thank you for keeping it simple and keeping me company when I sew.
The majic pins changed my world when quilting. I was hesitant at first on buying the different sizes, but they've more than proved them selves. 😃
I’m loving them! They’re on the pricier side, so I was hesitant, but I love them 🙌🏻
You can never have too many pin cushions! I have a few magnetic pin dishes and a few I made and stuffed with poly-fil. I also made some similar triangular one to use as pattern weights that I stuffed with poly-pellets. Thanks for the tutorial! Love your channel!!!
Cute project! I probably would use the ground walnut shells/lizard litter because they help keep the pins sharp. If you fill them only with that then they can be used as pattern weights when cutting out garment patterns. I have some of those needles only they're longer - not my favorite, but likely because they're long and find my fingers or hand too easily!
I have quite the obsession with pin cushions. I've made the triangle chicken pincushion, ones with tea cups, and EPP ones as well. I have been wanting to try the magic pins, guess I'll need to make another pin cushion!
I'm not sure where you order from, but I purchase a lot of my sewing supplies through wawak. I find they almost always have the best prices.
The magic pins heads are made of silicone !!!! I love them !! They come in blue and pink !!! They are soooo nice !! Cuz when you go to the iron the heads won’t melt !!! If you do not have theses pins I highly recommend them !!! They are awesome awesome !!! I also loved your pin cushions soooo cute !!! And I also love a scrape project !!! Anything to use up those scraps !! Also, I could not get your up !! So I unable to get it !!! Thank you for sharing and caring !!’ Thank you for going so slow !! I had no trouble following you 🤣👍🏿⭕️❌🙌🏼🙏🏻❣️👊😘😍⭕️❌
Very cute. Quick little functional project, and a great tutorial on sewing crisp corners. Poly pellets are my go-to for weighted bases, but there are obviously many options, rice being an economical one. 😊
Great shape for a pin cushion! Love your fabrics😎 Thanks for the detailed instructions about getting the corners to meet - I wouldn't have known to stop short at each end. I've learnt a new 3D sewing skill today🎉
I got lots off pincushions also one with Velcro on the sewing table cover on e wrist pin cushion and a finger ring pincushion the are so fun and needed 😂🤗
I have made both sizes. Great pattern and instructions.
You have my same way of thinking! I’ve been wanting a pin cushion that will organize my shorter pins from my longer ones. Thank you for this tutorial/1
Thanks again for explaining something I actually understand. Been sewing for years but eureka moments seem to be only recently. 😮
Great pin cushion. I have two giant ones and am forever losing them right under my nose😁😁
Cute, I thought it was a chicken at first! I bought the magic pins at my local quilt shop and got the bigger flat head ones because I can't feel the round ball heads i have.
Oooohhh, so cute and this really seems doable even for me, having been away from sewing for what seems like half a lifetime 🤗Thanks for sharing and Happy new Year everyone 🥳
SEW darn cute! thanks for this one!
If you have a sewing machine that does small lettering, you could stitch the needle/pin size near the base of each side to help with organization. Of course, you would need to do this before stitching the pieces together.
The look awesome thank you for sharing 🤗👍🏻
Love this pin cushioned just purchased the pattern & just subscribed!
Adorable
I love these ❤
I have a sewing pattern for a sewing machine pincushion. I was told by experienced sewers of over 40 years that it’s really complicated to do.
That sounds so cute!
New subscriber here, nice videos, love it thanks :)
Could you use saw dust for the stuffing?
Love this project. IMO rice might not be a great choice for those of us in high humidity areas. But lots of options for filling.
That’s true, bean bag filling would be even better!
The pin heads are silicone, so they’re heat resistant.
Where did you get the blue pins in the pin cushion
They’re called Magic Pins, I got mine at Hobby Lobby and Amazon 👍🏻
Nikki any chance ur in the military?
