I’m glad you’re watching this version, it is my favorite video of all. My favorite song by BTS of all time. Hobi brought TEARS to my eyes with this one.
I honestly barely breathe when watching this. I honestly feel like him writing this helped the members decide to not breakup and stay together. It made all the members cry when he played it. Although heartbreaking of a song it also helped them in their discussion to stay together. All 3 rappers put it all out there live. RM is pissed as hell, Yoongi is frustrated and angry. Jhope is heartbroken and those emotions are in those emotions. Also jhope in custom Dior outfit deserves a moment of silence.
All Rap line members wrote their own rap part. This song was revealed when BTS almost decided to disband in 2018.
I can’t believe no one in the comments gave you context for this song! It was written when they were having a very hard time and seriously considering disbanding. The lyrics are about the band members and are so raw and painful. ARMY dropped the ball on this one, going on about the outfits (which are fire, tbf) and little else…
