Great video, I'm getting one next year. Is it really ok to submerge the motor and battery in a river? I know pressure washers are a no-go, but motors and batteries don't like submersion generally. Or is it totally sealed and waterproof? Thanks.
On second thought. I will not be buying one..yet. Upon seeing it in the flesh, there is one thing so many reviews don't mention. The battery is on the front of the downtube and is attached with six, yes, I counted them, six small allen key bolts. It takes some time to remove and if it's caked in mud, good luck not stripping one of the bolts. One of the key aspects to an Emtb is in my mind, the ability to quickly remove the battery via key-into-a-lock mechanism to take it in for charging. Theres no lock on the Orange battery either. For some reason they decided to put the power button on the underside of the battery in the most stupid place possible. Orange, did you put ANY thought into this? Hopefully they can correct these issues for the 2020 models. Jamie Mackereth
