    Short, sharp and to the point, love it, might have to check it out myself

      It's pretty great, offers just as much protection as a standard travel lock and is more low-key. Love your channel btw, kind of consider you my Australian counterpart in the world of minimalist packing.

      @@OneBagTravels @OneBagTravels I just ordered a double stainless pack lol. Thanks, I can see we share a similar range of items/bags and similar sub count (but youre winning lol) if you're ever down under come say hi :)

    You do a great job on your reviews! I can tell all the work you put into them with the different camera angle's, audio, and they're very informative. I found your channel searching for convertible travel packs. I recently came across the Gregory Tetrad & Tribute and was curious to see what other options there might be. So far, I've watched quite a few of your other videos and wanted to tell you to keep up the great work!!

      Thanks kind internet stranger! Glad you like the vids, it's more work planning and editing than filming usually 😀 The Tribute is a solid bag and one of the few travel packs available with Women's sizing. Good luck with the condo, looks awesome!

      Agreed! So much more work goes into a video than people realize! I'm tall so I tend to go with the men's sizes for bags. Although, I might give women's bags a chance when they offer the adjustable torso length. I will definitely be using some of your tips in my travels. Looking forward to more!

    I love these things, but never thought to use them as locks for zippers until I saw them in a prior video of yours. They used to make a version without the locking plastic bit that may be just as useful for some instances or if you don't want to have to flip part open and closed.

    • @OneBagTravels
      @OneBagTravels  4 роки тому +2

      Yeah, the micro ones all have locks now. You can get the bigger clips without a lock, but they're probably too big for locking zippers. You could always break off that plastic locking tab if you didn't want to use it 😆

    I just used your link to order two, two packs (red) from Amazon. Never saw these before they look really useful, thanks for the info 👍🏾

    Thanks! I bought a couple of 2-packs and they came with no instructions. I also just got new acrylic fingernails, so can’t for the life of me twist that plastic locking mechanism without risking breaking them 😮. On the hunt for mini-pliers now! 👍🏻
    EDIT: Tweezers work great to “unlock” the S-Binder lock

      Oh, I didn't even think about nails, yeah that twist lock is pretty small, glad you found a solution!

    Hello, what is the difference with the polycarbonate ones? Are they the same size as the steel ones? Could you put three keys equal?

    • @OneBagTravels
      @OneBagTravels  3 роки тому +3

      The external dimensions are similar on all three versions (poly, aluminum, and steel) but the thickness of the material is different. Because it's stronger, steel is the thinnest, and poly the thickest. This has an impact on what you can use them for. Luggage locks, zipper pulls and keys with smaller holes might not fit the poly, and you can't fit as many keys on the poly compared to the metal ones.
      Three keys will fit the steel and aluminum fine. You can fit 3 keys on the poly but they start to stick out and might not lay flat depending on how large the keyring hole is on the key.
      The poly is much lighter but I tend to use the steel one more because it works better for what I use it for (mostly locking zipper pulls).

      👍🏻 I can see why you have 5… they are useful and you are absolutely spot on, when it comes to them not being so noticeable like padlocks would. I already have 2 in my first pack. Would pick up 2 more sets, as spares…😁

      @@nmaqsood8980 It always felt weird walking around with a giant travel padlock on my bag. It's more secure than these little clips, but it just looks like you're trying to protect something. Which can be a flag for someone to try and get into your pack.
