Being honest and straight forward works best. This is the only way things make sense. Maybe the two want the same thing. Communication helps. I mean, if this person is making assumptions about what one wants and not openly communicating, that is childish. Truly. My best guy friend is thirty years started sending mixed messages. I found this annoying..I am an absolute believer in communication. Anything can be sorted out through conversation.
I really am getting g too old for this crap haha but what if you back off and keep things friends only (as the girl) to be on the safe side and to not ruin what you have and keep things from growing serious and potentially bitter. What if you do that and it turns out he did have feelings for you after all ? would that not feel bad to him? Me and this person have fun. he DOES act like there is interest in me and yeah I do like hanging out with him too but I'm not sure that I would want to be serious rn but I do really like him as a person and he brings a bit of fun and light and humour to my life despite it not being a straight forward girl likes guy , guy likes girl let's get together situation? I don't know maybe I am better at keeping it as friends and I enjoy this person's company but it Does honestly feel like he's keen on me I picked it up through very subtle signals at the beginning that I couldn't put into words and then S one barriers were crossed now it seems more obvious like...sometimes you just KNOW when theres interest there So I could keep it as us being mates having a laugh but these vibes that he puts out I'm not sure what to do :/ he says I'm a cool person and attractive ha
there's a guy that works at a grocery store I go to alot and he is very attractive. I used to stare at him in awe from afar, he would always catch me looking at him and would always look back. I went to that store alot just to see him and he would always come up and say "hello, how are you doing today?" or just a casual "hello" to greet me and my mom, but he would do that to pretty much everyone because he's an outgoing person and it's his job to be friendly but sometimes I would go in the areas of the store he was in to get what I needed, I would look around his area to glance at him but he would already be staring at me so I would get super nervous and avoid eyecontact at those times I felt nervous cause I knew he was watching but good cause that's also what I want lol. there was one time where I was in an isle and he was walking past it. I saw him in the corner of my eye and looked at him, he was already staring so I made eyecontact with him and we both didn't let go until he had to turn to the next isle. But a couple weeks past since I was on vacation I couldn't see him, when I came back he wasn't the same he would see me and smile like a greeting which isn't bad but he stopped holding eyecontact with me or even looking at me as much as he used to. Do you think he was interested in me before I went on vacation? I'm thinking he might have moved on or got over me and it was my fault because most of the time I would avoid eyecontact with him because it would make me nervous and now he stopped and it's making me sad and heart broken. What do you think? Did he possibly like me??
KaitlynMoon Yeah he probs did like you and find you attractive at that time. This has happened to me loads of times and I'm worried my shyness is interpreted as lack of interest (but I just get really embarrassed lol😂). He would've probably moved on, hence the new lack of interest. You can move on too. Every time things like this happen you'll gain new confidence around flirting in general and before you know it, you'll be approaching the guy asking him how HE is. It's a learning game and unfortunately you have to be patient to truly understand guys. I certainly don't yet.
