- You can try making Rudy's Creamed Corn in a crockpot it is so easy to do. This recipe is super easy to make and you will have effortless creamed corn in no time at all.

Here are the crockpot instructions.
32 ounces frozen sweet corn
8 ounces cream cheese
2 pints heavy cream
4 ounces cream cheese
16 ounces corn frozen
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions

QUESTION: WHY DOES THIS REQUIRE 4 HRS. TO COOK? How would it be if the ingredients were scaled down to much less corn, (I live alone). The recipe calls for 48 oz of corn total. COULD THE INGREDIENTS BE PREPARED IN A SAUCE PAN ... PROPORTIONALLY FROM THE COPYCAT RECIPE? Thanks for your opinion, Stephanie. : )

Why is there 2 different kinds of corn? one is 16 oz frozen corn the other is 32 oz of sweet corn.
You forgot to say you doubled this recipe and in the instructions below you are adding another bag of corn and block of cream cheese.
I haven't tried this yet but I do love their creamed corn. If you find yourself on a road trip and come across a Rudy's, try the creamed corn and the chopped brisket. You won't be disappointed!
At the 1:37 mark you said two pints of cream cheese, instead of cream.

This, although a really tasty recipe, is not cream corn.
You can kick this recipe up by adding chopped onions, bell pepper, chiles and even shredded chicken or ham.
Its more like corn in a cream sauce but definitely NOT creamed corn.
@@punkin62 yep you are right. This is what Rudy's calls creamed corn.
Not a fan of this new trend to ‘post’ a video that will premiere hours later. When I have time to sit down and watch a video, I want to see the video; not wait hours for it to premiere.
