Range Rover heated seat repair for vented seats - less than £10

The vented seats on some Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models have common failures including a broken vent in the seat back. In this episode I show you how to strip the seat back off easily and repair the split plastic duct that will get your heated seat working again - all for under £10!

For most people with the heated seat fault it’ll be the peltier unit that is faulty. A company in the uk sells a complete unit including the plastic tubing for £150. For me as I have a 2012 they made that corrugated tube better so it doesn’t crack but the peltier fails. You can get them online for €90 I think so still not a lot to fix if needs be.

I just bought a 08 range, was a little worried but I’m fairly mechanically inclined. So far the things I’ve found wrong with it were very common to the model and all have fairly well known somewhat easy fixes. I think they get a worse rep than they should but time will tell. Definitely seems like a more solid rig than the bmws I’ve owned.
