    Great video Robert. Super clear, well described, and visually supported with the underwater shots of the flies. This will definitely improve my streamer fishing.

    Excellent stuff! It's a super idea to see how your different retrieves impact on the action of the fly so much. 👍👍👍

    Hey Robert, great video about the effects on different retrieve styles. I tried it out with mix success but it was more a problem of me not going deep enough but I fixed that. Good stuff !

    Great video Robert, and what a finish with that fish. Will definitely be trying these retrieves on the coast here for bass. Tight lines dude💯🎣🎣🎣🎣

    Coming to iceland for my 3rd time in July! Slowly figuring it out as I come but its hard when I get only a few total hours to stop and cast around family. Hopeful to see more stillwater videos from this incredible place.

    Great work, fun to watch and learn from your videos. Just a beautiful location!
    Can you tell me which chest pack is you are wearing. I haven't seen anything like that in the states.

      @@FlyFishingbyRobert After all these years and there is a lot I have only recently sparked an interest in the intricasies of streamer fishing.Here where I live in Southern England it is often upstream dry fly only and upstream nymphs from July until the season closes on the rivers.I have pulled lures in the saltwater and Lakes/Reservoirs but penny has dropped there is more to it than just pulling per say.👍

    Hi Robert, very well explained video as always. I have a problem with keeping the right tension in some spot where i fish because of high banks. Do you have any advice for help to keep the right tension in this kind of scenarios?

    • @FlyFishingbyRobert
      @FlyFishingbyRobert  7 місяців тому

      Thank you! With a high bank it is difficult. One trick can be to use a super heavy fly for better tension. Otherwise is is to look at the line for the strike.

    • @akaperry5626
      @akaperry5626 7 місяців тому

      @@FlyFishingbyRobert I already use quite heavy fly because of fast current in some part and fortunately the water is always quite clear since it's a chalk stream. Thanks for the reply 👍🏻

    Great video! In the description you've noted that the line you use is 85+ Sink3, but your line on video is yellow/white, while Sink3 are available only in a yellow/black. Are you cheating on us? 🙂

    • @FlyFishingbyRobert
      @FlyFishingbyRobert  7 місяців тому +2

      The line is clearly black in the front and yellow behind.

      I dobt think hes cheating. I think your eyes are cheating yourself 😅 its litterally black in the video and you see it (i guess not for you) - several times lol
