Side buttons can be used for: scroll wheel up & down, toggle zoom optics in & out, ping enemies, sub menus, hide hud, change communication frequency (arma 3 etc) assign special equipment, rocket launchers...a lot if your using steam big picture!👍 mode
When listening to this video with headphones, I can only hear the audio from the LEFT ear only. I already troubleshoot and played someone else content to test the RIGHT ear, and it's this video.
Not sure if you’ve tried using the SAX button yet but I have and not sure if it’s muscle memory but it’s slightly difficult to control hitting it when in a scramble. May take take for my hands to figure it out but that’s where I’m at currently
I absolutely loved those side buttons. I used them to replace r3 and l3 so I hit them when I want to Sprint or do melee. That also prevents you from getting stick drift down the road
I recommend the Victrix Gambit over this. Changeable thumbsticks and changeable back buttons. This one isn't bad, but the stick drift is almost immediate for the price.
How do you feel the envision feels in hand compared to the PS5 or the reflex? Pretty easy transition? Any issues with stick drift so far? Great review probably the best I have seen!
Thank you @chase_mowka! The controller feels smaller than the PS5 controller but it's not a huge difference. I would say the transition would be relatively easy. The back paddles, even though different to the reflex, are positioned in a similar way. I've found this to be one of the easiest controllers to use in terms of back paddle design. Hope that helps 👍
I understand that hall effect is the way of the future, but controllers that have it currently, I’m just gonna be honest, the technology is not there yet. They don’t have as good of response time. The dead zone. And other reasons. I think this is why Scuf did not do that in this controller.
My biggest complaint is the thumbsticks for some reason I can’t get used to them and I don’t like using kontrol freeks. I wish they had thumbstick like Aim controller they are way more comfortable
I tried using the side buttons to ping but I ended up plugging them I kept hitting by mistake. Honestly man I returned this controller, the software issues were too annoying and I couldn’t get over the learning curve (using Xbox controller for ever to PS style controller)
The blue one? Its a knock off on the kontrol freeks version but same fit. Ps5. The black rubber is not a kontrol freeks product, its a thumbstick covers by play vital.
sweet vid i cant wait to feel no aim assist on it when mine comes in already know them thumbsticks aint gonna be too comfortable but ill give kontrol freaks a try if it gets annoying

Ahh damn! Thanks for bringing that to our attention. We'll be extra vigilant next time round.
Hall effect sticks can get stick drift also, and the deadzone is bigger always
I would use the Right Side Action button to ping on warzone. You can ping at the same time you’re shooting

your audio is jacked up. it comes from left ear , not right

The hardware mapping is for when you don't have the software running in the background.
I did that and i still have to have the software running in the background
16:49 👍
Controller companies won’t go to Hall effect because it decreases re buying potential. You would effectively never need another controller again.
Loved how you explained every detail.thanks
You can't replace the joysticks once they get stick drift ?
u need to fix it which is risky, go to a near by store that can fix it or send it in which ccan take up to 21 bussiness days at least for me

Is that the longer domed thumbstick? I agree, its not very good, no grip whatsoever!
@@DoubleTakeTechUk Yea and they didn’t even include a long concave stick in the box which sucks
hall effects isnt good enough for competitive. all pros still prefer the old way because its more accurate.

I totally get it. Some days, the software totally gets on my nerves. What did you end up buying instead?
@@DoubleTakeTechUk I just got another elite but I’m still on the market for something else

No aim assist? Why would you think it has no aim assist? 🤔
Yeh defos would recommend either kontrol freeks or the rubber caps i'm using.
@@DoubleTakeTechUk i dont think it has no aimassist im just a noaimassist player an like it off and bet i will check out the rubber caps thx
@@DoubleTakeTechUkI just got mine and it has zero aim assist. I’m very disappointed. That’s the whole reason I have the controller.
@@parkermckenzie4929why is there no aim assist?
