I left because I couldn't afford to support two houses after my husband passed and my volunteer time is needed in MN whereas there are many retired people to fill volunteering needs in Green Valley. No matter how active you are, or inactive you become, you will age along with others still able to participate in numerous skill-level activities.
Yes there are rentals in Green Valley. The taxes in Green Valley are about 20% less then the surrounding communities like Sahuarita because Green Valley don’t pay for the schools. The properties are taxed at 0.8% of the homes value. GV offers many golf courses.
Thank you for that. I am 60 and considering selling my home here on the east coast to relocate and retire. I’m interested in AZ but I don’t know much about any of the cities and neighborhoods. I am definitely looking for a quiet peaceful diverse atmosphere. Thanks again for your videos and response.
