when I understood that Warframe at its best isn't a shooter, it's a very convoluted problem solving simulator
The challenges set by Deep Archimedea take that problem solving to the next level
Very informative video as always
Technically one of the solutions is brute force (catalysting and forma-ing the weapons)
you don't understand how much I appreciate these videos and the math behind them. Thank you
7:50 Elite crew members have a trait where killing an enemy heals all nearby allies by 500 over 10 seconds, which includes the defense objective. Not a lot, but it's something.
Also, these on call crew members seems to bypass some damage restriction on the enemies, I give them Kuva Zarr, and it hits those Necramechs pretty hard. If the mission didn't restrict your item wheel, they'll make your run easier.
I don't think there's any Bypassing ... They just Deal more Damage than We Do.... And they Never Reload. 😳
One thing Ken neglected to mention:
Your equipped Heavy Weapon (aka Archgun with gravmag) IS deployable in Deep Archimedea and AFAIK there's no variable restricting their use.

It's enough to whittle down enemies passively, even if your guns are poor, and can make up for bad weapon choices.
the vampyric enemys alone are the biggest hurddle for pug groups from what ive noticed, seen them drop like flys trying to chain revive
I failed my first elite archimidea this week because of it. Our khora went down because of them. Then i tried tanking them for long enough to get the revive off, but i failed
It's literally like having 10 toxic procs on you per second. It bypasses shield gating, which is how most frames do endgame content.
You mean those invincible guys with the death aura?
They should at least get a hard-core nerf to their immunities. I hate how last week when I got Khora as a choice that even when I passed on the "-75% ability duration" debuff that I used Khora's Ensnare (one of very few crowd control abilities that works on the Liminus enemies) with about 231% ability duration, which should give Ensnare a 30-second duration, but because of how broken overpowered those things are Ensnare with a 231% ability duration only lasts 1-2 seconds on them. I get this is supposed to be end-game content, but this is just plain ridiculous and unreasonable.
My favorite part is how more than half of the equipment in Warframe isn't worth using.
That's why we usually have variations.
My 2nd favorite part is how I don't have enough weapon slots for that same half of the equipment
@@kaiserium8551 that just comes with time. Invest in trades with players, buy more slots or ask friends if they can gift it to you.
My favourite part is having an account I've invested a lot of time into and being rewarded for my diverse array of equipment.

I do on Public, because if you got a good loadout, you can help everyone, and if you get a Bad Loadout, the others will help aswell
The amount of loot you get from Elite DA is crazy, but completely justified seeing as it's a weekly and the gear check is massive.

For the second, now that we can FINALLY combine shards into Tauforged (should have been in the game from the start, despite Ken's other video), I'm at the point where I don't even need the shards anymore and I'm just building up stockpiles for frames that I might eventually get to investing in.

-Ignore one equipment requirement because you don't need the 50 vosfors reward at 37 points
-Mod for viral, corrosive, cold and puncture (increasing critical damage and survivability) , radiation and blast (cc for non-overguarded enemies) and status duration to support your team or atypical elements for priming murmurs (like gas blast magnetic void and nukor's microwave).
-Make your frame a tank with auras that supports your team and use guardian derision (yes I forgot it exists too) and draw fire away from your team
-Subsume banshee's silence, which is a must have in defense and assassination. It can block all eximus' abilities, like the draining auras and 3 shields that make them immortal, the homing sparks and ice globes that are annoying af as well as necramechs' abilities
-Be shameless and use voidrigs more than your setup
-Be even more shameless than me spamming kullervo and build revenant with mesmer shield to make your squad inmortal
What options do you have?
Excellent video! Now I have a detailed, well-considered rationale for not touching this game mode with a 10 meter Bo, lol. No shade to Tenno who enjoy the challenge (or maybe suffering?), there's just no amount of loot that could make me want to do this.
Being given a good frame, but no ability duration for the things that make that frame good is fantastic. Being given a single useful gun but 75% less ammo returns from drops is fantastic. Being given a good melee, but losing energy every second you're close to an enemy is fantastic. Being presented with all of these options simultaneously is fantastic.

Found this gamemode on accident, went in normal archimedea 1 point short of elite. What a surprise. I havent sweated so much in warframe since arbitrations were first added.
This late but, congratulations for 100k subs
My squad crashed while doin the assassination, there was just too much goin on 😭
Doing assassination was hell, thought my xbox was going to explode at some point XD

Awesome! Thank You for info!
Deep Archimedea sounds fun ... but I doubt I will ever be able to do it. I simply don't put enough time into Warframe to have a large arsenal and endgame builds ready to go. I don't even have Primed Surefooted yet.
damn I feel ya… I guess this is the true endgame players have been crying for years
i did all my deep archimedea without any prime mods
@@flowerofash4439 missed the point 🤦🏽♂️
Abbreviated Abilities is just such a brutal modifier, I hope that I get at least one somewhat decent weapon, so that I can turn it off...
best explanation since deep archemedia dropped
Tough challenge, aka bring the Laetum modded for radiation and solo it.
we did this run yesterday in our clan. so we head 4 player. ech was fine with leaving behind the last reward (50x arce dust). so we ended with: revenant with burston p. inc., frost with bursten p. inc., a dante and a volt. well.... was a bit easy xD
I don't have any friends and still manage to do every week of elite deep with random PUGs. A couple failed attempts are still less work than socializing with someone for weeks and convincing them to start playing WF! I'm sure Ken would agree after he runs the numbers...
I LOVE THE KENGINEER!!!
Last week I only got one Tauforged Archon Shard and one Melee Duplicate (+the fixed rewards).
the mode where you subsume decoy on a new frame every week
Don't even need Decoy, EA is super easy
cool
for me it is gloom for the defense
@@wtfman2049 Until you get Overguard modifier and then Gloom becomes useless. Decoy has the highest target priority in the game, even higher than defense targets, that's why its useful for this stuff.
Why decoy?
Elite DA is a hell of an ass kick but also really does kick ass. I found some work-arounds to some restrictions though.
Running straight to extraction quickly can outrun the duviri health suckers permanently in exterminate. (Haven’t tried survival.)
Activating the Necramech right before switching defense targets in mirror defense will count the kill even though it’s the mission clear that does the work.
Basically u need every weapon and frame fully min/maxed.
NEVER SKIP BUILDING 1 FORMA A DAY! Forma is the real endgame.
Me and two randos did the elite DA this week (week this came out) fine. Didn’t even have a full group. As long as everyone pulls their weight it’s not that hard. I did all but one of the load put challenges, missing out on that vosfer wasn’t a deal breaker for me.
0:04 Put your WHAT TO THE TEST?
Arsenal
Arse and all
You can also cheese this with a single friend.
As an mr9 player I’ll stick to Netracells 😅
Build Issue 🤔
Skill issue
I absolutely love this. It's challenging enough that you can't just max it out and take all the items it says without even thinking about it, you actually have to consider all the options and at least make sure one frame or weapon is adequate for the mission, or sacrifice the vosfor to bring a frame/weapon you prefer or shut off a modifier you REALLY hate, like abbreviated abilities for me last week.
I REALLY hope DE continues in the same vein of difficulty and gear restrictions to force people to actually git gud and not just use whatever the meta weapon is. My only change for this would be making the mission non-repeatable unless you're running it at an equal or higher level to any previous runs of the week, to prevent carry swaps between players trivializing the content by just bringing top tier meta gear then having a friend do the same.
gear restriction is not fun if you want to limit yourself go ahead but dont forth others so when so many weapons are trash
Like, i'm not against what they are doing with Archimedea, i don't have it unlocked yet, but the concept is super cool, reminds me a bit of GW2 Fractals, but if the entire end game turn into "restriction fest" it will become old and boring very fast.
That final 50 vosfur ani't worth it chief
@@redlord4321 Friend, I was stuck with an ammo limitation and my secondary options were the stug, aegrit, or twin kohmak. With primary choices that were also pretty atrocious, and my only good melee option being the Keratinos. It made me think of a creative way to do the missions and use the gear presented, which is awesome!
If you aren't fond of the gear limitations, you can always ignore them for lesser rewards, or simply run netracells instead with the 2 charges you would use for deep archimedea. That's the beauty of this game, and especially this system, we can all choose to play it however we enjoy.
@@redlord4321skill issue
This is endgame, dedicated for endgame players, just like wow, FFXIV, gw2, D2 and any other mmo have.
You literally have the easier version, netracells, if you arsenal isn't good enough for this.
Let us have our fucking endgame and stop crying
I'm about half done maxing the melee arcanes about 8 weeks in to running EDA and Netracells (I pretty much started both at the same time because of when I came back to the game). Tbh I'm kinda mad because it just means I've been getting really unlucky on shards, which are much more important to me.
I like eda, I think it's fun and the rewards are cool 👍🏾
I think the problem is RNG being used as artificial difficulty is just not fun
I know my gear is not up to the challenge of Deep Archimedea, I play Warframe not min-max everything I do but to find ways of making myself giggle.
No way your complaining that an endgame game mode is for endgame players
@MagikarpMan but your everyday player is most likely an endgame player if they have deep archimedea available to them, they just do not live for the sole purpose of playing warframe.
@@beegyoshi1685you don't need to live for the sole purpose of playing Warframe to do deep arch media, if Ur an endgame player you have many weapons and many frames so eda should be no problem even for casual players. I'm a casual player and i do it just fine
Just play the other 99% of the game ffs. You don't NEED to be able to face roll every piece of content in the game.
Can you make a hound guide? And which mods are best for them?
Like... you can forgo one of the limitations, just bring Revenant subsumed with something useful and half the problem is already removed, if you're REALLY unlucky and have no usable weapon too, just bring Octavia subsumed with something useful.
Really great game mode😊
Just need more friends 😂😂😂
could anyone help me with this? It's really hard to carry randoms sometimes. Even with the best setup.
I am that guy that goes full send in a public squad each week
... So basically you're allowed to have 1 gear pick to get the highest chest reward, so... I bring torrid and pick the tankiest frame and slap on arcane guardian and acceleration, which helps defense and fire rate on torrid and if I get decent mates it's a cake walk
Another weapon you can bring is your archwing weapon, mod it accordingly!
As a player who only has 3 warframes that could probably haddle deep archimedea makes me relize I need to start building other frames
I tried to get a proper squad together but yeah struggled finding people with both my clan and with Discord, so I just run in public squads. Quite a bit of gamble whether I get really good or really bad squads. Last time I ended up in a squad with a French, Russian and Turkish person... None of them could speak English and none of them could understand eachother and they kept talking ik chat in their own fucking language
amazing
I just unlocked this mode and I have a question.
- It cost 2 pulses to play and you can do it as much as you like, right? That's why you said you can do 2:2 team at 9:20
Yes and yes. 2 pulses unlocks unlimited tries for the week, even after getting all rewards. Each reward tier can only be earned once per week regardless of the number of attempts made.
Me thinking I made good progress in Warframe: :D
Me after this the new content dropped: D:
