Hey Jesse! I just want to say thank you for all of the humor, positivity, and kindness you put into these videos. I have been struggling a little bit in life in general and you always make me smile, plus you are the one that recommended me Skyward which is my favorite book of all time (I saw the side of it on you shelf and stalked the book store till I found it lol). Thanks for being awesome!
Piggy No name it’s about a future society on a distant planet where the people live in caverns, but are attacked frequently by an alien species called the Krell. In this world pilots are regarded as brave and honorable, but it is difficult to become one. The main character is named Spensa and her dad was a traitor pilot, but she still wants to become one. I won’t spoil anything but it’s a super great book and if you like sci fi you should read it. It also may include a sassy sentient spaceship.
I know it might sound weird, but I love the sound of Jesse’s voice. He has a rhythm to it that is very fast and engaging. It’s such a nice addition to the already great content!
I had a nice, free day and I've read like, last 150 pages of "Six of Crows" and around 500 pages of "Crooked Kingdom" and boy I love this duology so much, it's soooo good, I'm gonna finish it tomorrow morning cause I need to go to sleep now, but like I!Love! These!Books! Also I know I'm kinda late for the party but I got my hands on the second book only a couple of days ago and now I need to buy them even though I'm broke. Also, also I have all the feelings right now.
@@ohohnenyeoo2654 I finished "Crooked Kingdom" and I cried two times, I don't remember last time it happened so I'm just SOOO GLAD that I picked it up ♥
Damayanti same. Had the same experience. Oof. It was a perfect book to cry on bc as at the time I read it, I hadn’t cried a whole lot, especially regarding fictional characters. So yeah it was at the right time.
I have read How to Make Feiends With the Dark and I love that not only does it explore grief but it also describes it as a different experience for everyone. It tells you a lot about how each person experiences it in a different but when they hear others in similar paths they can come together to heal through that time. As someone who has experienced death in multiple ways for the past few years it was a very poignant and helpful book for me.
I absolutely LOVE How To make Friends with the dark! Kathleen Glasgow just has a way with taking hard hitting topics and making the utterly REAL and RAW! Not just me reading a character going through something, I actually felt every emotion the character with through. Girls in Pieces is my FAVORITE book of all time (Kathleen's debut) but her 2nd definitely reassured why I loved her writing style.
Looking for Alaska made me cry. I also read it in high school that happened. Alaska's relationship with her mother was something I used to relate to. We are much better now.
Hi Jesse! I want to thank you for posting humorous videos because when I have a bad day I can turn straight to you and know that I will become happy again! Thank you! 📚
Dear Jesse, Thank you for bringing a smile on my face with your childish and humorous actions. The editing was awesome and don't get me started on the shooting. I added many book in my TBR. Although my mom got frustrated and threw away all my book (add a little bit of weeping here), I will not let my hopes go down and am trying to reassemble my bookshelf. So, thank you for everything.
I just finished the ruby red trilogy. I think it's amazing. It is a slow-moving story but you really get to see what happens when there is not complete action. book 1. Ruby red 2. Saphir blue 3. Emerald green by Kirstin Gier
Oh my god I'm so happy you have read Pax! At first I thought it was going to be a cliche children's novel but I ended up loving it to bits. It had a very nostalgic feeling for me. I do agree on your point that it should have been compressed. I might actually post a review up on my channel soon... (When I make videos)

I loved this video! I can definitely see that you put work into it! I would also super duper love a video about like the stats of your bookshelf (eg. total books you have, books you’re going to unhaul, books that made you rage, special editions of books) I just think that’s neat!
I read Girls With Sharp Sticks over the summer and the sequel is coming out sometime around March 2020, and it was probably the best YA novel I’ve read in a long time! The story was interesting and there was a great twist and the topics it covers are relevant and definitely provoke some deep thinking about what it means to be human!
you should really try a reading tracker app called Leio... its not like goodreads because it doesn’t have that “social media” side but it gives you all the statistics, like how long you spend on each page and there are so many cool graphs. the premium version is one purchase of about 5 dollars (im brazilian and paid 22 reais so it should be something around 5 dollars) and i got it the day i downloaded the app also i think itd be helpful for a lot of people if you did a video about your fav book related apps/websites💕
I don’t know if you’ve read or even heard of this book, but “Five Feet Apart” by Rachel Lippincott is one of my favorites. It is a romance about two teenagers, Stella and Will, who have cystic fibrosis. Because of CF they can’t be less than 6 feet apart, but love has it’s own rules. I highly recommend!
I'm late as always but I recently read the whole raven cycle series and it was so good! I don't know what I'm going to read next because I feel so empty inside now that it's over.
Read the Waterfire Saga! it’s my absolute favorite. it starts with Deep Blue then Rogue Wave, Dark Tide, and ends with Sea Spell. It’s sooooo good you won’t regret it

I watched The Farewell on your recommendation, initially I was already planning on watching it because I'm an amateur film critic but after you said you liked it, It moved its way up. It is a slow burn, it is a genuinely good movie imo and quite frankly I've been wanting to see more of Awkwafina as of late and I'm anticipated she has a new show coming in January to Comedy central!
Hi Jesse, loved the video! The editing is on point, as always 👌 Out of these books I definitely want to read How to Make Friends With the Dark! Ready for a good ol’ emosh time.
