My favorite house design so far. The play on light and how the levels sit within the home is done incredibly well. It's not a glass box house by any means and that's really really attractive.

In many ways I like the design and layout of this house, but the result is a dark and dingy "home". The monotone finish really doesn't help, and perhaps worst is the kitchen area. Lighting seems key to give some texture to this home, but its use is still insufficient to lift the house. A very strange feeling when you like how the home has been designed, but not the finished article.
I say you are so wrong, its a very nieve way of looking at things thinking that everything has to be bathed in light. Its by having darkness one can enjoy the highlights. No offence intended but you need to experience this type of architecture. To appreciate light one needs the dark.

But I also appreciate darkness in my home cinema. There's places for both. And you can use illumination to give you texture, if carefully done. Alas, this house is just too dark. Hence my comment on how there's a lot to like about it, yet not as it's finished.

Liked the layout. Not a big fan of concrete (bare or finished) but use seemed restrained and was used well. But, damn, color scheme is horrid. Please for the love of everything Holy just stop with the gray/black palette. Depressing
Alot of cool elements - only thing I would adjust is the placement of the exterior "gaps" so they do not line up with the windows of the neighboring homes. Personal preference for me but I don't want to feel on display, especially at night - so if the windows don't allow for curtains/blinds, etc. then I would want the gaps angled in such a way that there is little to no visual access into the home from the neighbors. It's no one else's business what your pajamas look like, what your daily routine is, etc.

Yes this is beautiful, but, was it built with sustainable materials, does it power itself, is it 100% fully sustainable and not dependent upon infrastructure? If it is I would suggest you go back to the drawing board and start over. Or since it’s already done you need to get out of your design box and start to design things for our real future.
