Looks Great! I was going to go with a diamond blade and circular saw. But now the shear looks like a much better solution. Thanks very much for showing it!
Amazing, I didn't catch the drill getting stuck on the board either. Thanks for sharing that part with us, because I am sure this happened and will happen to others.
Great to see another great video from you, I know your a nurse, thank you for all you do for everyone, hope your staying safe with the outbreak of the C-19 virus
@@NassrinsDIY You're welcome, my dear. I really sharing with you like a good friend and if you interesting to support my channel by growing my business. That would be appreciated.
The video's are always helpful. Your bathroom remodeling experience has taught you well young padawan. Yeah, that last tool looks like a keeper. Please stay safe at work nurse! Thank you for your hard work in tough health care times. 💉😊
Great video! I've never had great results cutting cement board with a circular saw, as .42" hardiebacker destroys the blades very quickly, and detailed cuts aren't feasible. In addition to the health hazard created by the silica, dust clouds from cutting with the grinder can cover landscaping and cars. I do need to invest in a snapper shear!
I know all those tools but I don't even know what Hardy backer is. Haha. Guess it's not on boats or I'd know about it. Things not on yachts: Tiles, concrete/ cement and Laurel and Hardy backer. But I have a house now so I'm learning quick. I tiled the concrete floor in my back room by watching your vids. The floor had tar cutback adhesive from 40's linoleum flooring.. I removed with "Pure Citrus" air freshener from home despot .. And a bit of goof off solvent. I know every solvent and cleaner known to mankind, xylene, mek etc. funny how the Pure Citrus was the only really effective solvent. Orange can with white lid.. Don't buy the one next to it, it's cheaper but doesn't cut. Cleans white rubber on shoes too . wow that was a long shpeel
Yes! This Video Helped Me A Lot! In Special I Didn't Know That Last Tool You Presented! Is Great! Will Help Me Enough! Thanks For More This Tip! Congratulations Oon The Channel! God bless You! Greetings Here From Brazil! And Be Careful With This Covid-19! Please!
I installed a humidity sensing bathroom vent fan in my bathroom. Took 3 hours. Mainly because I let my kids help. They learned a valuable lesson about going potty before going in the attic. Side note: Where is your ear protection?
Gave me a chuckle lol. we have all done it. I find a 4" grinder better providing its used outside as you mentioned. wonder if that drill attachement is available in the UK?
*I have to put some siding on a shed. I got some 4x8 sheets of siding for a very good price so ill need to cut it. This video give good tips on the best way to go about It. Looks like I need to buy a new tool* DexterousX
I have used the Pactool Snapper Shear Pro, but it’s only good for 1/4 inch Hardie Backer Board. When cutting 1/2 inch Hardie board, it just wouldn’t go straight (the jar isn’t big enough to cut fully). Are you using 1/4 inch board fro the demonstration???
Ok, what are you doing different? Watched another video using the same snapper tool, and the guy said you can't cut curves and it also broke big chunks out at the start of each cut. But he still said it was the best tool for the job, he just may not actually know how to use it.
Granted this was nine months ago, but he probably didn’t have the shoe pressed against the material. That would cause the whole thing to bounce and kick around, and knock chunks out of everything. That will happen with almost any tool, but especially anything that oscillates like that
No, very dangerous! You would be inviting kickback, which can harm the operator severely. The last tool she used was the safest and therefore worth the cost vs. hospital bill, disability or burial. Be safe. Accidents happen unexpectedly, quickly, and indiscriminately to the novice or highly skilled. Use tools that minimize your risk of injury. Missing fingers or other injuries will impact you for the rest of your life... maybe even you being able to do what you love. Thank you Nassrin for introducing this safe tool alternative!
The ending was hilarious!
Yep something kept it from cutting at the end hahaha.
Bless you and thank you for another great video
This was exactly what I needed to watch for my project planning. Thank you!

Along with the mask and goggles, a tool with built in vacuum might be ideal. And an industrial air filter machine.
@2:39 not a word about the 3 inches of board lost.
Is anyone worried about corona virus?

I think the first ones they came out with only cut right angle curves.
Granted this was nine months ago, but he probably didn’t have the shoe pressed against the material. That would cause the whole thing to bounce and kick around, and knock chunks out of everything. That will happen with almost any tool, but especially anything that oscillates like that
