    Admiring the ‘aesthetics’ is one way of looking at this collection. What is really crucial, though, is to question the means of this acquisition. How did such antiquities come into the hands of this individual and art dealers? Have they been looted from an archaeological site and their context lost for ever? The material culture excavated from an archaeological site that’s been dug properly by archaeologists and archaeological schools or are part of a university’s research program end up in a museum and we always know the exact provenance and all the relevant info. Unfortunately, even within museums, there are collections that have been acquired by the private collections of individuals, which means acquisition of questionable means.

      Nicole Ruckman Remember this song that was playing when they enter the house. It’s a piano song. Do you happen to know what that song is called?

    A cameraman walking through the entire house with some relaxed sounds would have made this most enjoyable...The ranting seemed so UNkiwi. Sorry guys but you 2 ruined it. The house is spectacular!

      Agree! Too much trying to justify cutting down trees, and explaining how the house makes up for it. That aside, wish they had shown more. Looks like a stunning home!

      What a couple of hypocrites. They live in a self serving echo chamber...If they repeat their selfish beliefs to each other long enough they convince themselves that what they did, whether you agree with it or not, is correct and justifiable.

    Utter Nonsense. Architects being philosophical about how to cut down trees and design a house that represents the stump they left behind.

    What gives people the right to destroy nature only for this
    stupid house ?

    • @HAND0FBL00D

      Just 3 trees were removed

    • @sweeptheleg.
      @sweeptheleg. 3 роки тому +1

      What are you going on about? How does 3 trees constitute destroying nature? You don't have a problem with the nature that was destroyed to build the house or building you currently live in do you? assuming that you do live in a house.
