Love that you do tac stance builds. I'm having a lot of fun with that on the small maps in Hardcore. War gameplay is fun to see too, this new map is really cool.
I know not many people will care for a review in zombies, but I gotta say this smg slaps in there. No attachments just the base triple pack can carry you hard. Now it’s not TYR levels of hard, but you don’t expect it from an smg. I hate to say it I was that odd f2000 enjoyer back in the OG MW2 and while I liked it in this, god damn this smg blew it out of the water in zombies.
It gets a surprising amount of kills at range when you mix in headshots. Really feels like a real SMG, most of the launch SMGs felt like inferior pea shooters.
It does. The BAS-P actually feels amazing in a similar way, believe it or not. I know no one really cares about the MW2 guns but I recently finished Interstellar so I'm just goofing around, and some of them are surprisingly good.

I'm glad they didn't touch my baby, I'm confident I could pull my MW19 Ram-7 out right now in Warzone no matter the meta and still slap fools around with her. Ol' Faithful.
This is easily my favorite SMG. It has an incredible stat spread that really doesn't leave it with any weaknesses. It's by far the best all purpose SMG which makes it feel viable on a much wider range of maps and situations than other SMGs. It used to be I would really only use SMG's on tiny maps like Shipment, but I can feel pretty comfortable taking the RAM-9 into most maps. It sort of plays like a middle ground between an SMG and AR.
While not feeling as punchy as the Fennec did in MW2, I feel like with the recoil we get and the fact that the best things you could do on the Fennec were add a drum and control the vertical kick for attachments a "Requirement". I don't think it needs any real nerfing since when you can keep on target you can kill fast, but your RPM burns even larger mags, making multi person engagements less desirable, trickier or then require more down time on the reload.
Can you also add the reload times in for when you’re using “Mag Holster” or “Gunner Vest” with the new weapons? I know the holster and vest aren’t always worth using so it’d be nice to see what difference they make when using them. Thank you 😁
Very good SMG, I like when DLC guns are top tier to switch up the meta and freshen up the game. If anything needs changed maybe the headshot multiplier could reduced on the ram 9, to require 2 headshots to make it 4 shot.
They did a good job with these DLC guns this time around. Both are great in multiplayer, little bit strong, but also have tradeoffs from the meta choices. Only complaint would be the bp50 being a little weak in WZ. Its decent, but WZ needs stronger ARs other than just the RAM 7 and this was the opportunity for it.

I loved the LC10 in Cold War (ofc) and as soon as I started using this weapon it felt like getting transported back to 2021. I even went back and watched Ace's old LC10 video from and my feelings were correct. What's wild is that the LC10 was added in the Season 2 update just like the RAM-9. So if the trend continues we should expect a nerf in the future, I'm just guessing it may come before Season 5 this time lol
I hate how thieve two new weapons are essentially behind a paywall. They’re the best in the game and take forever to unlock without buying the battle pass, yet if you buy it you unlock the guns almost instantly
Dang, so they're just not even pretending to release balanced guns anymore. Release them super strong and fix them later, I guess. Keep people logging in to buy the battle pass. Basically best TTK, best range, best movement speed, best hipfire, better than average ADS, fine reload, and a bit of recoil. This thing is a monster and there's no way they didn't know that before release. Same with the BP50, that thing is also insane.
Maybe its just me, but I checked that barrel because I had been using it. Boreal, kimura, retort 90, hvs, mk3. Swapped the boreal for the shadow strike. It seems like the boreal actually helps control recoil quite a bit. But idk. There is definitely a lot bugs with this stuff.

A lot of the numbers refer to the caliber of bullet fired in game. MTZ for instance has the .556 and .762 variant, the ram 9 fires 9mm ammo. But yes I agree, it is confusing.

Random question, how would you feel about them making guns only able to damage killstreaks by equipping ammunition attatchments that deal vehicle damage?
I think they should always be able to deal some damage to streaks but I’d love to see a very noticeable reduction in vehicle damage from bullets unless you’re using ammo designed for that. It’s currently far too easy to take out streaks without needing to tailor your load out for that purpose

I don't understand but my underbarrel attachments are different than everyone else's I don't have the ftac angled grip the dr6 handstop.. or the skeletal which is what every build I saw called for but not one is in my selection
@Darkhalo314 I've unlocked littleraly every attachment in the entire game besides unreleased or attachments that show up locked but have no challenge to unlock them. It's been a while, but I think at the time, I just needed to reload the game

Anyone here getting AS VaL vibes from the Ram 9, like think about it it has the damage of an AR, movement of a melee weapon, and fire rate of the wsp swarm and it has very little recoil this guns defiantly catching a nerf
So just to make sure I've got this right, it has a 200ms ADS with a theoretical TTK of 195ms to 325ms, for a total engagement TTK of 395ms to 525ms? In otherwords I can ADS and kill an enemy player faster than most sniper rifles can even ADS. Yeah, sounds perfectly balanced to me.
This gun is only good up close mid to long people just don’t die could have something to do with how wonky the server has been I would lag into a wall with 14 ping

this thing is better than its AR counterpart. there are guns that deserve that 1 shot less with a headshot but the ram9 is not one of them. they really nerfed the damage on the HMR-9 just to make the very next smg they release 5 shot beyond the 19m they just nerfed that one by..plus it only needs 1 HS to decrease the shots to kill.. who is balancing this game?
Yeah a fast ttk or really accurate gun shouldn't benefit from 1 headshot up close. It's why the MCW is so easy to use. I was hoping we'd get more weapon balance from the update but maybe in a few days they'll do more.

Weapons with higher DPS and headshot multiplyers usually do goodbin mwz. Recoil doesn't matter too much cuz you can always slap on BFB.

Ram-9 is based on X95/MTAR so this is basically the SMG version of the TAR-21 but have different color palettes and doesn’t look like it

I feel like the RAM-9 is one of the upper tier SMGs in the game. Competitive TTK via torso shots up close is all I think of.
I love the mtar in games and this is a top five smg mtar I’ve used in any fps

Tac stance build and more… i even didn’t believe will be a laser and a monster too.
Honestly I built for pure tac stance and it has zero recoil and my strafe speed is absolutely insane.
this gun is awesome! just needs that 50 round mag and some horizontal recoil control on it :P
