I can't describe how happy it makes me to see you involve Sam in so many things. I know it's not even a thought at this point but we all see it.
It seems sam is down for anything.
They’re lucky to have sam, he’s smarter then all of these guys combined same is a legend
Seeing Sam clap with joy makes my day every time! The guy is a treasure.
Sams full head of hair is what’s most impressive
#Keeps
He (keeps) his hair !!! Lol
He’s using keeps 😊
I'm not everglades m even 40 yet, and his hair is 3x thicker than mine. 😆 😆
I went bald when I turned 19
It's so fun watching Cleeter explain simple stuff to us simpletons! Doug made a good choice partnering up!
These guys are great. I absolutely love Sam. Great catch can, too.
Sam. The only man that can tuck in a hoodie.
And wear denim from head to toe. “ I’m guilty too “
Sam is on so many different channels! He is great!
Sam is the man! Awesome product guys!
That is a great piece of kit! Works a treat! You boys rock. Ordering a pair of those now, thank you!
Came here because I heard about this video from the Cooper podcast, didn't disappoint
Wow. Definitely buying one of these for my LS. Great video!!
Great demo!🤘
Loving the Cutless build
Motion gonna be the amazon of drag racing.. Except with quality products 😆😆
Jay Mac motion has some of the most overpriced items on the market, summit racing or ebay/dna motorsports are the amazon of drag racing. Motion is like the gucci of drag racing.
That was nicely Done!
Great sales pitch!! I'd buy it!! Hell yeah brother!!
I've been running a catch can on the PCV circuit of my stock-ish Durango for a few years now. Usually has an ounce or two of oil in it between oil changes. Nice to know that oil's not getting run through my intake.
Nice demo
Now Mr Sam, this is what we’re going to do now. I’m going to fill this catch can up and simulate what happens when you forget to drain the can.
SAM, where are you going Sam????
Hell yeah brother
Nice , I going to buy one for my Vega🤩
Hell Yeah Brother!
Mr Sam !!!!! I love his clap !!
Impressive.
Hell yeah brother.
sam is the man
Sam your the MAN!!!!!
Love this. Reminds me of nitrous fidget spinners
Looking at adding this to the pcv delete on my M235i with an N55
Looks like ole Cleeter has filled a couple of beer bongs before. Didn’t spill a drop!
Sam is "THE MAN"
they really do work and so does the diy kit you can build for $50
Lol poor person /\
@@lifebehindtheselens Why? You think some of us choose to be poor? Life is incredibly cruel for some people.
@@92Jdmsupra yep i built one out of pvc, for 15 bucks and it works great, used 1/4 npt air fittings for quick disconnects so i can pop it off and drain oil easily.
Throwing Sam in as the test subject lol and that’s insanely impressive as a product. I know general stuff on a vehicle, motorcycles more than cars, but racing stuff I’m not familiar with outside watching a lot of Cleet. Was curious what a catch can was for or better like how and why it was there. This cleared things up a little and wasn’t even meant to be educational I don’t think 😂
Will this work on my mini van?
Do you have one for a stock N/A 2015 suburban?
❤
this can is dual inlet ? got a boosted gen3 with no can yet, not sure if I can just passenger side can it or go this route and block off intake port
Stops some of the condensation coming back and settling on the cam gear as well, not that any of cleeters engines last long enough to worry about that!
SAM THE INTERN IS LIVING HIS BEST LIFE
I need one for my air compressor 😂
Honest question. Why atmospheric vent vs a contained baffled system? Doesn't that result in negative or neutral pressure where it should be positive? I don't know everything but contemplating a catch can on a jet ski
You do not want to vent into a closed system unless you use a scavenger pump, but even then, where will you relieve the pressure to? Its best to vent to atmosphere to relief the engine from harmful crank case pressure...
How come the kits so much more expensive than the can itself, are the fittings and hose really that expensive?
Sam has faith !
just watched that full ad and don't even have a car.
cleeter, do not blow compressed air on your skin. It will force air into your skin and could get into your blood. Just a thought. Love the catch can!
Do they have a drain back?
There is a 1/4” npt in the bottom so you could certainly do that
Please make this fit my Harley Twin Cam
I designed a muffler like that for Rotoy engines
How to bench prime your catch can. Very important!
can test the catch can hook it up to my back door after a bowl of hormel chili and beer lol
Brother, there ain't a catch can on Earth that could survive that!
@@KevinHuff23 correct lol
They are very well made
of course my bone stock 5.0 coyote F-150 now needs this. lol.
good test allthough most of the time the oil coming out of the breather in the valvecover is more vaporized / atomized / suspended in air , should still work fine when it slams intoo that wall inside the can it will mostly condence and drop down and watever stays suspended will be caught in the filtermesh , does mean you need to ocasionally degrease the filter or replace it (it will clog up)
try the same thing using a paintspray gun or one of those undercoat "blubber on" type spray guns filled with thin oil and just blow that through the hose intoo the can
It's a little late to be asking questions sam!
Glad to see this thing works well since I own one myself lol.
Dr Tune-em-all, Dr Spray-em-all... lemme introduce you to Dr Clean-em-all...
The engine oil y'all used is at room temperature. Try it again with hot 210 + F degree oil and see if it works the same. Just say'in.
So if I have a 7 quart oil pan then would I have to run 7 oil catch cans to catch all of the oil in the motor if the motor blows up? 🤔😂
It would be impressive and almost if you exited every ounce of oil out of an engine into a catch can lol. That doesn’t happen
Do it with hot oil see if that makes a difference
I couldn’t see the air coming out either. Could be a trick catch can lol
bet Dale could see it
"Blow it in a can if it won't stay in your pan."
heat oil up to make it less tacky and see what it does dump oil on floor blow it with blower it stays conformed heat the oil up to 185 to 200 f crap blows into droplets everywhere
You guys could name that product a: Sam Can !!!
Dr. Waxem
always wear safety goggle experimenting , if that filter blew off you would be in trouble
Add intake vacuum to the other side and see what it pull back into the engine. Plus explain to people the pro and con of a vented can vs sealed. Majority of ppl are putting them on street driven engines where a vented can without a check valve will allow non metered air into the system after the MAF.
This catch can installs by capping pcv. And capping vac hoses to TB. You attach hoses from both VCs to the vented can. There is no unmetered air going pass MAF because those vac hoses have been capped....correct?
Blowing static oil through the things means next to nothing, it's not vaporized nor is it hot, nor does it have combustion products in it. You want to test it out throw it on a motor that makes decent power and show us a vid of the thing on a dyno at full song for extended back to back pulls.
Let's go ahead and admit it... we see Mr. Sam on the thumbnail we click on it.
New cold oil and compressed air isn't quite the same as hot engine excretions..
Well it was way more oil than would ever be in a line normally and lot more pressure/flow than the can would ever see in the car. Seems like a reasonable demonstration to me even with cold oil.
@@--_DJ_-- I think its harder to separate oil thats mixed with the air.
I have a few vehicles that would give it a workout.
@@AndyFromm sounds like you better go buy some and get back to everyone on your findings..
@@AndyFromm Did you see what the oil looked like in the can? It instantly becomes a milk shake once that much pressure is introduced to it. I GUARANTEE you this will work on your application and any other in the world!
@@Eschelonisticwhats the point, no one watches my videos
$300? Wtf. Maybe $50 id buy one.
Be it a 427, shyster, a damn Suzuki in a ditch, a catch can.. Cleet will take it to the limit and beyond.
I’m just here for the algorithm…..
Looks like your compressor need to drained. Little milk shake
Dr. Sam needs a lab coat.
Charlie, shun the non- believer... ssshhuuunnn.
Blue cable tie fails....🤣
That test means nothing 🤦♂️ it needs to separate oil vapour from air, centrifuge style works best. For the test you did a bottle with a hose going into it would have given the same result 😂
u guys support cleetus - i support u guys (subbed n liked n notod)
Mr.Sam!
FOR SCIENCE!!! 🧪🥼🔬
Thanks for the scientificationism I am now 9/7s smarter 👍👌!
It is sad to see high dollar race cars with rags around the air filter. Also now think of doing a real test and simulate a race car launching and going down track, or put a brand new one in the El-Camino and make a few passes. My bet is your going to be cleaning up a mess.
