Did mine a couple weeks back too. Amazing bit of tech… it can cool real cold through same unit!

Hmmm electronics. Not my strong suit. But you made it look easy. Looks pretty straight forward

Simple, once you get the seat back off, 3 screws, one electric plug, two clips, done.

Looking for the control module! Are there one or two, where is it/are they situated. Fuses were OK. TIA. Great videos

For the back fan, you can get to it from the rear, there is another one on the seat base. Think that is a seat out to fix it, get access to it, someone will know.

Excellent video, any suggestions as to why I may have no lights on the dash control. Either button (central) or turn control. 2012 hse

For the heater / cooler switches? I’d check the fuses first. Thanks 👍🏻

I have a 2011 RR HSE.. question about removal… once I pull up the rear back seat “flap”, I now have a white color plastic piece that runs along / in between the two exterior end pieces… How do I get that middle plastic out? Videos on YT just say “pull out the ends”… not very helpful and clearly look like something is holding them on. What’s the trick! Thanks

Lever them out, gently, put a screw driver in and push each end over the white cog on the ends, it will come out

Would Airtightness tape fix the issue? Instead of taking it all apart? (ive same issue)

No, it’s been tried and failed. The way the heater unit works requires 100 % seal and the plastic tube would need to come out anyway to attach the tape. Might as well fix it properly.

How long should it take for the seat to heat up?

I’m sure there is a screw or bolt to remove on the inner plastic trim first.

Not on mine,,, white plastic trim clipped in holds the lower sides in place.

It can take a few minutes to warm up properly.

could buy a replacement hose kit, but you won’t know until you take the back off

I recorded it and file was corrupted, so I had to go back out and record again. GoPros 🤷🏼‍♂️
