Just a note for Sorrow, if you get knocked up in the air like at 4:40 while Sorrow's defiance bar is up, if you are already out of CC skills or they are on cooldown, you can whip open your glider and use the gliding skill unstable magic volley (the second one). It does 200 defiance damage.
PSA: Unless ANet fixed it, having an active effect of Nayos Relic (the one that makes you big and strong) will prevent you from using unstable magic skills. Very annoying.
One quick edit I would suggest... the Kryptis Siege always spawn in clockwise sequence starting from Bottom left. The siege team doesn't need to return until they complete the rotation from bottom left to bottom right(unless the area is finished). They can take care of the siege faster if they do not return to middle until the rotation is complete. There are leylines to assist you completing the rotation if you have the leyline riding mastery.
10 per corner zone, with 10 in the center I have found works best. Half the center can go kill siege if needed. Mentioning that the Boss drops essences every 10% and when it phases would be a good idea. Also mentioning the differences between the 2 a big more to let people know Sorrow is more difficult etc.
sorrow drop essences every 10% hp, NOT when the cc bar breaks. i feel like a lot of ppl still doesnt know this, the "break cc bar fast" is to stop it from pushing ppl away and downing ppl (which makes them loose their essences), making it easier to dps, but its not the be all end all. i just run public and so many ppl claim cc is slow when it was fine, just ppl not doing enough dps even after the bar's broken. i also switch to an alac heal build if it ends up being sorrow. most ppl go in as dps and gets downed a lot, resulting in loss of essence. so switching to my preferred heal build works fairly well for me. ive thus far only had one fail on sorrow, and it was because of low dps (normal cc break), so it wasnt dropping essences (i didnt understand at that time, after the fail i asked on map chat and thats when i found out its every 10%). otherwise reminding ppl it drops essence every 10% was useful - i think ppl who are confused why it didnt drop essence after a breakbar stops attacking cuz of the confusion 😂 two nights ago we were about to fail (zojja stuck at only 30% hp, and someone complaining about breakbar), i reminded ppl its essence every 10% - and then suddenly the dude complaining about breakbar shuts up and dps increased dramatically 😂 and we finished eaaaasily.
island bosses scale hard, you really dont need more than 10 people (and can easily do the first level ones with much less so split up) on each island. In fact, the more you split up, the better.

I was wondering why the essence bar kept vanishing even though I know collected them I didn't know about the stacking showing up as an icon, that's very useful to know! Would you consider doing a short PSA for the Skywatch Archipelago Meta's "Purge Lyhr's Corruption" stage of the event? The earlier stages are all clear enough, but the final stage of the meta is still _obscure_ to me (sorry, couldn't resist). The wiki description doesn't help much on details like what makes the memory snare lose 'power' and if you can restore it what does the 'corruption extracted' bar mean etc. And I think mentioning any tips like clicking on 'Lyhr's Sanity' in the upper right in order to target it at the end (when it's completely impossible to see with all the skyscales around it) would be helpful.
my group starts much like you, split into 10 groups of 5 with quick alac and dps but then when we split 2 stay at center and then 2 go to each corner so there are 10 people at each location. i havent lost a single attempt.
Did I got it right that you can buy those 18k essences for obsidian armor from TP with undtable coffers and motivations? Sure it would take about 1700g. This could speed up things a lot. So I would actually keep those motivations. For myself.
One thing I wish you had mentioned: your skyscale's "siege" fireball does basically no damage vs the enemy "siege" engines. Just get off your mount and murderize them like you would anything else.
It is probably obvious, but having many stacks of harbringer's blight AND kryptis essence in the same time, will make you very brittle. Like 7k hp? I personally run ̶b̶a̶d̶ dragon gear in every hole on my holosmith. Remember, when you are in downstate, you lose all your essences, which means less damage and less healing for Zojja. It make sence to compensate HP debuff with your gear, makes whole experience more smooth.
Wait, I was told there would be a Bobblehead Zojja CoNVerGiNg in the thumbnail! My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. The strategic overview at 1:25 and the various dynamic highlights of your screen are lit, though. :)
Would be nice to be such an influential commander. When I play, no one cares about what commander says and just runs after the marker like sheep. Such "sophisticated" techniques as forming balanced teams and doing assigned roles are impossible in public convergences 😆
Worth noting that if there are healers they can be prioritized to take middle. There's not that much threat of Zojja dying in an organized group but she *can* be healed for your peace of mind.

With this level of organization, you could even split into 4+1 groups for each island. Or even smaller teams of 5 for each champion for even faster clear time. The fastest public Convergence I did was when we have 2 or 3 commanders (don't remember exactly) each taking 1 island. Me and a few like-mind people headed to where there is no commander tag. (Our group ended up finish before each tag due to low scaling. And ppl who go opposite direction of the tags are more likely to know what they are doing.)
Or you AFK 90% of the time, let the others do the work, hop in when Sorrow hits the central Island and get most of the loot. Alternatively you Flame in map chat, that people are to stupid to heal zojja ;)

WTH is wrong with the game lately frequent crashing during SOTO convergence and strikes. Only GW2 is the game crashing my other games not.
