    So awesome! Years ago, before I had my canoe, I was an avid SUP paddler and did some day paddling at George Lake, Killarney. I dreamt of heading further into the park and camping on OSA Lake. Considered attempting a SUP trip, but eventually made it there by canoe, just myself and my dog. Have been on several Killarney trips now (and more planned for this season). It's the most magical place. Your video has me thinking about dusting off my paddle board! Thank you for sharing this unique perspective of the park!

      You totally should do a SUP trip! Here is the video from my first backcountry paddle boarding trip. I did a short one in Algonquin Park - ua-cam.com/video/39XNFb-EjeM/v-deo.htmlsi=PQdN35zIq121M_Hm

      I'm super excited for another trip this summer. Currently planning one around Barron Canyon!

    When you go on these adventures, have you thought about having T-shirts made up for us to purchase because that would be a pretty cool thing you know to help support your journey
    I see what you’re doing and everything and it’s like pretty emotional for me because I don’t do that stuff anymore. I don’t do much of anything anymore. I miss getting out on adventures to become preoccupied with not doing it as opposed to doing it so thank you for allowing me to live vicariously through your journeys .

      Thanks for your support! Merch is on the list to do in the near future. In the meantime I appreciate any support by 'Buying me a Coffee', using any of my affiliate links or what you're doing - subscribing, liking and commenting! 🙏🏼
      I hope my videos inspire you to get our and do what you love! I'm also thrilled to take people virtually on adventures to places they might never go for whatever reason. ❤️

    Are you curious if any of you know anybody that does wilderness medical rescue because what could you have done to protect your puncture in your foot to prevent it from getting infected? Could you have put anti-bacterial salve on it, so that it would protect it from the water, and so that it would protect her from infection as well because it’s antibacterial. I am curious about that.

    • @PaddleAdventurer
      @PaddleAdventurer  Рік тому +1

      I can't speak for the others but I have done First Aid/CPR training but I would love to take Remote or Wilderness First Aid.
      We took all the necessary steps to prevent infection including cleaning and dressing the wound plus as you saw keeping it dry and clean. If you're interested REI has a good resource here www.rei.com/learn/expert-advice/how-to-treat-cuts-scrapes-and-gouges-in-the-backcountry.html

    Maybe you shouldn't paddle Killarney until it's changed back if you feel that way.
