What I love the most, is that the narrator sounds a shoe in for a Leonardo ninja turtle 90's youth guy type, which totally sends this clip's relevancy over to righteous!
As kids in the 90s, my brother and I used to sneak behind the curtains after the animatronic performances to get a closer look. It was so unsettling seeing them in the dark in a frozen state, eyes wide open staring into a void.

I swear, every performance I had the pleasure of seeing displayed all these malfunctions and more. To my recollection the entire show was 15 endless minutes of watching them freeze up and spazz out while everyone waited for the pizza come out and the grown ups drank pitchers of beer and the kids begged them for more tokens.

It’s really sad to to see animatronics like this that never get fixed. They just assume that animatronics that are 40 years old just can keep on playing music with no issues.
I always wonder why there is never any maintenance or updating them because they are old and need new life

They're expensive to maintain. Disney had a similar problem when I went but there's an emergency shut down and people behind the scenes. The ride will shut down, possibly shut off, remind kids, parents, well everyone to be seated, not to get out the ride...etc.
Found out it's common as well. Some stuff would also close (few hours) for a cool down for the animatronics.
I can't tell you how many times Splash Mountain stopped (looked the name up btw). The lights would dim, animatronic's may still be singing, sometimes they stop it altogether and put it back. Happened a few times. I went with my extended family and we didn't go back on either. (to a lot of kids disappointment, the lights going off kinda scared them, and the boat stopping did as well)
