Been playing disc golf super casually for a while but just started getting into it seriously and really wanted to know more about types of throws, types of discs, etc. Stoked to find your channel. Great stuff! Cheers!
just getting back into DG after 10+ years. Previously, I was a very casual player and didn't pick up any of these technicalities of the game. I just went out and chucked disk and drank beer with my friends. ( I was a bartender at the time lol) . Now that I got my old disk out, bought some new ones and played 4-5 rounds again, I really have a thirst for this game in a different way. Your videos are really the best I have seen to explain these technical and foundational aspects of the game. Thank you very much. Your vids are perfect for me to now apply and improve in my game. Cheers Hunter!
i just started playing disc golf about 3 months ago, just picked up a super sick river in opto plastic and got a ace throwing a flex shot, i didn’t even mean to the disc is just over stable till it beats in so i tried to straight my back up for some an hyzer and i accidentally threw a perfect flex
if you are talking about the approach shot I believe that was either my felon or my flare! Thank you for the support! we will definitely keep working to get vids out!
@@RippinDiscs haha i thought so. i knew i recognized that bushy-tree that KJ hit at worlds! really enjoying the videos, guys keep them coming. God bless.
When holding is in your hand the edge away from you should be tilted up. Make sure you get a little air under it so it doesn’t cut till into the ground! Practice it at a field and you’ll pick it up quick
Regarding Jomez Pro: I commented about all the "Fluff" they're producing. I mentioned they might do a post about what shots it takes to make an 1100 or even 1000 rated round, what are the standards for such a round, and posted on about seven different videos. They deleted EVERY SINGLE ONE. Back to Nazi tactics and censorship I guess, instead of trying to push disc golf like they say, when they ask you for money. Make it accessible to everyone, they say.

Thanks for those kind words! Let us know how the journey back into the game goes!
I like this dude - what a good lesson, telling me exactly what I needed to know about improving my flex shot
New to the sport. UA-cam is my friend :) . Really like what you do and how you do it. Keeping it simple, not too quick, not rushed. Keep it up!
I like your stuff guys, keep it coming.. the flex shot is my favorite, thanks for the hot tips.
Best video I’ve seen about flex shot.
Good video. You remind me of Jordan Spieth. Great explanation, no nonsense. This is a good thing.

Great video!! Nice shot in the basket Hunter!!😊
I’d love a look at how to control the angle on the forehand!
I like the tip about what could go wrong, that helps!
What disc did you use for that forehand flex? Love your vids keep them comin!!

Great video ! Love the explanation! Keep coming!
Thanks guys you are awesome ✌️😎
Do you also want an overstable disc to throw a forehand flex shot? Great video!
A lot has to do with arm speed, if you feel you throw pretty quick then something more over stable, if mid way I would go stable
I noticed that you are at The Fort.
Nice video! Good job guys
Great video! Could you maybe make a video on overhead throws like thumbers and tomahawks?
Yes we can definitely get that done! thanks for the support!!
Great vid!
Good video from The Fort. Thanks.
Great channel guys. Exited about the content.
What Innova disc are you using for the flex shot? It looks like a champion plastic.
That is my firebird if you are talking about the green one
@@RippinDiscs thanks. I have a Star FB. I'll have to try it out for a flex shot.
Was this video filmed at The Fort?
Yes!

Nice 👍 San Diego California
I am interacting by commenting. I like this video.
Flex shots can go far, but hyper flips give you max distance. This is seen by all distance competitions.
what does the forehand angle look like

Super helpful!
When and where can I buy the hat
Haven’t made too many yet! We will keep you posted!
They look awesome
Clean intro
How can I get a hat?
Link is in the description! 🔥🔥🥏
I really like your channel but the tutorials have way too much distracting audio. For me anyways.
if you wanna throw a flex shot buy a Groove, it won't matter how anhyzer you throw it, that thing is gonna flip >.>
That was the first disc I ever threw!
@@RippinDiscs me too! I came from ultimate frisbee and I was very confused when I ripped that thing forehand for the first time

Perhaps a bit too casual use of the word Nazi? It's disc golf.
