Even after 27 years, the opening to this game gives me goosebumps. Please carry on with this playthrough. I really want to see Dave taking Dave to the conclusion of his journey
Not sure if it’s the video game equivalent to Dorothy opening the door to see the land of Oz or to the opening shot of the Star Destroyer in Star Wars, but it was one of those moments where gamers at the time knew nothing would ever be the same as before.

This is amazing! My best friend and I are watching this and we sound like my family watching American football. Yelling at the screen like you guys can hear us! Getting personal with the Dave player insults! I knew when I saw this playlist that I had to show my best friend. We both love FF7. In fact, my friend has a tattoo of the meteor logo on her arm. Now she’s moved on to commentary about Rob not coaching well enough. Lol This is flipping hilarious!

Ahhh, the sweet hit of nostalgia... I haven't played the original since its original pc release. It's a pity that I don't have the original discs still, heh, though they might not even work on modern machines! Suppose I should head to Steam and pick it up again... ooh, and VIII while I'm at it, could go for a little Triple Triad (and it's catchy theme!)
Hope whatever metrics you chose get high enough to see more of this as a series, it's always entertaining to see a new player try out an old favorite.
I hope you enjoy playing these games again, and watching this show continue to the end.
By the way, old PSone games play on PS3, just insert the disc.

Final Fantasy VII is my favourite game of all time and I would love nothing more than to watch this series continue. Plus Dave seems really into it and this will be a nice treat in the run up to the release of Rebirth!

#VODSquad - My Thursday routine is get home from work, cook my meal and sit and watch the stream. To see that it’s the guys, playing the GREATEST VIDEO GAME OF ALL TIME, and we finally get to see Rob gush about ffvii in all its glory, is the best present ever to come home to. Oh please keep doing this series! I love it! I love seeing the game played through Dave's eyes. And it's so funny hearing Rob giggle every time Dave says something he never thought of, like "I can't sell Barrett's gun because it's attached to him!" This is wonderful to watch.

This was a really fun stream. The first time I’ve seen so much of FFVII, having never played the original. I would love to see more of this as a series.

Re watching the intro just showed games tried harder to draw new comers in. The nostalgic feelings I get are so powerful I get butterflies in my stomach.
