- We begin our Tauck Tour today with a visit to the Anchorage Museum, then a drive to Wasilla and Lake Lucille for a float plane ride over the Knik River glaciers, then flying north to Talkeetna landing in Fish Lake. Lizzie drives us to the Mt. Mckinley Princess lodge.
Awesome landing ! I remember how video does no justice to what your seeing with your eyes.
Right. The glaciers were so impressive. Hard to believe they are a (slowly) flowing river. The plane was awesome, more so because I have a 4 foot wingspan RC model of one myself. He touched down so gently we could barely feel it.
