He has no taste! She produced the last Desrhunter album - I saw Cate on that tour - only went for her but also liked Deerhunter. In my opinion Cate is on a very high level as an artist, and this album (Reward) is not everything she does - 'Mug Museum' is very different. What I love is her sense of experimentation mixed with a great sense of melody and instrumentation. She even released a strangely otherworldly, trippy EP reworking of Reward called Here It Comes Again. Just amazing stuff.
It feels so prescient. ‘Never be the same again / no way / falling skies, people are bored’. So fucking sad gigging is off the menu along with so much else that brings joy to life.

The mobey for the tickets I gave instead to a well known homeless man crying in rhe rain as the cardbroke beneath him disintergeated what a disgrace our politicans are to enable homlessness or offer appaling homes as fit to live in .
I'm glad for the human race that at least 65 of them openly admire this staggeringly great artist. There's some small hope.
