I moved to San Diego in 1977 to a condo South of UCSD. Worked near Miramar. It's was about a 10 minute drive from Gilman to 52. Normal work hours but there was never any traffic. Retired in 2003 and moved to RSF. Love San Diego. I recommend anyone moving check out traffic routes to your workplace. Saving time commuting pays of big.
I park in the Horton garage for nearly anything downtown, then walk. Never seen the garage full, even during Padres games, Comic Con, etc. If you mean free parking, then yeah, I don't think there's any.
I live in East County. Yes, do a video on East County San Diego and you will be doing a video on the most uneducated, boorish, dangerous and rude people on the planet.
@@lifeinsandiego Many share costs and a home. Grandparents used to be part of an integral family. Many immigrants know this, rather than greedy Americans who ignore this.

well said!
You should mention Santee in some of these videos. 20 minutes from la jolla still one of the best options for first time buyers.

It seems to me that more northern Californians are moving out compared to southern Californians……SoCal a little more chill and seems not so crazy left
From my experience, most people moving from NorCal are coming down to SoCal in the masses

Many can’t handle paradise.
Paradise for most, but just really darn expensive for others!
