Thanks, girlfriend bought an 06 montana and stereo didn't work in it, stereo fuse was missing, put in new fuse and stereo worked. I was the man, until she put it in drive and ding ding ding every where she drove. Then I knew why the fuse wasn't there. Thanks to your video, dinging stopped and she's happy to manually shut her door for a radio. Thanks to your video I'm the man again!
My door was broke. I could not open it all the way and I could not shut it all the way. After driving to the dealership with the door open and the DINGING, it would have been $1000 to fix the motor and cables! I thought that was crazy! And that was just for one door! Our other door constantly has problems as well. They told me there was no way to make it manual doors. After watching this video, I am a PROUD owner of a van with manual doors. This same fuses work for the 2008 Uplander.
Thank you very much my dad has an 05 Uplander that somebody sideswiped them on the passenger side and they just never used that slider door. Well darn it mom opened it and for the last several days it's been going off. Thank you for the great video it's going to save him a few hundred dollars going to the local mechanic
Thank you for taking the time! Additionally, the doors are much easier to open/close if you cut and remove the guide cable that attaches to the rear track rail.
Thanks very much for your video you're a lifesaver. after an hour of the dinging I had to pull over and Google the solution and your video was the first one.
Thank you!!! This was very useful. I wasn't sure which of the fuses to pull cause it was three different fuses and only two doors. Now I can pull them out with ease....
I can't wait to do this when I get home today...or even when my wife picks me up from work. I agree, this is a stupid design and that dinging noise is annoying as hell! Thanks man... you saved my sanity.
Will this work on the relay as well? Do you think? I have 2005 relay and makes same annoying noise I have to push the button on the side passenger 3 maybe 4 times before the door actually shuts and you can hear it latch. Also my driver slider is stuck shut won’t open at all can’t figure that one out. I saw your video seems very useful
If you open the door, switch the door off from the front then manually close the door it will realign the shutting mechanism. Then turn the doors back on and open/close one time. Should fix your latching problem.
Ha! we did all that! The contacts must have been damaged before we got the van ... cause it is still dinging... This is our last ditch effort before we take it to the used car lot.
does this work on 2009 uplanders? i just got off of work and the dinging started on my way home in the middle of the night! i sure hope this works! my dad has tried EVERYTHING!

You tha man. Although simply pulling 15 amp #21 fuse did the trick.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
My back door wont unlock and i have to manually lock the rest of the doors is there anyway to get back door open
will this work for my ‘02 Honda Civic?
I love you. Thank you so much
Can you just remove the fuses for the doors (24 & 25)? Or is 21 to stop the dinging?
If you "maintain" them they work fine, lube weatherstrip, latches, rollors, clean the contacts. Regular maintenance type stuff!
Ha! we did all that! The contacts must have been damaged before we got the van ... cause it is still dinging... This is our last ditch effort before we take it to the used car lot.
