@@LisaBBoardwine Months have passed, hope all is well with you. I just wonder if I could use Caran d'arche watersoluble wax pastels under the acrylic paint. Perhaps better with wax than oil together with acrylic? Where I live I only find Caran dÄche, not Marabu. Hope the quality is the same. Greetings from Norway. :)
@@JoanMaddie Joan, yes you can use the carand'ache wax crayons with the acrylic paints. The quality is very good with these! Happy Painting!!

WebPictureFrames.com Thanks so much for watching!! Twice!!! Greatly appreciated! Yes! I use the Marabu Mixed Media Art Crayons in my Acrylic paintings and my Oil/Cold Wax paintings. They set up in 24 hours, and sometimes even faster than that! However, if you put anything wet over them-as I did in this video-they will reactivate and become fluid! Which worked nicely in this video! You can use them freely though! This video was speeded up, but in "real" time it definitely takes longer then 18 minutes of course! It varies with each painting, And I do sometimes come back to them later and work on them again!. Just whatever it takes to achieve the look I am going for! Thanks again!
Hi Lisa . I only want to use acrylics and pastels, crayons , but not oils. Did you say , you didn't mix the paints with any medium. Don't tgey dry too quickly ? Love your styleand freedom. Could you give further info. Much appreciated, at the moment I am at a crossroads.

Hi Gina! In this video I did not use any medium in my acrylics. I do sometimes add some medium. I do always spritz my palette too to keep my paints wet as I am working. More acrylic videos coming soon!!! Thank you for tuning in!

Micki, I always use both fluid and heavy-bodied acrylic paints. The Haymarket is a Matisse Background color. Thanks so much for watching!
