Bro….
Im fans of you Chris from Indonesia
WTF Of course it COUNTS !!!! That successful attempt is the sole holder of Chris not falling to the ground for the 1st time. All his Trucks were bent or broken, he rolled away but the trucks failed on him. Chris bailed the forced powerslide and landed on his feet with a controlled effort so as to not fall. This COUNTS
The most heartbreaking almost rollaway in the history of skateboarding.
😩

What is the last footage of the last landing? Did he roll away!?

I don’t think people realize the pain and dedication skaters go through so the raw skate content always hits different. We’re all human and I guess joslin is too . LEGEND
🙌
For sure, namaste
These war vids certainly help though... amazing what the pro's put themselves through for nbd's
I kinda think people do realize it and that's why people think skaters are crazy
He’s still not human. Lol

You’ve never skated and it shows lol
@@user-ju7zb6mz1n skated and surfed my whole life and still do.
You’re just a hater and it shows lol
He didn’t land it, that’s why. That doesn’t count. Not even close.
I uses to skate hard in the early to mid 2000s and was in absolute love with it. I'm 34yrs old now and on the daily I have aches in both of my knees from the years of slams and impacts from it. After blowing out my left ankle on a simple ass boardslide on a sketchy ass 6 stair handrail, that was pretty much it for my skating career. I ended up having surgery on it and they installed screws which I still have to this day. It took about 6 or 7 months to get back on the board but it wasn't the same. Seems like I had nerve damage and couldn't flick out with that foot anymore. I started to skate more switch to try and compensate but the pain and the anxiety got the best of me and I was no longer psyched to try the huge shit that I would normally do prior. I still enjoy watching the old videos and following up on the up and coming talent. Crazy how far skating has come and how people are becoming wealthy off of it. This dude is fucking sick and is always pushing the bar further and further with his hammers. Back in the days I used to love Mark Appleyard, Chris Cole, P-Rod, Koston, PJ Ladd (Basically the entire Flip team), Rick McCrank, Marc Johnson, and so many others who were killing it at that time.
💪
I realized halfway through the video that I was slightly out of breath… sitting on my couch watching my phone… damn Chris you are a beast!

DUDE it takes so much to Endure what Joslin went through. His mentality while he's going through it is amazing. There is no other way you can handle pain like that any better. Plus he did do it. We can nit pick the landing but he caught it, rolled away long enough and then people can nit pick the rest. It's still amazing
🙌💪
I can't believe a legend like this got disrespected by a punk at batb. He threw the red flag for a good reason. Tyler Peterson the worst sportsman in the history of skateboarding, and the ref should have absolutely nothing to do with skateboarding ever again. You guys from storied should bring back the pros when it was all about fun and the games were exciting, not a bunch of IG clowns
@JackPinkhunter why you getting whiny about tyler he didn't make the call.
@@ThatIsDopeBro He could have at least called himself out on it. Sewa did that in the finals and got the entire skateboard community's respect, and his toedrag was dubious. Tyler put half of his foot on the ground and used his weight to support him. I wouldn't even have called that a fricking redo on defence.
@@JackPinkhunterresult of the game wouldn't have been any different
That counts in my book. If he would have walked forward to the guys after and clapped their hands instead of picking up his board and going back up everyone would've had no doubt. It's how he reacted that changed the perception that it didn't count but in reality that counted.
Totally agree
Chris wanted that roll away. He for SURE landed the 360flip. Just wasn't good enough for his standards. ✊
Nah
I say no. He clearly lost control, probably a choke. Doesn't make it count to gaslight and play it of like a dab
@@marcusrosales3344 yes if you take it that life or death and deal in true metrics he didn’t but skateboarding is subjective af this was equipment failure not user. 5 dollar bushings 40 dollar trucks on el Toro doing a trick with two different revolutions of your board and he went thru 3 sets of trucks taking those factors of physics into account bruh landed this also proves indy better than venture cus he slid after this lol

Be sure to check out JAWS 100 Ways right here on STORIED!
that would be a crazy perspective, some type of downward gopro mount so we could watch the gap underneath.
As a skater, when you can't complete the roll away after the trick, it always sucks so much. It's like you did the hard part, the 95% of the whole sequence, but that last 5% are still vital, without it the trick is not complete. You can see him running back immidiately after the failed roll away, because the feeling of pure bliss was interrupted. He knows he CAN do it, but unfortunately, it has not been officialy done.
Well said.❤ best way of describing it

@@billybobthekidiswack Very good point, I didn't even realize that was what i was doing. He does only stay on for about 2, so i digress. Tre flip down that is soooo gnarly, if he would’ve rode away clean it would’ve been the best trick done down that set hands down, kickflip by Bushinsky was insane but it’s pretty much like an Ollie, you can catch the kickflip high and just wait to take the impact, tre flip is so much different down stuff, the rotation has to be perfect especially on el toro, he’s still a legend in my book for sticking it, I believe if the trucks didnt Give out he would’ve rode away and this video wouldn’t exist, I’d love to see somebody make this spot skateable again
