Does aptt get markedly prolonged in warfarin therapy or just a little and why,
Hey thanks for checking out the video! I'm not hugely sure by what amount it does increase the aptt by. I would assume it's dose dependent
But usually pt is used more commonly in monitoring warfarin activity, due to it measuring the activity of the extrinsic pathway and the fact that factor 7 has the shortest half life so gives the most accurate result
