I am from the Philippines and I have my XLR200 1998 with the following XR 200 same engine same frame only the L is omitted it is electric start 12volts no kick with disc brake in front wheel and drum at the rear, until now it is running better faster and lighter than it was brand new when I bought it before, what I did I replaced the stock rear drum brakes with a lighter hub and brake caliper set from the Kawasaki KMX 125 then I replaced the stock CDI with a racing CDI from ebay which is made in china but still reliable, the difference it is faster and more torque, no more rev limiter that Honda installed in their factory set CDI, before top speed is 105km/HR at least with no rev limiter it can reach 120 in the highway.
That is the most obnoxiously loud 12hp ever.
Love the thumpty thump thump
