Thomson’s Plum Pudding Model | History Of The Atom | GCSE Chemistry (9-1) | kayscience.com
JJ Thomson discovered the electron using his cathode ray experiment. This disproved Dalton’s atomic theory as electrons are smaller than the atom. JJ Thompson came up with the plum pudding model which described atoms as having a sphere of positive charge with negatively charged electrons scattered throughout. Both Thompson and Dalton said atoms had a neutral charge because the positive and negative charges balanced each other.

Really enjoyed it i appreciated it
thank you
Nice video 👍
Very nice video, thank you.
Thank you too
Stitch went through puberty😂
(Thank you for this❤)
3:34 in the plum pudding model the sphere is like a circle not like a sphere ! Wrong answer mate, have you ever seen a spherical plum?!
Okay if plum pudding model was true does alpha particals pass through it
Yes they would pass through if it was true, but because 1 in every 8000 alpha particles are deflected backwards, this means there must be a very small dense positively charged central point called the nucleus which the plum pudding model does not explain - does this help?
Okay how would they pass through dense atom
Thx
Ladu thanks ka spling naw ATI Kya chutya
Pov here for Mr raddons cover lesson
Thomson or Thompson?
both work!
