@@minuette1752 and i dont understand why you dont want ynnead walking around, it develops the setting into something fresh and interesting. slaanesh is well trodden ground and if she dies itll shake up the world alot more.
Getting a video about how each of the pre heresy primarchs would have reacted to and ruled their own imperium as Guilliman did would be pretty interesting ngl
Your video on how to unfuck the Eldar lore was really good and sounded epic. I'm a space marine player, but have always liked the Eldar models and their lore. They've been needing some love for a decade now. I hope GW starts showing them some respect real fucking soon.
The Ynnari lore could have been such a great addition for mroe diversity in factions. I was praying to get demon eldars after ynnead replacing slaanesh after a huge beating.
One way GW could continue the Ynnari/Ynnead lore is have the Ynnari attempt the ritual without all the crone swords, which does awaken Ynnead, but in kind of a premature birth sort of way. Ynnead is still strong, but needs some time to grow and develop its strength by absorbing dying Eldar instead of Slaneesh. This allows the plot to advance and Ynnead to live up to the anti-Slaneesh idea while not totally flipping the setting on its head
If Ynnead is hyper focused on fighting Slaneesh specifically, I can see other Chaos Gods helping them out in order to weaken Slaneesh, a rival of theirs.
Ynnead wakes: “I am become Death, destroyer of worlds.” Khorne: “I like this one, I’ma help him out.” Nurgle: “He can have what fails my pretty plagues.” Tzeentch: “Hey, Slaanesh, ready for this change? 😂” Slaanesh: “…I hate you guys.”
*one epic, warp-shaking battle later, an exhausted but triumphant Ynnead tries to catch his breath…and is decapitated by Khorne, incinerated by Tzeentch and his ashes are scattered over Nurgle’s garden…and then it turns out Slaanesh was just playing dead.* *Because Grimdark*
Lore: Eldar are dying, The necrons feel like doing shit again, The Imperium is stagnant, and everybody else is on the rise because of course they are. Tabletop: Eldar are the most comically dominant faction of the current meta and don’t feel like getting nerfed correctly, Necrons sometimes never die, The imperium is partly middling and partly hellblasters shooting on death and then standing back up after death, and everybody else is weaker than they previously were because of course they are.
I think It would be cool if Ynnead didn't kill or weaken slaanessh, but freed the eldar pantheon and making every soul of eldar a battle with Slaannesh. Giving more hope to the Eldar. I still want them to thematically be similar, but change perspective slightly. The Dark Eldar still need to be slavers and brutal, but more selective about it influencing the newly released Eldar deities to being twisted versions of themselves. While the Craftworlders seek to colonize planets where the Maiden worlds and their ideology and sense of who they are is making the Eldar Deities more like their previous selves so the deities are slightly schizophrenic
What would happen if the eldar could rescue Isha from nurgle? With the Emperor burning his garden down, it seems they have a better shot of doing so than before.
Slight spoiler funny you mentioned that… the eldar have tried before (if my memory serves me correct) and completely failed, with nurgle turning them into trees
So fun little fact most people overlook. Ynnead is a twin sibling to slaanesh. Slaanesh was born of the excess of the eldar and killed trillions with his birth. That birth immediately caused Ynnead to exist a moment afterwards. Ynnead is at least equivalent to peak slaanesh. Essentially the ynnari would just be a faction no bigger than the emperor's children but for the eldar. Gw fucked up big time with missing out on this.
We still have resin kits? Oh Jesus! I’ve really grown to appreciate the eldar over the years. There is so much here. I see your understanding of the lord and would love to see what you could do to salvage Thorpes miscomings
Guy Hayley was probably supervised by Geedubs on the Ynnari trilogy, but he could do it if left alone imo. He wrote _Dark Imperium_ and _Genefatehr_ after all. ;/
Your passion for the eldar is well received. It’s not some fan boys wish n dream, but a look into an interesting aspect of 40k with loads of potential. While watching, I wondered if the dark eldar that joined their god death would continue being pirates pillaging worlds to be killed in their new lords name, to feed it more death.
Bringing in an Eldar death godess would be similar to GW confirming that the Emperor has a God-like aspect in the warp. He would sort of be the human God of death but also of Imperial hope. I know they tried to do a similar thing with some gestating Tau God which protected part of a fleet trapped in the warp. I think Ynnead wouldn't russle up the setting too much and actually work to simplify a few things for Eldar afterlife which is a crazy topic. I think her birth can also be 'simulated' in a way, not by killing all the Eldar but by every Eldar in the galaxy entering the Webway or some Necron analog for a time. This way the material world would miss the psychic presence of so many beings that this creates a reaction that drains some power from Slaanesh into Ynnead, who according to warp lore already exists and has always existed because it is created in the future. This wouldnt kill Slaanesh because there are still billions or trillions of other souls who can be tempted towards excess and feed her unwittingly. But upon the reaction starting through basically tricking the material realm into thinking all the Eldar are actually dead by hiding them in the webway or Necron analog which then tricks the warp, the Eldar can then release all their Craftworld Infinity Circuits souls and the world spirits. This would work to turn Ynneads creation into a runaway reaction and complete the birthing process possibly calming the warp storms and great rift. This would again simplify things by bring Imperium Nihilus back into the fold allowing them to once again see the Astronimicon and in turn lead to unimpeded warp travel just lile after the birth of Slaanesh.
Ynnead would most likely eat Slaanesh and their power but keeping Slaanesh themself alive in him, basically keeping them in stasis and in constant pain (and pleasure)
Probably nothing change...oter than the Eldar get hope. The souls slanesh consumed its done. So probably get her and Isha so they can generate new eldars maybe.
Make an Imperial Hero claim the final chromesword, Ynarri wakes, but don't kill Slaneesh. Then make the Eldari realise that Ynarri is kind of a piece of shit as he wants to consume their souls for his fight against Slaneesh. Then balance it by the Necrons and Imperium defeat Hive Fleet Leviathan (so we wait until the next hive fleet arrives) then the Drukhari and Necrons fight for like 10 years irl. So they both weaken a shit ton so it's all balanced.
Perhaps one of Slaanesh’s minions steals the crone sword and ends up losing it to someone or to something which now gives the Eldar a chance to retrieve it. Maybe it ends up in a sector that’s overrun by Orks or Necrons. Or maybe even ends up in Trazyn’s collection.
A video about how each Primarch met their legions for the first time would be dope on a rope. And to keep carrying the torch... How would each Primarch recat to waking up instead of Robute.
GW is so "great" at writing lore for every other faction except the Eldar. In almost every book and game I've played that had Eldar in it, it really just comes down to the Eldar just getting absolutely wrecked by the main protagonist or some other antagonist. It's like they don't even stand a chance, and it's goddamn infuriating sometimes. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go to the wall to be executed by the regimental Commisar for liking xenos.
I feel like someone somewhere had a plan, but then the powers that be panicked when they saw the Eldar were getting progress and reneged on the thing. Lol
I think it would hurt the Prince of Pleasure, but it wouldn't wipe him out. He's been around drinking souls for far too long. The Eldar have been dwindling for thousands of years now. So it would likely take quite a while for the Eldar Gods to regain some kind of power to challenge the Chaos Gods. You also have to consider if any of the Chaos gods might jump in on Slaanesh's side or against her.
Hello Majorkill, Would you please make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, the Ecclesiarchy, and the High Lords of Terra? Pretty please? Thank you.
Kaldor Draigo (maybe Russ could lend a hand too) could probably get the MacGuffin from Slaanesh's palace and give it to the Eldar for shits and giggles. And copious amounts of warpdust. That's probably more of a TTS plotline though
If Ynnead is able to bring back the Eldar's ability to resurrect then it would be a huge boon as it would allow the Eldar to attack more boldly and recklessly like the Tyrannids because any that die will just be resurrected by Ynnead and thus every battle will be a net-zero loss in lives.
Attempted Number 3: What if the Primarchs where found in the order of their creation. So the Lion was first and Horus was nearly last. I think that could change quite a bit, don't you think?
Superb video as always @majorkill. Could you make a video dedicated to the Navigators, the major houses, their politics, relation to the overall Imperium and factions, etc?
If slaneesh dies most likely the Drukari will accidentally creat another demon god of pain and toture gradually while the Craft world Eldar will want to settle scores with everybody without fearing their souls being eaten.
If GW doesn’t want to kill off slaanesh then all they gotta do is just revive ynnead have him not actually kill her but just remove her grip on the souls of the eldar
This is a big part of why, even though i love the lore, I've never bothered reading the novels. There is so many things set up they can never actually let the authors allow to happen. They almost need a "What if" like series now so they can at least pay off something they have set up at least instead of just constantly "hey, wouldn't it be cool if this happened, it never will but you can just imagine how cool right?"
On the topic of the eldar using a power source to finish waking Ynnead up, seeing the eldar get into a huge fight with the necrons over a ctan shard would be dope. It would be nice to see their rivalry reawaken in the current setting, and a ctan shard would be a perfect power source to roid up a half awake eldar god.
Yes UA-cam, this is a video about World of Warcraft by Majorkill, discussing the very real character in the lore, Ynnead. The AELDARI god of the death, or something. The Emperor Protects.
I think i came up with the most batshit insane ynnari book series ever. The ynnari is split into four groups to acomplice something to save the eldar. One group would retry the attempt to save isha from nurgle with the help of the gegorath and the harlequins One group will go and evacuate commorragh which is slowly getting destroyed by daemons because of the great rift while finding dhukari "worth saving" One group lead by eldrad will go and collect as many shards of khaine as possible while being chased by a united night lords army led by decimus. And the last group will strike a bargain with khorne to send his daemon and world eater warbands with the help of the king in yellow and his army to break into slaanesh palace to take the key. I might have taken things a bit to far but what do you think?
It would be interesting if the more occult subfaction of Imperium with connection to either King in Yellow's dominion, Star Child's sphere of influence or any other Emperor fragments' active moving circuits in The Warp to able to resist and temporarily worked together with chaos daemon groups and warbands to fight another, with the risks of these Warp-based subfactions'can be permanently killed in trying to achieving their goals I think The Warp able to bring daemons back to life all while most of realspace-oriented factions can't get regenerative powers like that perpetually is unfair yet stupidly written, just like Lucius, Erebus and other scumbags still lives in 40th Millennium settings or how Magnus still being major pushover, or even Khaine's avatars still being even bigger pushover, or how this could pieces more lore to make Ynnead a significant thing to emerge as new competing factions and refreshed the entire tabletop factions' and subfactions' dynamics, readjusting and balancing it for more players to join in and play the tabletop game systems But that would require good planning and management, Idk if GW even have that level of initiative and enthusiasm to shakes up and improve further the settings to make their "End Times" even smoother tbh
Hey bud! I wanted to say I bought 3 of your mins (Krork, Swarm Lord, and 3 warriors) all them are phenomenal!! Imma order to support your stuff bud!! Cheers homie!
Wait a minute: to awaken Ynnead the Eldar need to sacrifice a source of power. Jaghatai Khan is a Primarch and Primarchs have extremely powerful souls. And Jaghatai is being kept by either the Dark Eldar or Ceogorach. I hate to say it but it’s not looking so good for Jaghatai.
There's one funny thought I had: Guilliman does a ballsy move, and he personally retrieves the last sword from Slaanesh's palace. Just to get him some of that Aldari nookie!
I never thought that one day I would watch a video about speculation of sci-fi fiction that was presented by a guy that looks like he belongs in Miami Vice. Amazing what style of shirt can do to man.
Also, if Ynnead wake up, every eldars psykers would become much MUCH stronger because it would lift Slannesh curse on their souls. Thus, the eldars would become a real opponant for the Imperium, Tyrannids, orks, etc., without being broken.
Wake up a new elf God with the potential to pull an end times on Slaanesh in future editions, dramatically changing chaos as a whole, the dark eldar, and possibly being fulgrim into the setting as Slaanesh's champion trying to stop it, or wake up the lion and give us new tyranid units? Hmm...
The eldar just need to hire a merc. Not Sly Marbo, though. They need to hire that little girl who breached Tzeentch's house. Which isn't even supposed to be possible. So if anybody could waltz in and take the sword, she could.
Most interesting way I could see the final krone sword being reclaimed is for Fulgrim to steal it tricking a greater demon into doing his dirty work for him. It would work perfectly as Fulgrim is set to return to realspace. As he does equip with the crone sword he is beset by thousands of eldar and even the combined champions of all three gods. Two avatars and a contingency of harlequins and solitar. All perish but the blade is recovered as fugrim is pushed back to warpspace. Or nurgle might be willing to attack slaanesh as a gift to isha if she agrees to devolve secrets about eldar biology that might make them more susceptible to his influence.
Eldar already dabble a lot in necromancy (spirit stones, wraithlords, phoenix lord armor, all kinds of Drukhari blasphemies, etc) so having a cult go full death/undeath wouldn’t be too out of character. Plus ripping the Eldari soul slurry right out of Slaanesh’s gullet gives a looooot of ‘material’ to work with but would sideline a chaos god (granted, it’s the biggest PR problem of the 4)
Just see your video to fixe the aeldar and it quite amazing! In fact I would even pay just to see yvrai closing the portal like "okay now we're safe guy's" and then realise while turning back that everyone is mind shocked by just appearing in front of the most absolute powerful psyker of the galaxy! XD would also be a great cleef anger and have many possibilities. Especially since the emperor know eldrad and is probably more interted in ba'ging at least one chaos god and get him or more of his son's back than just kill usefully eldar.

@@albino478gaming5 I will never understand why people do not want Slaanesh around. It keeps things interesting.
@@albino478gaming5Maybe Ynnead would duel Slaanesh and both would be weakened greatly,.
You think he’ll do this video before another loyalist primarch gets brought back?

Your video on how to unfuck the Eldar lore was really good and sounded epic. I'm a space marine player, but have always liked the Eldar models and their lore. They've been needing some love for a decade now.
I hope GW starts showing them some respect real fucking soon.
Their codex comes out next year. I want it to be good, but considering how things have been, I do not have high hopes.
Might still upend the great game tho
If Ynnead is hyper focused on fighting Slaneesh specifically, I can see other Chaos Gods helping them out in order to weaken Slaneesh, a rival of theirs.
Ynnead wakes: “I am become Death, destroyer of worlds.”
Khorne: “I like this one, I’ma help him out.”
Nurgle: “He can have what fails my pretty plagues.”
Tzeentch: “Hey, Slaanesh, ready for this change? 😂”
Slaanesh: “…I hate you guys.”

A video about each time the chaos gods spoke/interacted with someone directly would be pretty cool I think
Except tabletop gsc, they’re still cracked.
What if Isha marries the Emperor and make lil babies together? Love can bloom in the warp
Slight spoiler
funny you mentioned that… the eldar have tried before (if my memory serves me correct) and completely failed, with nurgle turning them into trees
Bring back Timmy, or else! Or else means, me running around your living room naked, covered in green jello.
0:35 I thought this was the moment Timmy makes his triumphant return.
Getting a video about how each pre heresy primarch would have reacted to being in Guillimans position as imperial regent sounds like a cool idea, plz
GW finishing plot points for xenos races? Impossible.
He wrote _Dark Imperium_ and _Genefatehr_ after all. ;/
More Eldar stuff would be great
Watch out, I can hear the imperium fanboys screeching
I'm Ngl the stellaris music you always have playing in the background lowkey fits warhammer really well when lore dumping.
It would probably be like sigmar where slannesh gets trapped but still alive
Ynnead would most likely eat Slaanesh and their power but keeping Slaanesh themself alive in him, basically keeping them in stasis and in constant pain (and pleasure)
Probably nothing change...oter than the Eldar get hope. The souls slanesh consumed its done. So probably get her and Isha so they can generate new eldars maybe.
@catodes1295 you just can't win with slannesh the shite enjoys everything especially vore
Oh Slaanesh is easy to defeat/torture.
Just put it in an empty featureless void. With no sensations, not even their own.
A request for you to explore what point in time each faction would return in the lore to if they could to right their biggest mistakes.
If Slaneesh is gone, Lucius loses his plot armor and can now die like the pansy coward he is.
So let's awaken Ynnead!
Tarvitz should've killed that worm
Perhaps one of Slaanesh’s minions steals the crone sword and ends up losing it to someone or to something which now gives the Eldar a chance to retrieve it. Maybe it ends up in a sector that’s overrun by Orks or Necrons. Or maybe even ends up in Trazyn’s collection.
A video about how each Primarch met their legions for the first time would be dope on a rope.
And to keep carrying the torch... How would each Primarch recat to waking up instead of Robute.
Ynnead claps Slaanesh; The resurgent Eldari empire claps everybody; Slaanesh is reborn from the call of cheeks being clapped
Hey there's nothing heretical for liking juicy eldar mommy gfs...oh oh the inquisitor found me

Imagine Yanned gets charmed by Slaanesh's perfection during their fight and they make out then Slaanesh get pregnant and creates a godly warp-baby 💀 😅
I feel like someone somewhere had a plan, but then the powers that be panicked when they saw the Eldar were getting progress and reneged on the thing. Lol
I swear Majorkill is the only UA-camr who actually enjoys the products that the companies that sponsor him sell. >
*Ynnead stumbling around with glazed eyes and a heavy buzz* : 😮💨😮💨😮💨
I think it would hurt the Prince of Pleasure, but it wouldn't wipe him out. He's been around drinking souls for far too long. The Eldar have been dwindling for thousands of years now. So it would likely take quite a while for the Eldar Gods to regain some kind of power to challenge the Chaos Gods. You also have to consider if any of the Chaos gods might jump in on Slaanesh's side or against her.

Would you please make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, the Ecclesiarchy, and the High Lords of Terra? Pretty please? Thank you.

Kaldor Draigo (maybe Russ could lend a hand too) could probably get the MacGuffin from Slaanesh's palace and give it to the Eldar for shits and giggles. And copious amounts of warpdust. That's probably more of a TTS plotline though

@Majorkill Love your videos, you should consider making long videos for people who like to sleep listening to Warhammer 40k lore 😄

Last Crone sword, Kaldor Drago kicks in Slanmeshs front door asking about tangerines. Walks in slaps around some demons takes the sword.
Games workshop: “yeah let’s just redact the whole thing and start over”
Me: “wait wut”
If slaneesh dies most likely the Drukari will accidentally creat another demon god of pain and toture gradually while the Craft world Eldar will want to settle scores with everybody without fearing their souls being eaten.
If GW doesn’t want to kill off slaanesh then all they gotta do is just revive ynnead have him not actually kill her but just remove her grip on the souls of the eldar
This is a big part of why, even though i love the lore, I've never bothered reading the novels. There is so many things set up they can never actually let the authors allow to happen. They almost need a "What if" like series now so they can at least pay off something they have set up at least instead of just constantly "hey, wouldn't it be cool if this happened, it never will but you can just imagine how cool right?"
i feel its with all factions we need more books and lore with each faction getting wins and loses so it feels more like an actual war
I was really excited when he mentioned a piece of the channel was missing... thought it was the highly swooned after return of Timmy.

If ynnead ever woke up and saw the fit major has on he would know the imperium has won
I lovely slowly watching MajorKill turn into a pop star.
I think i came up with the most batshit insane ynnari book series ever.
The ynnari is split into four groups to acomplice something to save the eldar.
One group would retry the attempt to save isha from nurgle with the help of the gegorath and the harlequins
One group will go and evacuate commorragh which is slowly getting destroyed by daemons because of the great rift while finding dhukari "worth saving"
One group lead by eldrad will go and collect as many shards of khaine as possible while being chased by a united night lords army led by decimus.
And the last group will strike a bargain with khorne to send his daemon and world eater warbands with the help of the king in yellow and his army to break into slaanesh palace to take the key.
I might have taken things a bit to far but what do you think?
It would be interesting if the more occult subfaction of Imperium with connection to either King in Yellow's dominion, Star Child's sphere of influence or any other Emperor fragments' active moving circuits in The Warp to able to resist and temporarily worked together with chaos daemon groups and warbands to fight another, with the risks of these Warp-based subfactions'can be permanently killed in trying to achieving their goals
I think The Warp able to bring daemons back to life all while most of realspace-oriented factions can't get regenerative powers like that perpetually is unfair yet stupidly written, just like Lucius, Erebus and other scumbags still lives in 40th Millennium settings or how Magnus still being major pushover, or even Khaine's avatars still being even bigger pushover, or how this could pieces more lore to make Ynnead a significant thing to emerge as new competing factions and refreshed the entire tabletop factions' and subfactions' dynamics, readjusting and balancing it for more players to join in and play the tabletop game systems
But that would require good planning and management, Idk if GW even have that level of initiative and enthusiasm to shakes up and improve further the settings to make their "End Times" even smoother tbh

Loving all the new videos. Please don't burn yourself out.
I hope, that after ynnead deals with slaanesh, he will kill the emperor.
Also, if Ynnead wake up, every eldars psykers would become much MUCH stronger because it would lift Slannesh curse on their souls. Thus, the eldars would become a real opponant for the Imperium, Tyrannids, orks, etc., without being broken.
"GW don't want to shake things up -for the Eldar- " FTFY
A being that would give salvation and hope to the Eldar from Slit Nich is one that needs made official. All races need a hope plot.
Glad to see MajorKill enjoying his Super Saiyan arc
we just need to fish Trazyn's giant space bell out of the Webway and throw it at Ynnead's head, surely that will wake em up
Wake up a new elf God with the potential to pull an end times on Slaanesh in future editions, dramatically changing chaos as a whole, the dark eldar, and possibly being fulgrim into the setting as Slaanesh's champion trying to stop it, or wake up the lion and give us new tyranid units? Hmm...
Ah my morning Warhammer content. All is well with the world
Video idea: All the times in lore the Emperor has been wounded
Imagine eldar closing the webway under the imperial palace and help the emperor, and emperor in return give them extra buff to do the heist.
The eldar just need to hire a merc. Not Sly Marbo, though. They need to hire that little girl who breached Tzeentch's house. Which isn't even supposed to be possible. So if anybody could waltz in and take the sword, she could.
The New rate of videos uploaded is like God's gift
I heard people pronounce Ynnead as "Ya-need" and my brain went to "Ya need deez nuts".
Eldar
Why do I have the sinking feeling of even if Ynnead does awaken, the Eldar DEATH god won’t exactly be too healthy for the LIVING Eldar.
Eldar already dabble a lot in necromancy (spirit stones, wraithlords, phoenix lord armor, all kinds of Drukhari blasphemies, etc) so having a cult go full death/undeath wouldn’t be too out of character. Plus ripping the Eldari soul slurry right out of Slaanesh’s gullet gives a looooot of ‘material’ to work with but would sideline a chaos god (granted, it’s the biggest PR problem of the 4)
My man Major looking CLEAN
Just see your video to fixe the aeldar and it quite amazing! In fact I would even pay just to see yvrai closing the portal like "okay now we're safe guy's" and then realise while turning back that everyone is mind shocked by just appearing in front of the most absolute powerful psyker of the galaxy! XD would also be a great cleef anger and have many possibilities. Especially since the emperor know eldrad and is probably more interted in ba'ging at least one chaos god and get him or more of his son's back than just kill usefully eldar.
