    How long will it keep after you open a jar? I am guessing you should put in the refrigerator after opening too

      Yes, it should be placed I. The refrigerator after opening. It should last about one month in the fridge after opening- if you don’t eat it up before then. 😊 Thanks for watching and your question. Have a blessed evening!!!

    I have one very similar. My can opener is smaller. Got it from QVC like 5 years ago. Love it

    If you put about a tablespoon of vinegar in your crockpot water, you will not have the residue on the jars..

      I’m so glad you liked the video! This is an easy recipe that is fun and very rewarding-with not a lot of effort. 😉 Caramel is one of those things that perfect year round and is a very welcomed gift. You could even attach the recipe and they could also make it. As for the jars, they are from Amazon. However, I did change the lids and rings from the original as I wanted a good seal. Thank you for watching, your comment, and well wishes. I hope you have a blessed weekend!!! 😊

    That looks so good! What a great way to make caramel. How long do the rings, lids and jars need to be in the water for them to be sterilized? Thanks.

      Once the water come to a boil about 10 minutes, then turn the burner off and let the sit in the warm water about 5 minutes before removing and using. Allow these jars to cool slightly since the mixture is room temperature. You never want to “shock” a jar by pouring contents that is an extremely different temperature into a hot jar. This is the method I generally use. Thanks for watching and your question. Have a blessed weekend and enjoy the caramel!!! 😊

      If you love caramel, you will love this recipe! Also, it’s just fun to make. If you have friends that also enjoy caramel, it would be a great gift for Valentine’s Day. As for the can opener, I just love a manual hand held can opener. 😊 Thanks for watching and I hope you have a blessed weekend!!!

      @@stephsstovebystephaniethom7249 thanx. Me and my Son rode Hurricane Katrina out, it was terrifying. We had no power for 22 days. I didn't own a Manuel can opener. The first and only one I could find was one if those old metal sorry openers. You would be surprised, but I managed to get food our of cans with a beer opener. I bought me a Kitchen Aid, it was 18 years ago last Aug, hard to believe and I still am using it. Live your channel!!!

      Welcome! I’m so glad you are enjoying my channel!!! As for my makeup, I use IT Cosmetics for foundation during the winter months. In the spring-fall, I use Jose Maran tinted moisturizer with SPF. The blush I use is Laura Geller and I always change lipstick. Most of which I purchase from QVC. 😊 Hope this helps and you find some colors that will work well for you. Have a blessed weekend and welcome again to my channel!!! 🤗

    Pink salt does it taste different or the same? What's the difference?

    • @stephsstovebystephaniethom7249
      @stephsstovebystephaniethom7249  8 місяців тому +1

      It is slightly larger than table salt but does taste about the same. However, it does have health benefits such as enhance serotonin levels in your body, reducing stress, boosting energy and relieving depression. It’s also has claims of restore energy in your body. Overall, it’s a good addition. But, if you don’t have any substituting table salt will be fine in the same measurement. It’s a 1:1 substitution. Over the last several years I have tried to use a variety of salt in my cooking and experiment with their flavors, texture, and health benefits. Thanks for watching and your question. Have a blessed weekend!!! 😊

      Oh my goodness that sounds amazing!!! I will definitely try this, maybe with dark chocolate 🍫 for Valentine’s Day. The caramel is delicious and so much better than the thin caramel sauce that is available in the grocery store. I’m so glad you enjoyed this video and the nougat too. Thanks for watching and your kind words 😊 of encouragement! Have a blessed weekend!!!
