Wow awesome video. Love it. Documenting the family adventures to treasure forever ❤. Gotta get in some solo Dad time with the inflatable kayak.

Brotha, amazing videos and content! So cool to see you enjoying the beautiful outdoors with your family. How far out do you cast?

Thank you for watching! Much appreciated! We had a great time out there. I was using a 1/4oz sliding sinker and launching it as far as I could with 4lb test.

Hey David and Sarah! I took a look back at our big bear fishing video and Definitely remember you guys. It’s been around 4 years since that time. I hope all has been good on your end. Baby Amelia is definitely growing quick. Seems like she likes fishing too! Come to think of it, I don’t think we have taken her to big bear yet. Going to have to do that soon. Have you guys been fishing a lot lately?

Again,a very welcoming video start to finish! And the food sequences are essential. Nothing builds the appetite like a good day fishing. Sunscreen on trout moment was cool. Amelia starting to show she knows her way around.

Just got back from June Lake today. It was pretty much windy everywhere all week.Did the float tube at Gull and learned it's not good when the wind starts blowing. If you were to fish the rock at Gull from 6 to 8 pm it is a good time to catch 'em.Also my friend limited out by the reeds with decent sized fish.

Hope you had a great trip out there. Yeah It could get pretty tough when the wind picks up. I've noticed the fish get an extra kick of energy when the sun starts to set. Looking forward to the next trip! Hopefully sooner than later!

It's great to see your video's...feels real life. Not scripted for view count. And the fact that normal ppl can go fish without breaking the budget...Some of these posters I swear their setups they have catching stocked trout cost the same as 1-2 day offshore gear.
    Your daughters pant backside🤣🤣

Thanks for watching much appreciated! Yeah our setups are pretty budget friendly. Doesn’t take much to bring those fish in. As long as my drag isn’t too sticky I’m good. When Amelia watches the video and sees her butt, she laughs and says poopoo lol.

You guys really know how to eat, exactly like me 40 years ago LA style. How is the comfort level of that folding yak?

Lol and we gained some weight too 😆. It was okay for me, I do need to pack a little lighter next time because it felt a little snug. The seat is a little foam pad, I may add a little more cushion.

U guys do pretty dam good just fishing from the shore.
Next time if u r in your kayak/tube try further out from the tules. There is a big drop
Off there. And head out in front of the tennis courtt that u can see at gull.

Definitely will try that next time. The kayak was fun but it was my first time so it was a little wobbly for me. I like that I can move around faster with it opposed to my float tube though. Looking forward to the next trip out there!

Can’t be the tube. I have a Hobie kayak too and I rather float tube. U should try fly fishing. U got the bait and jig/lures down.
Lotta times when the bite slows down u can continue to catch them on the fly.
5/6 wt rod with a full sink line and some buggers. If u do get started I will send u some flies that kick butt.

Awesome! How did you feel on your portable kayak's maiden voyage? Definitely a great lake to try it on :-) Or the Virginia Lakes would be good try it on as well. Soon we will be seeing Amelia reel in a nice trout!

Thank you! I liked how quickly I could move around but I wasn’t fully comfortable on the first trip. There’s some adjustments I need to make for the next one. Definitely Virginia lakes would be nice to use the kayak and Mamie. I’m running out of footage to post so it’s about time to head back out there!

Thank you! Most of the time amazon or whatever tackle shop is near by. Since it’s a popular item it’s usually well stocked. They work pretty well.
