I just wet my hair, mix 1 table spoon with 2 table spoons of water, mix in some hair mask and put it on my hair for an hour or so. My hair is so much smoother after this. I can't even achieve this smoothness with blow dryer. It's srlsy the best.

Hi Kenna! I would love to hear more about treating and fading new AND old scars. I have picked my scabs my whole life and I am currently seeking products and hacks to help this. I have seen a dermatologist for this and she was not helpful. She suggested mederma and to "stop picking". I love the science side of things so thank you for using your wisdom and passion to help!

I think it's important to note what kind of moisturizer you put on the belmish. Some moisturizers can have protective properties like silicone and other soothing ingredients. But others could have active ingredients, fragrance and other irritants that may exacerbate the belmish. So just be mindful, but definitely a nice little hack. A more expensive alternative would be a pimple (hydrocolloid) patch.
I tried the glob of moisturizer on 2 angry pimples and it totally helped! I just put it on before bed and when I woke up this morning they looked 10 times better! Usually my pimples don’t heal that fast. If you have acne try this! 😀

@@SuperStarr817 Yes, but, somehow, I feel that statement "have never used salicylic acid on my skin nor do I intent to ever use it on my skin, ever" - paraphrasing, but, I do feel like this wasn't just about pregnancy. Maybe I'm wrong about this, though. I am wondering because this is one of my own skin's biggest struggles and issues - clogged pores, blackheads, closed comedones and things like those, not necessarily acne or pimples per say, so if salicylic acid is not a good ingredient to use for some reason, it would be a great information for me to know. I was about to ask the same question! I've been considering buying a salicylic cleanser for my blackheads/closed comedones so I want to see if she has a reason other than being pregnant that made her say that
In a past video she stated that salicylic acid was one is like skin addicting so that if you ever tried to stop using it, your skin would revert back and/or have breakouts.
I'd strongly disagree about the feminine wash. Face cleanser provides pH around 5.5 which is perfect for skin on your face but your vulva needs even more acidic pH, around 4.5. Let's not forget pH scale is logarithmic- there's a huge difference between 5.5 vs 4.5. And we also gotta account for the fact that we're all using water with those cleansing products, that brings the pH even more alkaline.
The body naturally gets your skin back to the correct pH over time - so washing with a 5.5 cleanser is much better starting point on your skin than washing with soap or a normal body wash which can have pH of 8+, which is what a lot of people do! Even if you wash with a pH of 5.5 or 4.5 - you're right in that the pH of water is going to raise the pH on the skin of both of those products, so the difference between the two products will become extremely minimal. At least with both products you will be closer to neutral pH ~ 7 than above pH 8, as alkaline pH products tend to be sticky and are harder to rinse off whereas acidic products (less than pH 7) rinse off easily and leave no residue. Hope this helps clarify!

@@KennaWhitnell oh defo it's better to start from a closer pH but why not get the perfect one?
Ok but is it Hyram approved?
Kenna,
Love your content. Thanks for all the helpful tips. 💖
I hope you’re staying calm and relaxed in these times. I recently read that a baby in S Korea healed from the virus from exclusively breastfeeding 💕
Through I’d share the awesome info 💖
Change your pillowcase every other day 😭 alright I’ll try lol
Same😂 probably going to do it for the first week and then I’ll just forget
As far as the oil for makeup remover tip goes, can you use facial oils like jojoba oil or squalane oil to remove your makeup???
Aaron Williams i know i’m not kenna so idk 100% what her take on this is haha but i’ve been use squalane oil to remove my makeup for a long time and i love it so much, helped clear my skin for sure. argan, rosehip, or squalane work the best for my skin because i’m very prone to break outs. hope this still helps! 🤗
