Peter, thank you so much for this video. I found the supplier, ordered two connectors (good to have a spare), and yesterday, because of your video, was able to effect the swap in just one hour. I'd just changed the oil on my Interceptor (and re-crimped a sender connector), and that took just a bit over an hour -- I say this so others might understand that I'm Ok at this kind of work, but have to take care and take my time so as not to create more problems for myself. But through your guidance, there was no drama, no fuss, no broken bits. And once again, my heated and cooled driver's seat is working! Because of your video and guidance, I had the confidence to do this repair, and likely saved myself $1,000 or more CDN by not having the dealer do the project. Again, thank you!
Hey Adam! I'm glad you managed to get your heated seats working and avoided spending thousands on expensive repairs when it was not required!! I actually read your comment to my wife, as I was chuffed that I was able to help! So thank you and happy motoring! 🙌
They break because the bar in the seat rubs on the ducting. Pull the bar away from it. Using 2 hands and pull. I have done it to all heated/cooled seats. It fixes the problem happening again.
hi peter just wondering did you use the heating element you got as i need one ,tried the link bot out of stock ,i would purchase it from you if you don't need it ,or any idea where id got one ,thanks .
I did the same thing on my L3 22 and I wasn’t able to make it working it kicks in in about four seconds. It stops heating but I did not clear the codes. Maybe I need to do that?
Got my “tube” from Ukraine! Only took about 2weeks surprisingly.. I still need to figure out how to pull out the “middle trim” that runs in between the two seat “circular plastic parts”… no video really makes it clear

Thanks for the video, keep them coming.
Indeed we will Joe! 🙌

Cheers for the tip Gus! I'm going to do that. I just love my heated/ cooled seats! 👌
So my cooling turns on, I want to say it’s now bc of the broken plastic middle piece?
Yes i just ductaped all the midle section and its works like new(plastic was complitli split in half in 3 places)@@RichVonWinkle
good job keep it up👏
Thanks, man! Hope you enjoyed the video 🙌
Believe it or not I used gaffer tape to repair mine. Pulled the Metal bar out a bit. 3 years laters still works no issues. Next to no cost
Fair play. Did it have a big crack in it, or did you catch it in time?
Also how did you casually pop out the side trim? Mine is in there fairly firm… I’ve def breaking something… gotta be a trick?
I can't remember exactly. Definitely though, just push them out. It's rather tight but will work for you.

I didn't use it. Do you still need it?

Did you replace the tube? If not maybe the Peltier cell is faulty?
@@GreenOval_Adventurers
I replaced both
It seems that control MOD ST is the problem
I open it and see that it’s starting to burn
Thats strange if both are replaced. I would think it should be working now. TBH, mine get's very hot!
Great to see the L322 now starting up nicely, so what did you do to get it running?
Tighten the battery, and got the existing one charged. 🙌
What kind of scanner do you use to find the faults?
IID Tool.
Expert 😆
Haha Indeed... 😂 -- I have been enjoying a heated seat all week - it's brilliant!!
Where did you buy the plastic part??
I bought it on eBay!

Amazing! If I remember correctly you just push it out.
