- In this video, Dan Douthart uses the techniques demonstrated in "Basic Spindle Turning (Part 1)" to create a wooden Christmas bell. Dan begins with various safe ways of holding the wood. He follows with showing his process for creating an authentic looking miniature hand bell. Throughout the process he points out the sections where basic spindle techniques are applied to shape the bell. A follow on video will show how to apply a natural finish to the finished bell.
